Michaelangelo's Italian Bistro
Monday - Thursday : 11am - 10pm
Friday & Saturday: 11am - 11pm
Another great dining experience at Michaelangelo's! I love they accept reservations through OpenTable.
Great Italian restaurant near by that accepts reservations. We went there for the Devour Indy 2018 menu, which was not listed anywhere in the restaurant, but when I said we were there for Devour Indy, the server immediately asked if we knew which appetizer we wanted. The service was great as was the food. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time and will return.
Great service and good food at a very reasonable price.
Delicious food and the best service. We will definitely be returning.
1st time dining there. Service was very quick
We've been to Michaelangelo's several times and have always enjoyed then ambiance and delicious food. The salad is wonderful. Very tasty food that won't break the bank
Last minute gathering for Easter. Service was great. Food was good.
It was the first time the three of us have eaten here. Seating was immediate, to match our reservations. The service was timely. This included taking our order, serving our food, keeping us supplied with breadsticks and keeping our beverages filled. The three of use had different entrees and we all were pleased with the apearences, taste and generous portions.
We will be back again👍
Everything was great— very good pasta and salad.
We were excited to try a new restaurant for date night...We arrived at 7:00pm on time for our reservation. We were quickly seated and our mouths were watering just looking at the menu options. We were hungry and excited to try a new place on date night.
There was a booth next to us that was empty when we sat down. No big deal. As we both sat watching food come out and drinks being refilled we began to wonder why no one stopped by our table to greet us. The booth next to us was sat, server came over greeted them, took and delivered their drink order. This couple also put in a appetizer. Meanwhile still no one has looked at us. By this point I am getting pretty antsy/more hangry. If the server was so slammed, he could have come over and simply told us, "good evening, I am a little behind but I will be right with you." Nope, no one even looked at us. So I wrote a note to the server on the build your own pasta menu. I simply told the server in my note why we were leaving and asked him to think about it. Meaning think about why we did not even get a chance to have dinner at Michelangelo's and poor customer service. Needless to say 21 minutes later, the note to the server was complete and we left.
We drove from the far west side of Indianapolis to try something new only to be let down by very poor customer service.
I can't comment on the food or drinks, but I can say the service is very terrible at best. When we left Michaelangelo's we went back west on Westfield Road and found a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant. The service and food could not have been more great!
Nice place, good food, friendly staff. Will consider dining here again when we’re in the area.
Truly a small town gem. Food is superb, and service is fast and friendly. Discovered by accident, and will be back regularly.
Food was excellent and so was the service. Noise level was a bit much when trying to catch up with an old friend. Otherwise, an excellent experience.
Food was great! Loved the all you can eat salad!!!
Two of my friends and I went to celebrate our birthdays! Service was wonderful and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend Michaelangelo's to anyone who wants wonderful Italian food!!
Excellent meal! First time! We will bring our elder group for our supper outing to dine here next month!! Service was good, prompt, friendly. Overall nice clean environment. Thank you.
The Knight and Maccagnano Family.
Great local food. Good value. Big servings. We have always enjoyed going out to eat here.
We have never been here & only went because they have kids eat free on Sunday, and we can make an Open Table reservation. When we pulled up we were a little disappointed to see that it has a drive-thru window, and that almost made us have second thoughts. But when we went in, the Decor was nice and it was obvious that detail had been put into the restaurant. The food was delicious! My husband got the fettuccine, I got the ravioli Trio, and the kids got spaghetti and pizza. My daughter didn't like the pizza so they took it back and gave her fettuccine instead. We tasted her pizza and we actually loved in! LOL. We were very pleasantly surprised at the breadsticks and salad, and really just the quality, and quantity, of all the food. Definitely will be going back!
Loved the spinach dip/grilled baguette and tortellini alfredo!
We've driven by so many times. Devour Downtown drew us in, and we were so pleased! Great food, large portion sizes, and great service! We head enough leftover for lunch the next day!
Food is excellent although could use some presentation. Atmosphere is okay. Pasta Alfredo is worth the drive.
My husband loved his dish. Mine bothered my stomach. It was a bit too greasy for me. The service was sub par. She forgot most everything she promised to bring. We had to ask three times for our ramekin of sauce for our bread sticks. We'd been there a few weeks before and had s great experience. We decided to come for Father's Day.
Great local. Resturant, good service. Great food selection. Generous portions . Beer and wine list. My wife and I enjoy a dinner out here. Not a chain mentality
Great value for the price. Good menu choices. Salad and breadsticks similar to Olive Garden.
Excellent food, it was fairly cheap for how much food you got. My meal was $15 and came with unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks. The meal itself was so much food! Plus we got appetizers and desserts as additional. Service was extremely fast and wait staff was friendly.
I am confused since I booked a reservation on Open Table but was not listed at Michaelangelo restaurant. An employee confirmed that they are not listed with Open Table. Please investigate this issue and inform me how this occurred in your system.

Average cost, good gluten-free options
All 3 different meals ordered by each were very good and tasty. Would order again. The Caesar salad was just a garden salad with Caesar dressing, not a real Caesar salad.
We went for Mother's Day. Really glad we used Open Table as we walked right in and were seated at 12:45PM, even though there were a fair number of people waiting. Unique atmosphere as it seemed like a former fast food restaurant that had been converted in to a Bistro. There weren't a ton of tables (maybe 20-25?) but it was busy, and the food was good.
We were first time visitors and were extremely happy with our service and food. Waitress was very nice and her attention to our table and the tables around us was just right.
Food selection was fantastic. Something for everyone. I had the Tuscany combo so I could try a few different things at once. Tortellini was my favorite!
A bit noisy where we sat, but other parts of the restaurant seemed more quiet, so next time we will request more to the back of the restaurant.
Great overall experience and we will be back! Thank you for a memorable lunch!
Nothing fancy or exciting, but the food was pretty good. The build your own was the best part.
Very good food, great service .. had fun with friends going out Saturday night.. large servings .. nice interior ,, like supporting the local family run restaurants
Always love this place. I have been there many times. My family likes to celebrate our birthdays there. Food is great, service is fast and friendly. The menu has something for everybody!
Great family place! Our server was wonderful. We will be back.
Always good. They remodeled in the last year so the interior is updated.
Promptly greeted and seated. Waiter greeted us and took our order. Everything was delicious portions were generous, and hot items arrived hot. That's a real plus!
This was our first time and we'll definitely return soon. Very good value.
Food was very tasty. We had both the traditional and chicken lasagna, and both were nice. Ceasar salad, wedding soup, and breadsticks were good, too. Server was attentive but not overbearing.
The only thing undesirable was the seating. I think they've updated their dining area which is nice, but they don't have many booths available (6 full booths was all I saw). We were seated at a table and the chairs were wooden with no padding...not very comfortable, especially after a day of chores (back was already sore and chair didn't help). I was disapointed when I saw where we were beingseated but noticed all the booths were already taken, so did not request a different table. Our seating arrangemnet left us feeling like were were out on display and a little uncomfortable, e.g., I wouldn't want to hold a personal / confidential conversation. If I'd been on a romantic date, I woud have been unhappy. We made a reservation but knowing now that booth space is limited, next time we will be sure to request a booth. If one's not available to us when we arrive, we'll go elsewhere.
Our second trip and it was again worth it. Good Italian food at a very reasonable price. Creative dishes too such as Jambalaya over Penne. Good service and good food.
We have been there quite a few times, and are mostly satisfied. Our one big complaint is that they over salt ALL of their dishes. I find myself scraping salt off of the French fries, and we have stopped ordering the soups because you cannot undo an over-salting of that. Salads are always fresh and tasty, and their house dressing is good.
