   I enjoyed my lunch at Midtown Beach Dining and Social. I can’t lie; I did expect more because I saw this place online (Instagram) and thought it’d be more pristine and bougie, but it was a little dirty. The “pool” wasn’t really a pool - just a water fountain shaped like a pool with a fountain inside of it. My frozen drink was weak, so I had to order a Coke. The pool deck where the tables are wasn’t the cleanest. Our fan wasn’t working so we had scrounge around to find one that worked then we couldn’t, so our waitress had to find one. There were also many times where we were looking for our waitress and couldn’t find her; it’s like she disappeared for like 20-25 minutes and was hanging out in the back or something. Additionally, I wish the menu was a little more advanced. It seemed to me that the menu only had a few basic dishes and wasn’t anywhere in comparison to other restaurants in the Atlanta area, so I can definitely tell why the place was pretty empty during brunch. However, the food I did try was really good, and I enjoyed it. I’m not sure if I’d come to this place because it was extremely underwhelming. But, it was fine for a quick lunch.

   They called me and Cancelled my reservation 30 minutes before due to weather. They could have cancelled way before that time. They waited until the last minute. We ended up at Octopus Kitchen which was amazing!

   It was really hot on the day we went and the fans were doing no justice. I wish there was a little more on the menu and went on a Sunday around 1pm really wanted a brunch menu. Drinks could of been better.

   When I say we got sat in a corner and no-one waited our table thats exactly what I mean. It took someone and hour to come ask what we wanted to *DRINK , but the drinks never arrived . 30 minutes after putting in our order for drinks I decided to take it upon myself to go down to the bar and ask for two waters bc me and my gf we’re very thirsty at this point. The group of girls seated at the table next to us were having the same problems but apparently had been there about an hour longer than us. Our meals were brought out at separate times, and my gf was missing fries. We also ordered sushi that never made it out to the table. Awful experience and 65$ for 6 cheeseburger sliders ! No waiter, no drinks, and damn near didn’t even get no food.

   The poolside ambiance was definitely a vibe. Food was decent. Really enjoyed the sliders. Drinks were strong, and looked good too. Overall an amazing environment for a date night!

   Chose this place because of the expected ambience. The location did not disappoint. Reviewed the menu before arriving and was ready to order for a party of 4. Our hostess had to wait in us because they were obviously understaffed. Danielle was the reason we stayed. We spoke with management and got some clarity on why things were slower than normal. The Brussel sprouts are great. This place has potential.
