My second time having dinner at Michael Mina”s. The food and service was excellent. We had the steamed Halibut purred potatoes, mushrooms, prawns for appetizer. Capped off dinner with a birthday cake.

First time back in Vegas since the Pandemic. Gregory made our last night in town a fantastic experience with his attentiveness and flexibility timing our orders. Food was amazing, as always, but Gregory was who really made the visit a great one.

It was delicious
We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. I had included that information on my reservation, but it was not acknowledged by anyone. The staff was super attentive and friendly. My filet was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend said the halibut was just ok. I was very shocked by the restaurant prices. We did find that most food prices are higher than New York prices. But this was our most expensive meal in Las Vegas.

Food was outstanding, but service was average. The server challenged me on a beverage choice not believing it was on the menu. When he looked it up in front of me, he apologized telling me he doesn't "normally do this". Too bad their service does not match their food.

The customer service is wonderful from the time you are greeted through the entire meal. Food choices are unique and make for an enjoyable. Recommendations by the waiter were right on and enhanced the evening.

This is a wonderful restaurant for people that enjoy great food! My wife selected scallops for an appetizer and crusted sole for an entree. She raved over both - especially the sole. I had the potato chowder followed by the lobster pot pie. The chowder was wonderful but the lobster pie was simply out of this world! Quick tip - the lobster pie is huge. You may not need an appetizer. Our server, Gregory, was great. Always checking in with us but never intrusive. He also offers sage advice as few know the menu better than Gregory.
Excellent, but if the prices were half of what they are, it would still be expensive.
We came to MM for a day-after-valentines day dinner and chose to all do the tasting menu + shared octopus app. To cut right to the point, I found the meal to be a bit of a disappointment. We go out for fine dining with some regularity and MM was both more expensive and less impressive than most. On our previous trip to Vegas we went out to Picasso and for approximately the same price we were more impressed with both the food and the overall experience.
A quick dish by dish rundown of the food we tried:
Octopus - Good sear and good flavor, but not as tender as I would expect. B+
Amuse Bouche (Lobster bits in shot glass of curry) - I thought there was too much gravy vs lobster but my girlfriend liked it. C+
Salad w/ Crab - Star of the night. Delicious large chunk of crab and perfectly prepared/dressed salad. A+
Encrusted Sole - Fine but not really interesting and a bit bland. B-
Lobster Pot Pie - Huge pieces of lobster but the flavor was missing something, and this is the one I'd heard people talk about so I was expecting better. If you've ever said to yourself "What if pot pie but it has silly amounts of lobster" then I guess this is for you. It was also at this point that we started realizing there is far too much food on this tasting menu. Started thinking up strategies to not have stomach rupture. B
Wagyu beef w/ layered potato cube- Look, they said this was wagyu and I'm not going to call them liars but I've never seen so little intramuscular fat on a piece of wagyu ribeye. I definitely get more 'melt-in-your-mouth'-iness from a quick seared cheap wagyu from my local Korean supermarket. Also, reiterating, this is too much dang food. Belts being loosened. Trying to develop exit plan. B-
Fruit Tart + Sorbet - Sorbet was good and was all I could eat. Girlfriend said tart was good. I took some back for later but never ate it and am fine with that outcome. Inconclusive
There also may have been a tartar in there somewhere. Maybe? Eh, I'm done thinking about it
