All was good except that the restaurant is alittle under water and the waitress was disappearing but very nice but she needed more help not her fault
Turkey was not fresh but just breast sliced and very dry
Great service as per usual and great food! Always a good time
Unimpressed. The food was delicious. The rest was not.
Extremely small portions of food smaller than your hand, not worth the value, brunch drinks weren’t really great either
Especially loved the crudo. Its a busy place but a fun atmosphere and really good food. Our second time and still enjoyed it.
Loud music and the food is over priced for the portions served
A friend who lived in Miami highly recommended Michael's Genuine. We made a point of going and will go there every time we return to the Miami area. MG's "food & drink" with expert service make for a memorable experience.
Little Gem salad was great; french fries were great: duck confit was dry and salty but still eatable. I miss the consistency of quality that this restaurant used to provide.
What a terrible 3 hour dinner. We have eaten at this restaurant many times. The manager apologized, and offered complimentary desserts, but our guest couldn’t eat his food it was so terrible. Drinks took 1/2 hour to get them. So sad this restaurant was so lacking.
Great food and drank!
Always reliable and fun. A Miami staple great for social and business events.
Bread and butter great. Octopus app delicious but spicy and large enough to share. Short ribs were good. Cobia was not very good-too much sauce, very spicy and way too many onions. Oysters were good.
Chocolate ice cream ( home made) was superb.
Waitress was very professional and nice. We wanted the chicken for 2 but it required a 55 minute wait. That was too long.
Would come back again and order other stuff because many people told me they love Michaels and we did like it.
The outside area is very nice - great music and just the perfect volume for conversation.
Fish was not that good.
Other times were better
Spotty service although we were seated right by the door. Too many times, for too long did we have to wait for water refills.
Nothing like the pictures. None of the pictures dishes were available. Food very bad to be honest. And the service was the only reason I give 2 stars
The food was delicious and the experience was enhanced as a result of our server, David.
One problem only. Waiters are continuously interrupting
This place never disappoints. Always the best.
Cold food that was supposed to be hot
We have been coming to Michaels since it opened years ago. Definitely gone downhill. Old brunch menu much better than current one. Service was very poor. Food was sub par. Will not take a chance coming back for dinner after this experience. Still like Amara - hopefully that has not gone downhill as well.
We had a great afternoon meal with our three younger children. Food was fantastic and the restaurant had a lively and legitimately family friendly atmosphere. We look forward to dining again!
Last time we dined service was poor, but thought we would give it another chance. We started off well with two great appetizers but then they forgot we were in the restaurant. Two of us has the pastrami sandwich. It came with cold hard toasted bread - thankfully the French fries were good. We did not complain and the wait staff didn’t even apologize. We done with this restaurant.
Awesome and our waiter was spectacular
Overstated weight of fish by 2 pounds!! A 1.5 pound fish to serve three adults, and then charged us for 3.5 pounds. I grill fish every week at home and I’m very familiar with how much meat comes off of a 3.5 pound fish. We left the restaurant still hungry from tiny portioned side dishes, a pathetically presented tiny fish. It was really an awful experience from start to finish. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and certainly won’t be going back myself.
Very good experience. Excellent food! The terrasse is very nice, good music, not too loud.
We really enjoyed all of the food we ordered. Our waiter was exceptional, very friendly and checked on us often. I couldn't give five stars for service, however, but I don't believe it had anything to do with our waiter. The restaurant was "out of" the first few beverages my husband tried to order (on the menu that is said to change frequently), and the timing between drinks and each course was a little long. We weren't in a hurry, but we eat out enough to know good timing. Not every table was filled in the restaurant when we were there, so I'm not sure why - and the food was hot when it came out. All in all, however, we really enjoyed ourselves and would go back to Michael's Genuine Food & Drink.
Michael’s Genuine is one of our favorite food spots. Had an opportunity to dine for lunch this week and it did not disappoint. Best heirloom tomatoes I’ve ever had with fresh burrata cheese and the pork pizza with arugula was spot on. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys fresh ingredients and well executed dishes.
Joe at the seafood bar makes this place awesome.
Great meal as usual. Have to eat here every trip back to Miami.
Michael’s is a Bew Years Eve tradition for our family for a reason. It is simply amazing. They have their regular menu which is awesome.
Food was amazing! We sat outside on a beautiful evening. Especially liked kale pizza. Ceviche also great!
Very good food and nice staff
Rockstar menu and on point service!
The menu that appears on the Web site is fabulous. The menu that was available our night was disappointing. But when you have a restaurant that charges $7 for bread, it is particularly infuriating when you order the bread and they have run out of all bread before 9:00 p.m. on the Saturday night
So many people told me to go there. The noise level was awful. I felt like I was at a mall restaurant.
We love Michael’s Genuine. It is always amazing and it’s our “go to” restaurant in the design district in Miami. Never disappoints!
Over priced, loud and crowded.
Food not up to par with the hype.
Excellent service and food
Too busy, staff was slow bc of it
