Birthday luncheon
The space, ambiance, and service were great. The food wasn't so great. The food was a bit pricey for the quality. The best thing was the grilled shrimp.
Great brunch on the back deck! Daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there!
sat in the gazebo and enjoyed a wonderful brunch outdoors. The service was great and all of the plates we ordered were wonderful.
We sat outside on the back patio with the trees and overlooking the creek which was just beautiful. The staff were very responsive in lighting the heater which made it very comfortable. Tables are spaced for covid compliance and it all felt very safe. Prompt service with staff who could not have been more pleasant or helpful. The food arrived in good time and was excellent. Perfect eastside locals restaurant.
Staff shortage. 1 waitress for 7 tables. She wasn’t able to give attention to customers. Coffee cold, carrots not cooked but too busy to get her attention. Very dissatisfied but not her fault.
Reservations were for Easter brunch at 1030. When I called to make the reservation the hostess said that both breakfast and lunch would be available. She wasn’t sure it would be buffet style or menu. She also urged that we make reservations soon as things were filling up.
Upon our arrival, there were FOUR tables occupied, all the rest vacant. No need for reservations.
Our ice water was garden hose warm. When we asked for some ice our waitress explained how the pitchers were poured a while ago and the ice melted. Any thought on replenishing the ice?? When she brought the ice for 4 full glasses of water, she brought two cups of ice and explained how we could go about distributing the ice. Really?! No explanation needed except maybe two more glasses of ice since there are four of us.
We asked about the lunch menu and was told we were too early to order lunch. Now it’s 1045. Lunch starts at 1100. Sunday brunch apparently is still breakfast til 11 and lunch menu is not a minute sooner. For some reason she explained that on the holiday it was extra important they stuck to the timeline. Odd since there were only five tables they were accommodating.
Food has arrived and is EXCELLENT. At least the human in the kitchen is a pro. Well done Chef!
When food is delivered the waitress explains one of the dishes pointing at the food so closely she almost touches it. Disgusted by her lifting fingernail as it’s so closes to our food.
Hard to say if we’ll come back. The food was excellent but the atmosphere and incompetent staff leave a lot to be desired.
Food was awful. I had pasta Del mar and my husband has pistachio crusted salmon. I think we each took about 4 bites and pushed them away. We had spinach and artichoke dip as starter and it was ok. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. Too bad the food was terrible.
We love this place and the ambiance experienced outside. The service is always stellar, the food yummy and they allow dogs too. Go here, it's great!
Very friendly server, Kelly
Juncos rancheros delicious, and rueben, and coconut soup. Everyone happy
Wonderful Sunday brunch overlooking a leafy creek. Great bloody Mary's, food and service. Dog friendly. Highly recommended.
Seeing my son in almost a year since the Pendenic started
Nice seating on patio. Everyone very nice even though busy. Will definitely return
One of the meals was good, the other was disappointing. It was not hot enough.
Very average service and food. Waited too long to be seated. Server got the order wrong.
Staff kind to our dog and the ambiance is nice. Food and timely service not so much.
We had a fabulous brunch on creek. Waitress, busboy, hostess were all friendly!
Experience was chaotic. Turned away. Explained that there had been a glitch in the reservation system causing them to be severely overbooked.. hostess seemed “tipsy”. Not even sure who the hostesses were. I know they are a popular place when they have live music but some signage out front would have been helpful. Especially after driving around 10 min looking for parking.
Had reservation 6.30 no buddy greeted us 7.15 there was to many people , to much noise No social Distancing felt unsafe
They suggested that despite i made the reservation a day before, a mistake was made with “open table” web site. Lost my reservation.
The food and service weren’t good. Music too loud
Lots of construction going on and NO bathroom was available. How can this be?
Food was good and the dining area pleasant.
We got there about our reservation time and were seated promptly but we waited for 45 min and no one came to take our order. We left. Not sure if it was because we were mixed couple or had kids (who were well behaved) with us but it was terrible and we could not just kept waiting while we were all hungry. I will write up this note to other forums too.
I ended with a better table than reserved. The waitress was prompt and friendly.
There were so many parties, unmasked. Not distanced. The staff couldn’t be safe with this going on. I tried to get a table as far away from the parties as possible. Can’t believe parties are legal.
Decided to try Michael’s for breakfast. It was great! Beautiful outdoor sunny deck and delicious food. Recommend!
Nice setting on a stream with a lot of birds in the trees and ducks walking about. Make sure you get seated in the deck in back rather than in front for this reason. We had nice weekend lunch. Food was good.
The setting is amazing but the food wasn't great and the service was supper slow - my dish was missing ingredients and was soggy. It took 15 minutes to get a server to take a drink order.
Forty five minutes to take our order even though they knew they had packed reservations- only one waitress and no bus staff. There was a stick in my salad- not a twig, a stick. Bacon half cooked. Usually good but not on Valentine’s Day.
The staff was great!!! Charming outdoor seating. Food was delicious! Will be back.
I come for the music and stay for the food. I think they could use some new tablecloths and not serve water in plastic glasses. I always order the side dishes of polenta and veggies, very good.
Great food, pretty place, GREAT and friendly service! Always!
Outdoor seating very nice on back patio. Service excellent. Lots of choices on menu and we have enjoyed all the meals we have had there.
Great Service! And a beautiful outdoor area with a great view.
Michaels on Main has a wonderful outside dining area, upgraded to meet social distancing requirements.
The staff is nice, especially Kelly.
The food is good.
It was wonderful except that it was very chilly on the back patio and the few heat lamps around were not producing much heat at all. We had to leave early because of ice cold feet!
Great setting; good food.
The food was outstanding and the heaters were behind which made it so nice outside!
Fun lively atmosphere with live music, which is such a rarity during COVID. The outdoor deck was great for outside dining and watching the band play (outdoors and socially distanced). Very pretty to look out at the trees, and lots of space in between tables. The appetizers were all big--one app could have easily made for a light meal. We over-ordered because of this, but we didn't mind since we just took it home. This is a great spot if you want to get out, see other people, and enjoy some food and drinks in a fun atmosphere.
Our waitress was AMAZING
