Very good food, but EXTREMELY expensive! Watch out for the “off menu” wines.
Birthday celebration with friends. We enjoyed at a round table with delicious food and nice white wine from Hungary.
Great food, reasonably priced, good service,
Good beer (Hrubia)
Good food. Good service.
I love the food, but the gotta do better on the presentation of their so called "Corn Ribs" basically 1 corn for like 14. Not all pieces were fully seasoned. I would have cooked on cob then chopped the kernels off the cob and then combined all the seasonings so every bite gets it and you dont have to dirty your hands.
The food wasn’t that good and they weightier didn’t explain that they only sever in tapas portions.
Awesome best brunch ever! French Toast and Kimchi Benedict soooooo delish!
An overall great and satisfying experience as usual.
Exceptional cuisine, a gem in the design district!
The waiter we had was mediocre. Barely came to the table. Asked for an update on our food TWICE. Brought dessert menus after we asked for the check and offered free dessert but we declined bc overall everyone was antsy to leave and head out.
It was not a good luncheon. The quality of the food was not there. The pastrami was all fat, the beers were warm, and the prices were much higher than previous times. A disappointment for what was a stellar place.
Great food great service. Too damn loud.
The music was too loud which it hard to talk to each other and our server. Nice location, cozy, nice ambiance. Our server could have a been a bit more genuinely friendly. Price/ quality/ quantity wasn’t fair in our opnion. Thanks.
Great food, great service, awesome menu, have been to Michael's on numerous occasions!!
Worst service ever . for over 20 mins we where ignored at the bar. bartenders where talking to echaother .
The worst service ever.
Really bad Sunday brunch menu.
Food was really good. Menu does change a lot so if you really liked something it might not be there next time. Had a hard time ordering but was surprised once we did everything was good. Favorited: rice cakes, corn ribs, and crunchy pig ears!
Host and server were extremely helpful and nice!
Love this place and as always amazing service. Ordered whole snapper and it was done perfectly!
Amazing food as usual.
Excellent in every way as usual....
It was really fun
Excellent brunch!!! Delicious food, the pancakes were excellent and the eggs Benedict. Will return when I return to Miami since I live in Puerto Rico.
Excellent food and service. On the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.
Delectable tastes across a varied menu. Pricey compared to similar designed restaurants, but this is the Design District. Crowded bar scene in this fairly small indoor makes for a fairly loud ambient accompaniement. But flavirs prevail and well worth a visit. Fall or winter periods seating outdoors will make thus far more comfortable.
Very spice! 4 dishes hot fire spice! Not happy.
Service was lovely and patient. Food was really great. Lovely dinner, thank you! xx
The food was great- the chicken and short ribs especially! Great dinner.
It was...just OK. Ordered a glass of wine ($20) and got 1/4 of one...when I complained of was told that they measure their 5 oz pours...but the 2 that were brought out were not the same amount. They brought us “a little more “ in a mini- carafe...not worth the $$$...I would’ve been better off ordering a bottle!!
Have been going to Michael’s for many years & over time, the quality of the food has diminished. There doesn’t seem to be as much care & attention given to how it’s prepared. I had the grouper & it was over cooked. I’ve stopped ordering the ceviche because the last time I had it, there was too much liquid in the serving. Maybe too many locations with less attention to detail...I’m not sure. I won’t visit again anytime soon.
Thank you so much! I had a great time at Michaels
I will send my friends.
Happy hour values prior to being seated for dinner were terrific. Staff was very friendly and attentive! However, dinner took a long time to come out from the kitchen...and was served staccato. Prices for salads and fish dishes were a little high; desert prices were especially high. Still, Recommend. Terrific ambience.
Always a good choice in MidTown Miami. Very good oysters, very good chevice and tuna tartare. The octopus was perfect and a good fragrant Pizza. This place is Always a guarantee for our family.
The food was good but the hostess was not welcoming, the service started extremely slow but got better after a complaint, and the restuarant was loud. Interestingly, the table next to us complained as well and sent the chicken back twice.
We had a mini reunion with friends from near and far. It’s always a good idea to to MGFD. Thanks again for friendly and attentive service and awesome food! See you soon!
Food is excellent. Service friendly and attentive.
