MIDA by Chef Douglass William's is now open on East Boston's waterfront. Our James Beard Nominated restaurant group is situated directly on the edge of the pier with panoramic views of the downtown Boston Skyline. The restaurant is surrounded by the water on three sides with a massive patio that is perfect for date night and large groups at all hours of the day. The service was phenomenal! Only matched by the incredible food. Then there is the view. All worked in perfect harmony. Gunner was our server, the lasagna was recommended and worth every bite. Thank you! I will definitely be back ( probably tomorrow 😂)

I love Mida. However, the service was subpar last night. I requested a seat with an ocean view because I was dining with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We were seated in a section that felt like a regular night out. We also had two waiters at one point which was weird. It would be great for customers to know upon arrival if accommodations cannot be met.

Mida was fantastic tonight- we were a little early for our reservation- after a minute of indecision by the hostess. It worked out to get to our table. From there everything was incredible. My mom didn’t like the wine she ordered and they brought something eat better- meatballs, prosciutto and ricotta app was amazing, salmon, roast chicken, and lasagna all amazing! Highly recommend!

Beautiful view and wonderful people working here! Matt Magrath served us and made our 1st dinner in Boston a memorable evening. He recommended the right appetizer (Arancini) and main piatti (eggplant parmigiana and a pasta dish) were delicious. The quality of food was superb., and Matt’s wine suggestions were also spot on with what we were having. On the way out, we met yet another friendly greeter, Seth, who we learned is one of the owners there. We’ll come back!
