   We had truffle pizza and a mixed salad for lunch. They were delicious and served in a timely fashion.

   I think Michael's is tired and needs a refresh. It was really the first good restaurant in the Design District. Maybe it's resting on its laurels? The food was good, just a little expensive. If you're going to be expensive, that's fine but the rest-food, service, ambiance-should be in balance with that. For our party of three, the service was pretty much perfunctory. I liked the fact that we didn't feel rushed, but the pacing could have been a lot better. We were there 2 1/2 hours for a 1 or 1 1/2 hour meal. When he was there, our waiter was pleasant but you just felt like we were a job, not a pleasure to him. Eating in the outside walkway/atrium(?) was nice. The tables nicely spaced. That's a bright spot. I didn't get the feeling that the menu changes. It was pretty meh as menus go. There were no specials off the menu. There are so many new creative restaurants in Miami and Michael's could consider adding a little more oomph to its menu. As for drinks, my martini came with a sidecar but even with that, it was small and felt like an afterthought. The glasses of wine by the glass were also small. I did like the number of wines by the glass so another bright spot-sort of.

   We love the place, vibe, and food. The jazz band is great, but it raises the issue that the restaurant has always had bad acoustics and generates too much noise. Additionally, last night, we noticed the lighting on the tables in the dining room is relatively poor.

   The muscles were served with black, burnt toast The steak tartar was not ground up Only bad experience in 100+ visits. We will be back

   A truly incredible spot for lunch or dinner as you shop in an incredible fashion area. The food and service is always so wonderful with every dish served with care and always delicious. Cheers!!

   Never coming back. The service was the only good thing about this place. The food quality wasn’t what I expected: Not a tender meet, plane burrata, the ceviche came with more onions and pepper than fish. the Cherry/Rosemary soda is good. Flies over your table all of the time!!!
