MidiCi House or The Caesar
Whole shrimps sautéed in garlic, extra virgin olive oil and unsalted butter or our house made Italian tomato sauce with spaghetti and finished with parsley
We ordered pizzas and two pasta dishes. THe bolognese was delicious as were the pizzas.
Food was tasty, fresh and fast. Our app portions were small; not enough prosciutto for the buratta..
Service could improve as our waiter heeded a few reminders.
But overall, I’d def go again, soon!
First time for a group of four people to this restaurant and all of us were in agreement that the food was very good as was the service. The noise level was a little high but not so much that you could not carry conversation. The owner came by and greeted every table and was extremely pleasant.
The chicken parm had really no flavor
Food was amazing! Brian was funny and welcoming! Cooked us up a great mushroom dish! Really fun place
Food is inconsistent. For example, we went to Medici about 6 weeks ago and I fell in love with seafood pasta with white sauce and angel hair pasta. It was buttery, garlicky and had a hint of lemon. The shrimp and scallops were done perfectly.
Last night, we went because I was craving this delicious meal again. The scallops were overdone (rubbery), the sauce was overwhelmed with lemon and the garlic was, well….where was the garlic? It was disguised in all the lemon juice. I was told they didn’t have angel hair pasta but did have spaghetti, which is thin and about the same. I ordered the dish with spaghetti, which was fine but is certainly not about the same as angel hair pasta.
I feel that when you go to a restaurant for an item that is on the regular menu, it should be the same, every time.
Seating: tables for 2 are very small and get crowded very quickly. A glass of water, a glass of wine, and your meal fit with no room to spare. We were seated at a table with one straight back chair and one very cushiony wing back chair. The wing back chair, while very comfortable for relaxing with a drink is not at all conducive to sitting at the table for your meal. I sat at the edge of the chair in order to reach the table.
The “specials” menu was stained with a ring, most likely from a beverage. It’s on printed paper and given the COVID situation should be tossed after each “use”, in my humble opinion. It left me to wonder about sanitary procedures.
On a positive note….Our server, Madison, was wonderful.
My waitress brought our drinks like 20minutes after we ordered them, it took forever for our meals.
Soggy Pizza, waiter handed our appetizers over the railing to us. We had to get our own plates, and get my beer. Very disappointing
This was our 2nd visit here. We were seated immediately because we had reservations. I reserved a hightop table for 2, we were sat at one that held 12 people, which was ok , the waitress who seated us advised that the flatware was being washed, and we would have it soon. A few minutes later she then took our drink order, and we ordered our food at the same time. The place was about 50% capacity with 12 employees working in the front of the house. Our drinks were delivered in a timely fashion. Eventually dinner was served, the server asked if we needed anything else. We had to ask for the flatware that was blatantly missing from the table.
The flatware was delivered in under 5 minutes.
We ordered the Chicken Parmigiano, the pasta was a bit under al dente, and wasn't served hot but more a lukewarm, the pasta sauce was a bit watery. The chicken that was served was cooked well, and the portion was a good size.
I ordered the Chicken Pesto pizza. Overall the taste was good, however it could have had more than 8 small pieces of chicken on it, also the pizza crust in the middle of the pizza was paper thin.
One point of constructive criticism, when you walk in, you're greeted with such an amazing aroma of garlic and basil and other wonderful smelling ingredients that are fresh. It would be a tip of the hat that a restaurant that has so many fresh and cooked to order ingredients would offer freshly grated Parmigian cheese instead of the kind that you can purchase at a supermarket.
6 of us had dinner for the first time here; it won’t be our last!
Our waitress, Stacy, was the best! She never rushed us, was pleasant and attentive!
Food was delicious! When one of the baked chicken parm dishes was a bit too tough to eat, the owner came right over, apologized, brought a complimentary pizza and before long, a fresh order of the chicken parm!
We enjoyed our evening very much!
Food was excellent and timely delivered to our table.
