MIDA is a South End neighborhood restaurant, inspired by the simplicity of classic Italian dishes . Our menu focuses on many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Dinner is served Monday - Thursday, and Sundays from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Patio reservations are available on a same day first come basis only. Please call the restaurant to secure patio seating. Patio availability is dependent on weather. Walk-ins are always welcome.

                              We were promptly seated and approached by a server but our server seemed a little grumpy/to be having a bad day at work. They didn’t smile at all from start to finish and sounded terse. Drinks were great but both of our entrees were quite salty, especially the mushroom risotto with chicken. We still ate most of our food because the flavours were otherwise solid. We were also seated in a really warm corner which made us very uncomfortable. However, a lot of people seemed to be having a good time so we will probably go back again.

                              Loved the burrata and everything else was okay. Hate the rule that makes you order everything all at once. We will not be returning.

                              Hi, I am not new to Mida Rest, however on this visit I was not as pleased with the food served or the smug waiter. The chicken breast/risotto dinner was tasty but the breast was somewhat dry. The cesar salad dressing was flavorless which made the cesar salad almost tasteless. I asked the waiter for his name as he did not introduce himself after we were seated. He kind of made fun of it. I added that he was not wearing a name tag so I wanted to know who was serving us. He responded that he would never wear a name tag or work at a place that would require him to. I was offended because in my line of work a name tag was a part of the service experience as was his. Then I thought maybe it was part of Gen Z belief system. Times are changing!

                              We had a wonderful time! Everything was delicious. The duck wings, carrots, polenta, were all amazing and the salmon and eggplant parm were so yummy. Service was excellent!!

                              Great food great service- we had to wait a bit for food sfter ordering but were given an app to share. Had gnocci, parpadelle, roasted chicken, focaccia and the free caesar. Amazing. Seating outside is near hospital so noise level was somewhat loud. And a few passerbys asked us for money. Rexommdation: bring people you like to hang with in case of a lingering wait-but totally worth it.

                              Absolutely our favorite restaurant in the South End. Wine selection good, appetizers of calamari and burrata excellent! Entrees exceptional! Bolognese, Cod Piccata, and lasagna! Love love love!

                              Amazing intimate restaurant with attentive service and equally delicious food. Caesar salad was rustic in a good way, gnocchi was heavenly, and they have my favorite liqueur, Italicus! The tiramisu is uniquely presented and amazing. Perfect spot for an understated anniversary dinner. Thank you, Mida!

                              We were told to order the entire meal at once (apps and meal same time) pure laziness. We didn’t not get to enjoy our food, food was rushed out and by the time we got to the entrée it was cold. It was a rush serve and ti get us out fast. So sad. Usually an amazing experience. Not the same place anymore. Horrible experience
