Consistently excellent food. Mida has THE BEST PIATTO DI ANTIPASTI in the city of Boston. For $25 it has so much and such variety. Always beautiful food and professional, comfortable service.

Fantastic service. We were able to be seated a bit early instead of standing outside in the cold and were offered bread as we waited for the remainder of our party.

Menu is limited. Short rib lasagna had burned corners. Came out faster than expected. Salad with pistachios was refreshingly different. Service was spectacular.

Mida was absolutely wonderful. From the service down to the food. I’m definitely returning.

We came here because we had seen MIDA on Phantom Gourmet. It looked wonderful and it was from the appetizer to dessert and coffee. The staff was awesome, very professional, warm and knowledgeable about the menu. Restaurant is small and cozy.

Covid-era review. It was empty upon our arrival at 6:30 on a weeknight, but quickly "filled". Our servers were welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent, from appetizers through dessert. The roasted chicken with smoked fregola was a standout.

Great local south end spot. Fantastic curated menu and a chic, modern interior. The gem salad, bucatini and paccheri are stand outs.

Mida never disappoints. Amazing food and drinks and the staff is so nice. Wonderful date night spot, as well.

Staff was amazing and the food was delicious! Every person we encountered was so happy and had great recommendations. They went out of their way to make our birthday dinner celebration extra special. Will definitely be returning!

Hands down best italian food I’ve ever had, and that says a lot because I’m italian and have been to so many restaurants that don’t make pasta like my family does. Every item we ate was incredible.

I was very excited to try this establishment based on reviews but I was very disappointed. The muscles and arancini were pretty good, but the entrees were so salty, and not authentic Italian at all. I understand corona makes things different, but I felt like I was on a double date with the people directly next to us with a clear divider. We had multiple servers, had to ask for bread, wait to be asked for more wine with my meal, and after spending $200 the check was slapped down on the table without any warning we were nearing our time limit, or even asking if we wanted desert.

This is the best spot in Boston hands down. The service is incredible, shout out to Cheyenne (I hope I spelled that right) she always makes us feel so at home. I’m a creature of habit and tend to stick to the same dishes, and every time I order my favorite pasta dish it’s as delicious as it was the first time I ordered it there. I think consistency speaks volumes about the quality of a restaurants dishes. I could go on and on, but this again the BEST spot in the city.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Food was off the charts excellent and the staff were efficient and friendly. Please try this so we can keep this restaurant open during and after COVID. Oh and the cleanliness was excellent too - we felt very safe.

Appetizers were good— we ordered the arancini and the garlic focaccia. Super tasty and well made. Entrees were a disappointment. We ordered the cacio e pepe gnocchi— an unremarkable plate with unpleasant presentation and a mealy sauce. Short rib lasagna wasn’t terrible, but it was drowned in a thick red sauce that made the dish much heavier than it needed to be. Its highlight was the interesting smoky flavor from the short rib. For dessert we shared the sweet cream gelato which was perfect and came with a drizzle of olive oil on top—nice touch. I would come back for apps and drinks, but very disappointed with the mains. Cute ambiance, perfect for date night.

We had a great time! Nice to be out in the city again, and Mida made you feel very safe and welcome while still providing a fun, relaxed, delicious environment. If you are looking to get out and about during these trying times, give Mida a shot. You will not be dissappointed.

Highly recommend! Unique twist on Italian that was extremely flavorful and the perfect portion sizes. The service was fast and attentive. Delicious cocktails and good wine list as well. Great bang for your buck with this restaurant. Perfect for a date night.

This place has a very nice calm ambiance. The food is amazing and drinks are strong. Is definitely a spot to try.

Second time back to MIDA, still impressed me. We were told by friends to visit on a Monday for the pasta event they had held here and so we did. Our server, who was awesome, didn’t mention the event so we assumed due to covid it wasn’t an option. We had a spectacular meal with lovely wine, our kids loved their pasta too. As we left we did hear the pasta event being offered to a different table so we were a little disappointed it wasn’t mentioned, but we accept we didn’t ask about it either. We plan on returning!
