   Radicchio salad very well done. Paccheri with chicken sugo really delicious. Budino so unique (and good). This bring our fourth visit, the constant burnt pizza smell is distracting from the fragrance of other dishes, and it leaves with you on your clothing.

   The service was excellent. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Drinks and food come fast. The food was not impressive. Both pasta dishes such as lasagna and pappardelle with mushrooms came extremely dry. I believe they were cooked earlier and just reheated. Possibly stayed under the heating lamp for a while. The sauce was too salty and vinegary. We didn’t eat even a half of our dishes. The cooks behind the counter are a bunch of young guys who most likely don’t have any cooking experience. The dinner didn’t worth the money spent. Definitely we do not give this place a second chance.

   Really enjoyed our experience at MIDA for Dineout Boston. Service and food are always very good here. They've done a great job with sound mitigation, as the restaurant is full and lively, but the noise level is not excessive.

   Second time at MIDA for dinner, and we were very disappointed with the food taste. Our first-time experience 3 months ago was much, much tastier.

   Everything was impeccable. At one point someone stopped over and said “do you have everything that you currently desire?” and we were in heaven. All around a wonderful evening out.

    We were unintentionally here on Dine Out Boston week, so maybe that impacted it, but service was bumpy, felt a little ignored, and then a little rushed. Food was good but wasn't overly impressive. Not what I was expecting since I've seen such good things about Mida. I'd try it again since I liked the space and it was a nice vibe for a weeknight dinner with a friend, but was a little disappointed.

    We had a terrific "Restaurant Week" lunch... delicious, unusual and filling. We all had additional meals at home😀. The restaurant is airy and comfortable. The service was really above great!

    The service was terrific. His name was Jordan S. Atleast thats what was on the receipt. He was great. Arancini was solid Prosciutto was extremely dry Chicken parm had bad breading, too sloppy on that bun and sauce tasted like soapy water. I didn’t eat more than 2 bites. There was so much left my server said “you want that togo”. I said no thanks. “He said you sure, everything okay?” I said yes. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. Very disappointing. He was great though.

    We have been big supporters of Mida in Boston. Great atmosphere and food was very good. Newton just doesn't bring the same vibe or quality of food. I got the mushroom pasta and it was bland, not good. Overall atmosphere is just ok. Food is expensive and there are just better options for this price. Sad to say, as I love Boston Mida. Maybe just a bad night.

    Our first time here & we enjoyed the evening. Our server paced corses in an appropriate un pressured way. Our orders were served hot, food was light, interesting beyond ordinary and delicious with the one exception that were not a fan of their Caesar salad dressing. The ambience in this popular busy restaurant created an enjoyable white noise background that allowed easy conversation at our table of 4. More than satisfied & definitely now on our list of repeat options!

    Very nice to see a lunch menu finally. Small selection but what I had was excellent. I tried the crispy chicken which came with the salad. My friend ordered a pizza which was too salty for her and not terribly interesting. It was a pepperoni. The service was mediocre. The waiter had to be called too often when he should’ve just checked in with us.

    Having been to the S End location of Mida, I recently enjoyed dinner at the Newton location. The service was uniformly excellent, from the bartender and other staff at the bar, to the servers. The wine was very good value and the bartender let me try a couple before choosing one. The focaccia and mussel appetizers were also great and there was plenty of bread to enjoy with the sauce that came with the mussels. My one disappointment was that my main dish--a rock shrimp and pasta dish--was way too heavily salted; to the point where I could only eat half of it. I took the rest home and literally watered it down to dilute the salt when I had the reminder for lunch the next day. Still, given my excellent experiences at the S. End Mida (been there twice), I would give this brighter, newer and larger version another try.

    We really like this place. My husband and I are addicted to the sausage pizza, which is nice and spicy. And my son loves the Bucatini! 😊 Love the modern, spacious decor as well.

    Excellent misto salad and tiramisu. We had smoked brisket lasagna and eggplant parm…they looked identical and tasted pretty much the same as well. Server was pleasant but not particularly attentive and didn’t seem comfortable making recommendations. Nice room.

    Had dinner with my wife, there was a lot of chatter going on, the music was low enough to not interrupt, but due to the chatter, we needed to raise our voices a bit more that usual to communicate, we were seating across from each other. The food was delicious, the bread was my favorite part.

    The environment is bright and attractive and the food is very good. We recommend the crispy chicken sandwich and the Mida smash for brunch with the homemade biscuits and jam. The drinks are very good.

    Our meal last night was excellent as every meal has been. As usual, the service was top notch. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert. It was not the traditional format, but delicious. The only thing that was distracting was the noise level. The music seemed to increase the noise level. It might be interesting to turn down the music and see if the noise is reduced.

    Lovely place. Sat at the bar and the service was excellent. Great recommendations from the bartender. pistachio salad was outstanding. Enjoyed gnocchi and the pizza. I’ll definitely be back!

    I’ve been wanting to dine here for a while and was able to celebrate my birthday with a wonderful dinner. Arancini a must. Fresh pasta dishes - all were amazing and just the right portion to fill the belly full. Amazing food, creative and excellent drink list including delicious mocktails. And the night was topped it off with a surprise tiramisu that came complementary. Nice design and clean open interiors and lighting Will be back!!

    We arrived on time but our table was not ready. Service was slow but when our waiter finally came over we were rushed to order our entire meal. We were rushed out of the restaurant as our waiter cleared our table if everything EVEN our water glasses. It didn’t feel good to be rushed.

    ill never go back and not only was it a terrible experience . when i got the check it had ad 2% " kitchen appreciation fee" on the check. now I'm not saying they don't deserve appreciation but to pass that fee off to the customer is insane. you, as the owner should appreciate your employees and not ask us to subsidize their pay. I already paid enough for your overpriced food with bland taste. ill never return and tell everybody and anybody who asks.... your not the government you don't have the right to tax us 2% because u don't pay your kitchen help enough shame on you for continuing to deteriorate the eating out experience

    Was told my pizza would be served a little before my girlfriend’s gnocchi. She basically finished her dinner before mine even showed up. Waitress was inattentive and slow. Asked for the check and a box for my food. Was given the box but waited 10 more minutes for the check. Good food, mid-service. Expect to spend a lot of time waiting
