Michael's Martinis and Meatballs
Fabulous martinis and meatballs...they are a must. My entree was veal porcini and was flavorful and huge. Service was a little slow between appetizers and entree. Nice atmosphere and musical entertainment was low key 50s and 60s. Will definitely return!
Last minute dinner choice. Outstanding service by Nick. The food was amazing. And the martinis are to die for. Definitely going back!
The sweet and sour calamari and mango martini were amazing!!!!
Great foods and GREAT service!
Greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Our waitress was sweet and friendly. We ordered friend calendar which was very light and crispy, meatballs with vodka sauce which were tasty
but the meatball itself was a little under seasoned. Eggplant rollatini was like homemade and the Margaret salad was light and a good compliment. Espresso martini was so delicious but a little light on alcohol. Overall really nice, reasinably priced menu and we would definitley go back.
This was the first time my husband and his friends had dinner at Michaels Martini and Meatballs and
they loved the food. Each dish we tried was exceptionally delicious and presented beautifully.
The service was A1 and of course the martinis were amazing! We will most definitely becoming
back for another Italian Egg roll on our next trip to Staten Island.
Staff is very nice , food is good but this is the second time I’ve been there for dinner and both times they’ve been short handed and the waiter overwhelmed .
Great food and great drinks made for a nice anniversary dinner for me and my wife.
Food was excellent, as well as the service! Very pleasant and professional staff.
The food was outstanding! The coconut martinis were delicious. Also, the staff was friendly & attentive. I would definitely be returning soon!
The service was horrible we were the only ones in the place had to continue to call over different waiters however they were all talking and the owner was complaining at the bar about an employee not coming to work. Very unprofessional. The food was good
Went there on a Wednesday night with my boyfriend and we were actually the only ones there, it was early but great! Played 2000’s dance music with nice dim lighting. The food was excellent as well as the service. The staff is very friendly and helpful! I would recommend this place for sure, a nice relaxed date spot or friends gathering.
Food was very good but we waited almost 30 minutes for it. Then another 30 for the next course
The last straw was I ordered shrimp Francese and received three shrimp as my main course! Seriously?
Wasn’t the server who was at fault she was very good.
Don’t believe I would return
I have been here many times. Normally, we do appetizers only. This time, we decided to order off the prix fixe menu. We were there for over 2.5 hours, mostly waiting. Waitstaff was attentive and apologetic. I will go back, but will stick to the apps. The food is a little pricey, but they have a nice variety of apps. Their music outside is loud, but they can control the volume.
Cool place to go.
Food is always delish and ambiance was perfect. Just a tad bit too loud. I went with a bunch of girlfriends and it was hard to chat
Ourvwaiter was a outstanding young man. Friendly courteous wonderful
Everything was awesome except for the manager sitting behind the bar on his phone who never came over to a table of 7 who are regulars.
Good food good service great singers played named Tommy and Jeanie had a great time
Service and food was very good. Will definitely go back.
Too hot. No easy parking. Expensive for what you actually get.
Great Food Great Service and Great music by Tommy and Jeanie
Lots of fun. I just wish the place was bigger very small. And very crowded
The service was excellent. Our waiter was excellent.
A bit too loud to have good conversations. But the food was tasty
I came here for my birthday with a couple of friends, and I’m glad I did! Excellent food and service.
Drawn in by the Jazz Band which was great. I decided to follow the namesake and have Meatballs and martinis. Both were terrific.
Worth the visit
This place is great!! Food, service, management.....and now live music is coming. The management finally convinced the landlords to install lighting in the parking lot! This was a big deal for us. We had to use our flashlights.
Now if they could remember to turn on the festive lights on the sidewalk at the side if the building..... Also, the tables are way too small to accommodate all those big plates.
These few criticisms won't keep us away, though. We love this place.
There were 9 of us and we all ordered different foods. Everything was delicious. The waiter was wonderful. Very polite and helpful. Been there before and will definitely go back
Great place for get together. Must try the calamari! Amazing
My date and I enjoyed ourself. We were able to have a nice conversation. The food was excellent. We have already made plans to go back.
Been here a few times & enjoy it very much each time. The appetizers are delicious & so many to choose from & the Papardelle pasta with filet mignon is THE BEST!
Fantastic food, amazing drinks, all around outstanding brunch!!!
I don’t get to Staten Island very often, but when I do I try to come here for the fabulous meatballs. Ok and the pina colada martini. Yuuummmy.
Excellent service and delicious food. Truly enjoyed the handcrafted martinis, especially appreciated the embellishments around the rim of the martini glass.
Love this, the martinis are amazing and the meatballs were delicious as well. I recommend exploring the whole meatball menu like my friends and I did, but order the garlic and oil spaghetti to even the tastebuds out! - love
Our dinner at Michael’s Martinis and Meatballs was our first visit there and we were very pleasantly surprised. Our only mistake was that we chose to sit on the front half of the restaurant which overlooks Hylan Blvd and it was very noisy on a very rainy night. Also, the light in that room is very bright so the ambience is not as nice as it is on the inside portion of the restaurant. Now on to the good things. We tried the chicken Marsala meatballs. Three nice sized meatballs in a delicious Marsala sauce (no mushrooms for anyone who might not order this for that reason). Fried calamari was very good; not rubbery, not greasy. It came with tartar sauce & marinara sauce. Dinner was shrimp parmigiana & pasta with broccoli rabe & sausage. Shrimp parm was delicious. The sauce was really tasty with a hint of sweetness to it. My husband really enjoyed his dish as well saying how tasty the sausage were. We were all so full but we did leave room for sharing one dessert. It was a chocolate cake that was as light as air. Perfect way to end the evening. Overall a great dining experience.
What can I say. Everything was fantastic. The staff is awesome.
So my husband and I where stuck in crazy traffic through Staten Island going into Brooklyn
( yeah I know who hasn't been ) When I couldn't take my hunger pain anymore and stopped in at
Michael's Martinis and Meatballs .. The name had me at HELLO ( actually at Martinis..)
SOOOOOOO happy we stopped - such a neighborhood gem . Great Bartenders ( shout out to TJ ) Great drinks ! Great food !
We said now we are looking forward to traffic so we can stop again ..
Food was delicious , drinks were strong, and our waiter was great. They sat four of us at a table that definitely should be for 2 people, couldn’t fit our food and drinks on the table. Overall a good experience with some minor inconveniences with service.
