This was our first time dining at Michael's. Nate was our server and he figured it out right a way that we were looking to sit and relax to enjoy our evening. He was extremely well knowledgeable of the menu and specials, he took very good care of us. The GM Lindsay was making regular rounds and making sure all the tables were taken care of. We recognized her from another restaurant where she was the manager and was over joyied to see she was at Michael's.

My mother was visiting from out of state and wanted to come here. They didn't have octopus that was shown online as they said it was seasonal. Only suggestion would be to update their menu to reflect what they are currently serving. Overall the food was great and presentation was amazing. There was a mixup on a dish but the manager addressed it promptly and professionally and was pleased with the solution. Would definitely try again!

Start to finish, our evening at Michael's was one of the best dining experiences we've had. The service was personalized, there was attention to detail, the chef customized the menu for us, the food was prepared to perfection, and the wine pairings were well thought-out and unique. You can tell the staff at Michael's takes great pride in their craft and truly want to provide an experience, not just a meal. Chef Tash and Lindsey, the wine coordinator, are at the top of their game and made our night so memorable. Dining at Michael's was so much more than delicious food...our dinner was truly one of the major highlights of our trip and we cannot thank them enough for sharing their gifts with us.

The ambiance was nice. Cool, funky decor. Attentive service. Our average star rating was due to the fact that everything but the asparagus was so salty that it overwhelmed the flavor. True of the cheese plate we shared, both of our steaks, and the truffle fries. The desserts were quite good. It’s hard to pay well over $200 for dinner for two and walk away feeling meh about the food.

Lovely dining experience at Michael’s. Server was knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant. Sommelier was a joy to discuss wine choices with. The food was flavorful and prepared exactly as it should be. Looking forward to dining there again soon. One of the best upscale dining experiences in St. Augustine.

The hanger steak with peppercorn sauce was wonderful. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Wine list was great. Service and ambiance was excellent. A great place for finer dining in St. Augustine.

My husband and I thought the food was underwhelming. We came years ago-before the restaurant had changed the menu and redecorated and at that time we liked it. This time the meals were bland and lacked zest and flavor (except for the shrimp appetizer which was delicious…it the best thing we tried). Would have liked more variety to choose from and it was very pricey for being just ok.

We were celebrating a birthday. The food was excellent - our party of 4 ordered sea bass, chicken, pork chop and wagu beef. All of us really enjoyed our food. Ambiance and service were also great but I’m giving it a 4 because entrees at this price point should at least come with a vegetable / potato. All the sides are ala carte and quite expensive.

Very nice interior with friendly staff. Our waitress was really fantastic. She was knowledgeable and very friendly. The wine list is amazing. It’s page after page after page of wines from around the world. The appetizers were just okay. We had a shrimp dish which was good but not great The bread plate was weird. Pieces of unwarmed bread tied together with string and some olives. Our entrees were very good but definitely pricey! Dessert was really good. All in all I would eat there again given the ambiance and the service as well as the food. The noise level was great and made it easy to have a conversation with our friends

We ordered the Spanish Mushrooms as an appetizer. That was fantastic. There were Minimum choices of entrees and disappointed in the portion size. The Pan Roasted Branzino was half a fish. Photos on their website shows the entire fish cooked on your plate. But it was not given as such. They should update their photos. Misleading Our waiter Doug was fantastic. Very informative and nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal for our anniversary. The menu is not typical which we loved. The soshito peppers and buratta were delicious. My husband devoured the mofongo. As a special treat they gave us a free dessert which was also outstanding. We were seated right aaat and the service was excellent.

Wow. This place never disappoints. Great standards. Started off with some beef tartare and a salmon special. Entrees were the short rib and seabass. Both excellent. Finished with a cheesecake and espresso. Perfect service, incredible food, romantic atmosphere. 5 stars for sure.
