   We had a wonderful dinner last night at Mida. We got seated maybe 10 minutes after our reservation time and we were brought bread and appetizers on the house immediately. Our server Jessie was amazing. Never missed a beat and made our daughters birthday really special with a few lovely gestures! (champagne and dessert!)

   Despite having a reservation we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. The food was fine, but expensive considering the quality. The ambience was very loud and we had to yell to each other across our 2 seater high-top.

   Had a great dinner. All of our drinks and meals were delicious, the service was great, and the focaccia bread (a side, but we got it as an appetizer) was one of the best focaccia breads any of us had ever had. Highly recommend!

   The staff was welcoming and efficient. The service was helpful and attentive. The food was wonderful; the bread fresh and warm, the wine good, the pasta delicious and the polenta with honey, gorgonzola and lemon a real treat. It was a busy night the tables were close and the noise level high. These seemed minor negative points since the staff was so kind., the food good and the prices fair, I will defiantly visit again.

   I would highly recommend Mida to anyone looking for Italian in Boston. The restaurant is cozy and vibrant. It has a lovely neighborhood feel. The food is outstanding! Loved the short rib lasagna. The service was impeccable and they tolerated us bring our small kids- although I wouldn’t recommend bringing kids at this location. It is more for a nice meal out for a date night. This was a highlight of our trip to Boston!

   Outstanding food, best Italian food I've had in Boston hands down. The roasted chicken with risotto is the best thing on the menu, but you really can't go wrong.

    Standard "red sauce" fare taken to the next level; really flavorful quality dishes reasonably priced. Service was excellent and the room had a great vibe. Will definitely come back.

    Wonderful, accommodating staff who work as a team. Food was absolutely delicious. Go with the short rib lasagna for sure! The wine selection is special as well. Will most definitely be coming back!

    We were happy to be back to Mida after 2yrs of covid absence. We were there on a Monday evening and the place was buzzing but there were no delays in staff attention. Food was excellent as is the service.

    We had a late (9:45pm) reservation, so we should have expected that food may not be particularly fresh. I’ve had the lasagna a couple times before and loved it but it was dry last night. The service was good with the exception that they served all the food at once- bread, starters, entrees. Perhaps the entrees were dry because they sat while we ate the appetizers…

    Wonderful and memorable experience sitting at the hightop chef table enjoying delicious Italian cuisine. Service was welcoming and friendly giving one the feeling of being appreciated. Arancini and duck wing appetizers made for a great start to our BUCATINI ALL AMATRICIANA and SPACCATELLI AL PESTO pasta dishes. Fresh pasta and great service on Tremont in the South End. We skipped desert, but I am sure it would have made for a nice ending.

    An excellent visit to Mida as always. Food, drinks, and service were all spectacular. Short rib lasagna and the cacio e pepe gnocchi are two favorites! Don’t forget the focaccia and polenta as well!

    My daughter who attends college in Boston recommended this place. We took her and a friend for dinner. Our server Jessica was AMAZING! We had arancini, duck wings, gnocchi and the lasagna. The food was also amazing. I recommend trying this place out.

    The food was a bit salty but good. Our server was outstanding. She new the menu and was very knowledgeable about the wines that we chose. Felt that the tables were too close together. When I was leaving, I bumped the table next to me. There was about a foot between tables.

    Went for mangia Monday. Pasta was fabulous but they totally rushed the food, delivering 3 of pasta dishes before we had even finished our cocktails! We were done in 1 hour. Too bad as everything else was great! Friendly server, good vibe….

    A little bit of a wait for our table but that was mitigated by the wonderful service and mixed drinks at the bar from Cheyenne. Try the Secret Garden and Bourbon Splash. We had the Carbonara, Roasted Chicken (X2) and the Shortrib Lasagna. All wonderful! 3 complimentary deserts followed because of our short wait BUT again this is unnecessary but goes towards the level of service. Overall wonderful experience...recommend wholeheartedly.

    Our experience was by no means entirely unpleasant. The mussels we shared as an appetizer were very good as was the broth they were served in. The bread that accompanied that course was also good and plentiful. However, we found both of our pasta dishes to be disappointing. We thought the sauces were too sweet - they both suggested the presence of an overabundance of tomato paste - and the amount of sauce overwhelmed the pasta. In addition, the pasta was somewhat overcooked. For that quality, the prices seem excessive, as they are for the wines by the glass. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, not someplace we would choose to dine again.