I ordered Mushroom and Truffle Calzone received Pizza with Procutto and Argula Waitress said that is what you ordered Very disappointing
We love it.
Friendly warm atmosphere ! Nice place for group!!!
A great Saturday night experience with the family! Simple ingredients, excellent food, and welcoming atmosphere! Food cooked perfectly and a go-to restaurant!
Great service! Owner took time to visit all tables. Food was good too😊
We had the best night! The drinks and food were both amazing! The owner was so nice to chat with and he made sure our food and drinks were good. Highly recommend!
Definitely try the chicken parm. Had the pasta with Alfredo sauce...it was amazing. Hubbies had the penee with pulled pork. Equally delicious. Good portions no room for dessert
My wife and I enjoyed our night out very much. We will go again.
I’m not the type to complain about my food, but it was disgusting. I told the server and she took my meal away. Didn’t offer to make me anything else, instead just took 10$ off my bill. Doesn’t even make sense considering i didnt even eat any of my meal as it was not edible. Server was nice but clearly the manager needs to get their act together.
Food was great as usual
Enjoyed our dinner at MidiCi. Service was good - our server was kind and patient with our questions and speed of ordering. The food was great. We started with the meat platter - all four meats were great with the toasted bread and spicy mustard. The truffle and veggie pizza was awesome. We finished with the Lemoncillo cake - that was the perfect amount of lemon. We will be dining again at MidiCi.
Always a great meal!!
It was our first visit and certainly will not be our last. We choose appetizers to share as our meals this evening. Everything came out very visually appealing and tasted just as expected. Fair warning of mustard on the meat board packs quite the punch. We will try pizza next time.
Great food and great service. Everything is made with fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Owner, bartender, food and atmosphere are nothing but absolutely amazing!
I reserve my judgement till the next visit.
We had an issue and the manager handled it perfectly. Also
Waitress was late (very) getting to the table but as it turned out she was a very good waitress by the end of the night .
Food was very good once my order was corrected
They deserve another visit and a chance at a better than average rateing
Their Pizza is outstanding and dining is in a very relaxed environment.
Food was amazing but service was terrible. Was waiting for 20 minutes for the waitress to bring us the check and boxes for our food
This was our first time eating here, and we had a wonderful experience. The owner Brian is very personalable and has an obvious passion for food and making sure that his guests have a great dining experience. The food and drinks were fantastic and the ambiance is warm and relaxing. I highly recommend this restaurant.
It is always pleasant and Brian is great, service was very good
Pizza and salad, so delish! The whole staff was great! Watermelon cream soda was also really yummy! Definitely will be back to work through the menu!
Once again MidiCi did not disappoint. We happened to to find this gem before covid when we couldn’t get in to the restaurant next door and it was and is one of our favorites! The waitstaff was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was laid back and eclectic. Love the different table heights. The chef/owner comes around and actually talks to you, mind blown!!!! And the food knocks it out of the park! Cannot say enough good about this place!!!
Midici never disappoints!
Food and service are out of this world!
Keep up the great work!!! These owners treat employees so well and you can see if in the service and the atmosphere. One of our favorite places!
The food was delicious and delivered in a timely manner. Sarah our server was absolutely fantastic! We will be be back!
I bring visitors here often as the food and drinks are great, especially the Devil's Margarita and the Woodfired Spinach Salad. Prices are good and the atmosphere is casual. Easy place to have a business conversation or a family catch up. Owner, Brian, and the staff are very personable too
Good value, nice vibe. Surprised it was so slow though for a Saturday night. I think more comfortable seating options would make a more enjoyable experience.
Excellent blackberry margarita. Bacon and egg pizza . Very good charcuterie meat board. Loved it all. Good value. Nice owner Brian attentive to all customers.
It's the same thing every time we go here, the food is good and the service is ridiculously slow. You are lucky to see your server once every 25m or so. This is a consistent and systemic problem.
Always a good meal and amazing service!
