Michael Jordan's in Grand Central is my favorite nice restaurant to meet in in NYC, particularly if I am short on time. The food is great, and prepared to perfection! Typical steak house fare but the ambiance with Grand Central is just fabulous. As a commuter, you can't beat that you can pay the check and be at your gate within minutes.
The test of an organisation is when things go wrong how it is dealt with .....water leak, you didn't deal with the customers well, terrible service and you charged us for two ice wines that we didn't receive...only noticed this inv the bill after we left the restaurant, shame on you!!!
We were in Manhattan for a holiday shopping trip. We were here before and it is a great place especially for tourists, eating dinner with a great view of Grand Central. I had the bone in rib eye, which was cooked perfect. My wife, the salmon it was good. But the chef's special was a rip off, 5 little pieces of meat for $37, just go for the filet or rib eye.
Definitely go for the tuna tartar appetizer, excellent!
It is no more than an average Steakhouse in NY. Wait staff is inexperienced and weak, food is good but menu is limited. Beautiful decor and string in grand central!
Food was good, you pay for the setting really, portions were on the small side
This restaurant is in Grand Central and it feels like it. The building is monumental but the lighting for a train station does not lend itself to a restaurant. Poor ambiance. Service was slow, inattentive and inaccurate. Food was passable - but only barely. There are MANY better choices nearby.
Wonderful setting shame about the standard of service and food. Starters didnt arrive, steaks were not cooked to our instructions and were over done. Over priced for what you get. Would not visit again. Great shame the food let it down.
Took friends to this restaurant overlooking Grand Central terminal and they LOVED it. The energy of the terminal, plus the view of the ceiling was electric. And the service was good. Fun!
Slightly pricey for what you get
Service was excellent but the food was not as great as Michael Jordan's Steakhouse at the Mohegan Sun in CT.
The Steak for food was the best steak iv ever had. Nice finish to our trip.
Recommended by family for a special birthday visit, spectacular view and decor. Good banter with the attentive server. Two of the party had the New York strip 10oz steaks which they said were perfect, I had the 8oz rib eye which was equally as good. Big portions with no room left for dessert. Good selection of quality wines.
I took a friend from London who had never been to Grand Central Station. Looking out over the Concourse was a perfect end to a wee-long trip. Service was a little slow, especially since we said that we were in a bit of a hurry. Food was good/excellent. A little pricey, but worth it for the ambiance.
We had a party of 8 and when in New York you must have a steak and Grand Central Station is a fun location with its 1920's architecture. The T bone porterhouse was cooked rare but NY rare is more blue so should have gone Medium rare as this was a serious amount of meat for 2 British appetites. We over ordered as the sides were massive, the macaroni Cheese to die for. Even with 2 vegetarian in our party everyone foundsomething satisfying. The wine list was extensive and the whole meal inc wine was just over$100 per head
Me and my friend dined at Michael Jordan steakhouse for Thanksgiving dinner we were in town visiting for the Macy's Thanksgiving parade our main server was very rude but his two assistants Leon and Shah were very kind, caring and offered amazing service.
