The Brussel sprouts were great and the pear martinis were delicious. We had the mushroom and the pinecone for dessert and I must say they were as delicious as they were beautiful.
Great service - one can see, that they are going to a big bother to train their staff; food is extravagant-delicious, unique and, of course, very contemporary with flavors from around the world. It reminds me of slow-food restaurants in Europe.
We were here twice and, for sure, will come again.
The desserts are phenomenal, all the different taste are smooth together and the appearance is beautiful!
Too small and too packed with people inside, given pandemic. Chose to eat in 30 degree weather on deck. But it was delicious
ribeye was very overcooked; well done instead of medium rare. the waiter told us (twice) that the manager would come speak to us. however, nobody apologized and i ate the steak as is.
by far the most disappointing meal i have experienced in highlands, especially for a birthday occasion. we will not be returning.
We loved this innovative contemporary restaurant!
Enjoy eating at Midpoint third time in last 4 months and haven’t been disappointed in the food. Excited to have another nice restaurant in Highlands with good food and great atmosphere.
Midpoint is hands down, my favorite place to eat in Highlands. Fantastic!!
Great food and service, the chicken ramen and pad Thai were priced a little on the high side in my opinion, but my only criticism
My wife and I got the crab spring rolls as an appetizer and they were just bad. We then got the Seafood Paella for our main course and it was bland, no real flavor. Really disappointed for the price point. Maybe we had just two bad misses but I will definitely never go back. The desserts did look really cool so if you are just going for dessert maybe it's better.
Everything we ate was excellent and served quickly by a great server. Definitely recommend.
We dined at Midpoint Highlands for a New Year’s Eve early evening dinner . When I made the reservation for a party of six I had to guarantee with a credit card. We arrived early and were seated promptly close to the fireplace. We were offered a celebration menu due to NYE which had plenty of eclectic appetizers and entrees to choose from. The calamari and mushroom appetizer with tofu was quite tasty. Our party ordered the osso buco, curried sea bass and pork chop entrees, All were very flavorful and plated visually appealing, though I would have preferred the sea bass to arrive hotter in temperature. The dessert menu had multiple options for every palate to choose from, and the waiter invited us to go to case before making our final selection. We ordered three different desserts including the whimsical mushroom 🍄 that so many have raved about on Opentable and it didn’t disappoint. They are truly a work of art! However, the dessert prices vary from moderate to high and are not listed on the menu. If cost is a concern, my recommendation would be to inquire before ordering. As the dessert prices can be as much as the cost for an entree.
NYE Dinner with the family. Great evening
Our waiter was excellent and offered great suggestions. The foos was incredible. We look forward to dining there again!
Variety of choice on the menu. Everything has been delicious. We have eaten here several times.
Great food, great service, perfect place for our family after Christmas celebration meal.
Great food and service.
Birthday celebration with grandchildren. Food was excellent and service (Nicole) was great. The calamari was the best I’ve had! Wonderful desserts! Will continue to eat there
Boss lady cocktail was amazing and my sea bass with curry sauce was unbelievably delicious. Our waiter was super knowledgeable and friendly - he was there from Greenville for the season for work. Highly recommend!
Everything was wonderful!
Great food and service. Our 1 year old was a little fussy and another server brought her crayons and a picture. She was happy (and so were we)
When you want something between casual and fine dining, Midpoint is a very good choice. Tasty food, good portions and a menu that continues to be updated to reflect seasonal availability of fresh ingredients.
Empanadas, Brussels Sprouts, seafood and Steak Stirfry were excellent!!!!
Food and service was outstanding.
Ambience was not as hoped. Crowded and loud. Overall, would go back
We were looking forward to eating here to celebrate our anniversay, but we unfortunately sat for 25 minutes without being served. The restaurant was packed and having past experience in the service industry, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. But due to a couple of observations, I think the service would have been under par regardless. With the prices they were charging, it was not worth it to stay and have a poor experience. We called Wild Thyme for a table and had a nice meal there with excellent service.
Original table was by the door and was drafty as very cold outside. Restaurant accommodated by moving us to a table further inside by a heater. Unfortunately the chair I was on was broken and collapsed after I sat on it and I fell into the wall. Chair was replaced but no one asked how I was. Meal was good but generally the customer service was poor.
The food was amazing and was sad that I was too full to try the awesome looking desserts. The only minor complaint was that my partner and I were eating at restaurant to celebrate my birthday. I believe the special occasion was mentioned when making reservations and also when we checked in, but we received no mention or no "special" treat. Not a huge deal, but a suggestion is to have some kind of recognition when someone is celebrating a special occasion:).
A really good/easy improvement would be a visual barrier between the dining room and kitchen. The kitchen lights are insanely bright which impacts the overall ambiance. Otherwise all good
Such a diversity of dinner options. We each got a different dish and they were all fantastic.
Delicious food and fantastic service. A lovely evening. Unique dishes.
Can't say enough about the food and staff. Both were casual not stuffy but elegantly presented and taste was amazing. The desserts were not only beautiful but delicious. Definitely recommend and will go back next time in town.
Unbelievable food and ambiance!
Must-go-place!
Thought the tables were pretty close considering the requirements and the occupancy was over 50%. But service was good and the food was very good.
The desserts were the best!
Natalie was a great server and all the service was quick and all details attended to...must try a dessert whether you're a dessert eater or not!!!
I've always loved Midpoint. They have changed their menu from a bit Asian/International cuisine to more American - but still have the fabulous calamari. A lovely dining experience!
Once again, my experience at Midpoint was remarkable. Every time i visit, it is like seeing old friends. Curry Sea Bass never disappoints but the dessert creations from Chef Oksana are unrivaled. If you haven’t had the chance to order fantasy desserts from Sweetlife Highlands, i encourage you to do it now! No time like the present! Such a jewel....i always order at least three!
Food and drink were exceptional. Charcuterie board, sea bass and cioppino are all outstanding. Look forward to returning.
The menu had many good options. We all ordered something different and we all loved our dishes. I had the sea bass curry and highly recommend this dish. Save room for dessert. They really are works of art. Our service was exceptional and we were tucked away in a corner. I highly recommend Midpoint Highlands. I can't wait to return!
Great meal and AMAZING dessert both in taste and design
