I would have given this restaurant 5 stars but I left very upset that a belligerent table of 4 seated next to me wasn't asked to leave immediately. They caused a scene yelling that their table "wasn't good enough" which, frankly, was somewhat insulting to everyone sitting in a section that was apparently beneath these rude people to sit in. The manager should have asked them to leave or comped the meals of those of us who had to deal with their bizarre entitlement. Aside from this, the food was very good and faster than most McDonald's. Perhaps too fast as they served my entree within two minutes of ordering it (questionable). It was, however, very good. The espresso martini was the highlight of the meal (aside from the Jerry Springer show I had to endure next to me). If I lived in Miami I probably come back mor

This was our second time here-the first was significantly better. We had to send our meals back because they were cold and not cooked as requested. It was busy and our server was very gracious but there are plenty of choices of where to eat in the area and this will not be our top

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Miami. The pan seared half chicken is phenomenal, so much so that it’s hard to order anything else, and the location in the design district and general vibe of the restaurant are ideal. I have been a regular customer since they opened, and they consistently deliver a great experience across the board.

I used to love Michael’s Genuine, and had always been a stop for either lunch or dinner when I’m in Miami. But unfortunately for the past couple years it’s not longer at the same level as when it first opened. The waiter seemed disinterested and the overall service experience was poor. The porter house steak was terrible and the green beans were completely inedible . I still enjoyed the smaller dishes but unfortunately I won’t be going back .

As a local who has frequented this restaurant often, I am disappointed to see such a decline in good and service. The appetizers were horrible. The endive salad had 3 minuscule pieces of endive with too much cheap tasting blue cheese. The eggplant entree was a dish that was 70% pearl onions and olives. All of my dinner companions had equally bad food. Our server was very nice but not present. I know where the extra utensils and plates are as I got them myself. On a positive note the deserts were delicious. Unfortunately the meal was so bad I do not think I will return. Sad.

Been going for years.... but last night seemed like nothing changed much - meaning not so creative... also certain things like $9 for a loaf for store bought sourdough bread is extreme....also $40 for 3 small piece of short ribs as a "large" plate was extreme as well.... with inflation some of this has gotten crazy and especially then when creativity and portion size becomes so routine or small..... Sorry to say after all these years may not run back...

This is an old standby-by for us, mostly for lunch. Varied and appealing menu, really good food, comfortable outdoor seating and space, service generally efficient and friendly. Only minor irritants are occasional long waits for food.

Seating was a little chaotic but given that it was lunch on a holiday, to be expected. I would say make a res or put your name in and expect to walk around for a bit, which the area is great for! Dishes are pricey but big - we both brought food home.

The food was great but the service was not up to par. We ordered a bottle of wine and I said I’d order a drink and the server walked away to get the wine without my drink order. I ended up having to order with someone else which delayed our toast. We also went in a cold day and they didn’t have enough space heaters per table. All they offered was a blanket then we asked to move inside they said they were overbooked and we couldn’t sit inside.
