   This restaurant is ran very effectively, servers would come by and ask if we needed anything and another server would come a minute later with whatever we needed. Food was fresh, excellently prepared and seasoned. Sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone for a special occasion or just a high end meal that is worth it by far.

   First time there. Had to cook up the steak a little more 2X but they aim to please. Great, friendly service. We are looking to go back and enjoy this wonderful restaurant again soon! It's on our top 3 list.

    This place is a must while visiting Saint Augustine! Service, food, and the ambience was Five Star plus. Have not been in Saint Augustine in 10 years and this was my wife’s Mother’s Day super price weekend getaway . This was the best experience for my wife and I. The dinner for two with the Tomahawk steak was done to perfection!!!! Our waitress was fantastic! Talk about top class!! We will be back and eat here every time we come back to Saint Augustine and we will be back! You should do the same.

    Once again my expectations were exceeded. I was fortunate enough to be able to get a reservation for a chef's tasting experience with the wine paring. 5 very well done courses with spot on wine parings. I'll be back.

    Romantic restaurant on a lovely street in St. Augustine. Excellent cuisine, I had the filet-which was perfectly prepared. Our server, Oliver, was outstanding. Quiet indoors, with a sweet garden seating outdoors. But, dinner was memorable. Definitely give it 5 stars- and would go again.

    Outstanding Restaurant! Every dish was excellent! Service was amazing! Maggie provided amazing service. We had steak, fish, salad, special appetizer and dessert! Everything was delicious! In addition, the restaurant is not noisy. but still has ambiance. It is nice to be able to have a conversation at a nice restaurant without having to yell.

    Snagged a last-minute reservation here on the recommendation of a shop owner around the corner. The filet was one of the best I’ve had in my lifetime. Side of carrots and wine also delicious. Beautiful space. Overall wonderful experience.

    Feta Tower appetizer was great. Undercooked Beef Wellington, undercooked and oversalted 10oz filet. Our server was very good. The remaining staff were at our table too frequently.

    Birthday …..The restaurant was fantastic and the food stellar and Meagan was a very intuitive server with a great demeanor. Our only comment for improvement is that it was so very costly, we will not return.

    This is my husbands and my favorite special place to eat. We just celebrated our anniversary at Michaels and it was exceptional. Ryan our waiter was very attentive and kind and even surprised us with a glass of champagne which was amazing. I had requested crema brûlée for our dessert ahead of time and it was amazing maybe the best we’ve ever had. We took our 10 year old with us to celebrate and he’s autistic and he raves all the time about this place he even asks for the chef to come out so he can complement them. He has a passion for food! Michaels always delivers the best service and food and never disappoints us!

    We went to Michaels to celebrate my husband’s birthday. He ordered the ten oz. Filet and I had the Tamarind short ribs. Both entres were excellent. We especially liked the truffle fries. The steak entres were a la carte but it should be noted the pricey side dishes are served family style for the table so can be easily shared. The setting was intimate with comfortable chairs. I didn’t like sitting facing the wall, though, and should have asked for a change. The wine list was extensive to the point of almost overwhelming. Service was professional but not overly attentive. This was an expensive meal so we would likely only return for a special occasion. Again, no mention of the birthday. I am not sure why open table asks for this information if the restaurants either aren’t shown it or don’t check.

    My husband and I had a delicious dinner last night at Michael’s, our server was Summer who was so warm ,friendly and helpful My husband had the New York strip and I had the small filet mignon with béarnaise and we shared the incredible whipped potatoes The pineapple upside down tres Leche was unbelievable!!     The food here is outstanding. The vibe is a little off putting. We have eaten in a lot of “fine dining” restaurants and it was a bit of a turn off that the staff here seems to be trying to “justify” their prices and/or convince you that you are going to get a high class experience. No justification is needed-the wine list is incredible-and so is the food. The mushrooms and the flan were both outrageous. The night we went the noise level was quite high-but I doubt it is always that noisy.
