MidiCi Neapolitan Pizza - Riverside
The service was very good and attentive, the pizza are as close to the authentic Neapolitan pizza, I will definitely go back
Very authentic Italian cuisine. Just got back from Italy a few months ago and this is the closest I’ve had since.
Delivery wasn't well staged with appetizers and salads on top of each other and main course too soon thereafter. Cocktails were not made as ordered. Food was great but we felt pressured such that the experience was not good. We want to dine, not merely eat.
The food was amazing!! We had the Bacon and egg pizza and the double pepperoni and both were absolutely delicious!! The meat board was also great. Definitely a great place to eat. The only thing that kept it from a 5 star was the wait time. It took almost a hour to get our pizza and it definitely was not overly busy. Now, I may be too picky on this as I do not know what exactly goes into making this amazing pizza, it may take that long, but it seemed excessive. Regardless, I can’t wait to take my wife (my son and I visited). I cannot recommended it enough... just make sure you map out a 1 1/2 hour to 2 hour visit.
Came here for mothers day. Service was excellent and so was food. They also gave us a free nutella calzone for mothers day! Will definitely return.
When we got there on Saturday around 12:45PM, it looked a little empty, but, people kept coming in. So, by the time we left there, there were number of people eating. The food was really good. I really enjoyed their food. the server was very attentive.
Awesome pizza and service!! Will return for sure!
I would but I would warn them that the wait staff is very slow and everyone seemed new. It was Valentines Day but not crowded. Took an hour to get drinks and appetizer. Waitress had trouble with orders and the 5 other tables that were in our area all seemed to have the same issue. When our main course came out, my husbands came first and we waited 20 minutes before the other two entree’s came out. It was a good thing he ordered just a salad-didn’t have to worry about it getting cold.
Foods good but it took about 10 min to be seated, 20 min to order and 45 min to get our food.
Amazing Neapolitan pizza! The restaurant is gorgeous and the bar and pizza oven are amazing! The service was wonderful and all of our meals were delicious (pizzas, meat board, calzone, meatballs-yum!)
Immediate seating was available, ordered the homemade meatballs for an app, they were awesome. Had the Ministrone soup, Tomatoes Basil soup, build your own pizzas, truffle calzone and finished with a Nutella and berries calzone everything was delicious, tomatoe soup should have been hotter, but tasted great. Hope this place makes it, great food, friendly staff, all at a fair price.
Food was delicious and our waiter was super helpful and friendly!
Service was terrible. Took over 10 minutes before the hostess that sat us realized that we hadn't been talked to by any server. Once our server came and took our drink and meal order, it took 15-20 minutes for the hostess to bring us our drinks. Food arrived shortly afterwards. We got a calzone and the mac and 3 cheese to share. Calzone was good. The mac and cheese was okay, but the cheese sauce broke apart and was very oily and somewhat gritty.
Willing to give them a second chance as I had heard great reviews about them in the past, but very disappointed with our first visit.
Great food and prompt service , we went there for our Holiday dinner and had a great time !
I ordered a pizza with salami and mushroom. It was spicy and delicious. My husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs. As an Italian whose mother was an phenomenal cook, he is very critical of restaurant Italian food. Well, he loved it. The sauce was tangy and savory. The meatballs were tender and delicious. Most places serve rubbery meatballs, which are always a disappointment.
We also had a wonderful tangerine hazy IPA. I loved it, as it only hinted at the tangerine....perfect!
Service was very accommodating, friendly, and informative.
The restaurant was not crowded. I was surprised as it was a Saturday night.
I love this place! I will definitely be back.
Super great food, drink, staff and ambiance! Modern restaurant with old world Italian foods cooked to perfection in a wood fired oven. The Nutella Calzone is to die for, a perfect blend of fresh berries and Nutella baked into a calzone, AMAZING!
Absolutely the best gluten free pizza I have ever had!! And believe me I have tried many!!!!!! Everything g is so fresh and flavorful!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Worst possible service ever. Waitress could not be more rude and "disabled". Tables were dirty, food came rather slow, and seating was awful. Would not recommend to my worst enemy!
Food and service were good but you can tell it was a new restaurant and there were kinks that needed to be worked out. We will go back for dinner in a few months to see how they have improved.
Great potential, but a bit rough right now. The food promises to be really good, once their kitchen to table process improves. The owner accepted responsibility and seemed thankful for practical suggestions. I will absolutely give MidiCi another chance. I ❤️ wood fired pizza!
It’s new, it’s close and it’s amazing. The serves are upbeat (especially Alyssa), they know the menu and the kitchen staff are creative. Love the food, love the vibe and know it’s certainly at the top of the favorite list.
This place has great potential! The service and food need some serious upgrades. I know the proprietors are new to the restaurant biz, so hiring a GM would be a great start to meet the potential this location has
MidiCi is a great new place. The pizza is perfection. Decor is clean and modern. Service is friendly and attentive. I hope it sticks around, I definitely will go back.
