This is because dining at Michael Warring is meant to be an intimate, emotional experience. Each day, the restaurant creates a unique menu in multiple courses, which is then presented to the guests by the chef himself along with his kitchen staff. Private dining options are available, for which the staff will tailor the menu and floral arrangements to the guests' needs. As mentioned, the menu at Michael Warring changes every day, but there are a few items that have become staples. The BEST restaurant experience I have ever had! The menu was full of a wonderful variety of flavors and ingredients that all lent to one another, yet distinct in their own course. So many new experiences with every course: surprising, innovative and delicious! The food was just phenomenal and beautifully presented. I really can't impress upon you what an enjoyable meal it was. The wine pairings were perfectly matched with the courses. A terrific selection and wonderful flavors! I was so impressed, I asked for the list of wines so that I could replicate in my own home. All were CA. vintages. Chef Michael Warring and his wife are the only employees in their little, but lovely restaurant, and are just delightful. They were attentive, pleasant and knowledgable. Fixed menu and prices. Prices were moderate to high but COMPLETELY worth the value of the ingredients used, style of presentation and delicious cuisine. I felt very comfortable supporting these owners and their wonderful enterprise. You must go if you are ever in Vallejo.
