   Rose and the MIDA team gave us stellar service last night for our first Mangia Monday. We were wowed by the variety of shared dishes starting with toasty crumbs and bright mint flavor in the salad. Our eggplant pasta dish was cool/room temp so we sent the second back for more heat and the servers handled this perfectly! All subsequent dishes were perfectly hot. The wine list reads like an atlas of Italy. Thanks for a great night!

   Amazing delicious 10/10 was amazing! We had the short rib lasagna, duck wings, and arancini—everything was so flavorful. Great cocktails, super attentive service, and a perfect vibe. It’s officially our new date night go-to.

   I have been to MIDA 4 times now and the food is delicious. I get a different dish every time I go. I am working my way through the menus. Love this place.

   Such a disappointing meal. My son and I were visiting Boston, and we were looking forward to this reservation. We arrived very early at 5:25, and there were only 2 other tables and 2 people at the bar. We ordered the Mangia Monday and selected 5 pastas. I also ordered a cocktail. The salads and bread came quickly, and in 30 mins, our first two pastas arrived. I still didn’t have my drink and reminded the waiter. It came another 10 mins later. And then we waited almost an hour for our next two pastas. It was insane. And we never got our fifth pasta, despite reminding the waiter that we didn’t have it yet. After sitting for two hours, we were over it and told the waiter to cancel the last one. He comped me cocktail, but frankly, it really wasn’t a solution. I do not recommend this restaurant. Some of the pastas were tasty, but they weren’t cooked well. We couldn’t eat a quarter of the mushroom pasta because the noodles were clumped into a hard rock. There’s no excuse for that at an Italian restaurant, and it also signaled poor quality control. The worst of it was that they had plenty of staff, and someone who appeared to be a manager was in front of the kitchen window the entire time and monitoring tickets. Still we had such a problem getting our food. For a little more perspective, a six top table came in 45 mins after us and finished 20 mins before we left. A four top next to us came in an hour after and was casually having dessert and coffee while we were still waiting for entrees.

   Great food and very friendly service. Always love coming here. Small neighborhood restaurant. I’ll be back again soon.

   Always an excellent meal at Mida! Today it was brunch. We got savory meals and split the Lemon Ricotta pancakes for dessert! Divine!

    I had a casual birthday celebration with my friends today. I love the food and vibe! The interior setting is lovely and staff are friendly.
