Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
My first time going. I ordered a drink and realized I really didn't like it. Just my own personal taste. I spoke with the server and with out any unpleasantness was able to get me something I enjoyed drinking.
The service was great. Catered to whatever we needed. Felt very spoiled by the end if the night. Worth every penny;)
Just like old No 7 this place is outstanding! Service is first class, food was exceptional, a very cool vibe in the restaurant, and a fantastic wine list. A great steak house is my guilty pleasure and Mickey Mantels is as good as I have been to. I will be back and I hear the Lamb chop app is something to try so that's on my list! Until next time.
Very pleasant experience. The setting is casual elegance and the pace matches. A leisurely dinner with attentive and knowledgeable service, very helpful with explanations of preparation and unfamiliar wines. Steakhouse menus are not generally innovative but the we sampled two appetizers and a salad and sides with our steaks. All were well prepared -- the chef is not too proud to serve a well-done steak that is still juicy. A very pleasant experience topped off with a shared dessert and complimentary port. You can't go wrong here.
My new husband and I eloped this past weekend. We went to Mickey Mantels afterwards for dinner. They were so amazing to us! The food was great the service by Michah was just as excellent!! Thank you to everyone at Mickey Mantel's for treating us so wonderful on our special day! By the way the steaks are to die for!!!
Always our favorite. We travel many miles out of our way to dine here as often as possible since we live about 1500 miles away. The bar is amazing, location in Brick-Town is perfect, and the menu is the best we have ever found. 28 oz bone-in ribeye is a favorite but always have to share lobster with it. Wagyu is amazing especially topped off with chocolate cake.
Lobster cargot! We always get it and could literally make a meal of it, tonight we had 3 orders between my wife and two girls 4&8.. the filet was great my girls loved it as did my wife and I, service is awesome and we have tried every prime steak house in okc and Mickey Mantle’s is by far the best and our favorite..
As a group of three , this was our first experience of dining at Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse. It was delightful on all levels. I was especially impressed with the waitstaff. Because we were bringing a friend from out of state (New York), I did not expect a special vegetarian menu...it was Delicious!
Thank you for an unforgettably memorable evening.
Their seafood salad is the absolute best in OKC! It's well worth the try. The filets are our favorite steaks... and their Colorado rack of lamb is one of the best around town! Their desserts have improved a great deal in the last year; they are well worth eating.
Max was our server- and did an outstanding job.
Their General manager, Aaron is very hospitable and goes out of
his way to make you feel welcome!!
We had a friend visiting from Austrailia and wanted a good steak place. He enjoyed Mickey Mantle’s better than Cattlemen’s that we took him to last year. We particularly liked the additional cooking choices for steak that had charred options. It was all melt-in-your-mouth delicious! And the pecan pie was quite an indulgence. Make sure you have someone to share it with.
The service was good. My wife’s scallops were very good. The calamari app was good. Both our salads were very good. My wife’s seafood salad was particularly good. I had the 10 0z filet. It was very well flavored, but extremely tough. I should have sent it back. Hard to cut even with steak knife. I am used to filets that you can almost cut with your fork. This one was tougher than a sirloin steak.
For the upscale dining that we had I found it to be very loud. This may have been the croud that night or our particular seating, but it was to loud and made quiet conversation almost impossible. The waiter was very good, the food was excellent (a bit pricey), and the wine director was absolutely fantastic. his recomendation for my wifes needs and taste was spot on and greatly appreciated.
Very Loud we had to practically yell at each other to hear. Noisiest restaurant I have ever been to...
Food was good but not GREAT, as it should have been for the prices. steak for $50 comes with salad or soup and meat (no side.....they are extra cost). 2 of the steaks ordered were undercooked, decent taste but again not fantastic.
Waiter had a bit of an attitude - snobbish.
Will not return, was not a good experience - I can go to much better places and spend $320.
Drove from Texas to meet my son for his birthday. Many Internet sites reported MM as the best steak in OKC. After conferring with server to determine best steak to order, we settled on the big Prime bone-in ribeye. I have had MANY prime steaks. If this was really Prime, then it was the worst Prime I have ever had. Service was excellent but not going back.
