I do love this place. The setting is magical, the staff friendly (will give you a quieter table if you ask, help with suggestions, even give tips for Amara). I always leave so very happy and full

The only criticism is that the brunch menu has not changed in years. We eat at MGFD a few times a week. It would be nice to mix it up a bit like the old days and introduce some new items on the menu.

Your restaurant has always been one of my favorite anywhere and I took out-of-town friends. Unfortunately, the service was OK, not up to your standard, the wrong item was brought to the table, did not top up the glass wine of the person that did the tasting, and the menu in my opinion was disappointing compared to the many other times that I visited your restaurant. If it were my first time, it would not be on my return list. I would recommend it only because of previous experiences.

Very good bread, and that counts. Excellent lamb, swordfish,service. The excellent lamb was compromised by a tomato sauce, imo.

The food tastes good, the coffee is also very good. There was a hair in my salad and I preferred to stop eating and pay, the service was slow and bad so I thought I would waste more of my time showing the hair and I decided to pay and leave.

One of the OGs in the Design District, it's impressive that Michael's has remained relevant and consistent for so long. As usual, the meal was great. This was the "Celebrating Masa" event. The food was outstanding.

Booked a table for ten but showed up with an unexpected extra guest. The manager could not have been nicer or more helpful. They made us feel completely welcome and set up an entire new table outside to accomodate us as they were limited to 10 at the table inside by fire code. Our server was wonderful and didn't miss a beat. Her support staff were also on point and the food was outstanding. We had appetizers, drinks, desert and wine for 11 people for under $1,200 including 20% gratuity. While that is not a cheap meal by any standards, it was absolutely reasonable and a very good value for an amazing experience.

Great spot in the Miami Design District. Lots of indoor as well as outdoor seating. Very vibrant atmosphere. The menu is fun and eclectic....great restaurant for brunch as well. Will definitely return soon.

Michael’s never disappoints. French toast out of this world. Never had french toast like that ! What a treat. Pastrami omelette credibly good. Love this spot and very trendy as well.

I went with my mom and we order the crispy por belly which was delicious with a sweet and sour light sauce and was accompanied with a kimchi salad. The duck confit with a orange mustarda sauce was really tender and I loved the sauce. We also truly enjoyed the beet salad and the country paté. The service was great. Very attentive staff. The only downside, unfortunately was that just for that night all the restrooms were out of service and we had to cross the street and go to the restroom in another restaurant. My mom has Epoc so even a short walk for her is tough.

Everything was really good but what really stood out was your wait staff. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. We had two different people, and both gentlemen were a delight. My brother and sister-in-law are coming through next month and I highly recommended they have dinner with you all

Michaels is usually my go to for a standard date night. The food is usually great last night. It was Meehhh… but the service was amazing like always . I guess I’d say Michaels is hit or miss with more hits the Misses.

The food was great, but we didn’t enjoy sitting outside bc there are numerous fans and they were very loud so it felt like we had to speak extra loudly to hear each other.

The food is ok, We order chicken salad sandwich the put to much mayonnaise the chicken was swimming in mayonnaise. The pizza was good and the beets salad was ok The beans was chewy not cooked enough. But the ambience always good at Michael’s.

The restaurant is a miami classic, so that means something. Food and service were good, but prices are just too expensive, much more than they once were. Mezcal $23 per drink? This is considered high even for Miami Beach and we were not even there. Wine list very pricey also, no many bottles to pick from under $100

Our Server was amazing! Unfortunately we didn’t realize that the kitchen closed at 3 so we didn’t have much time to deliberate and a lot of what we came for was sold out at that point
