Lovely birthday dinner at this wonderful restaurant! Excellent food and service. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. If I could wave a magic wand, I would make it a bit quieter and disclose all ingredients on the menu. I ordered Chicken Cacciatore because of all the delightful ingredients and because onions (which I can't eat) were not listed among them. To my dismay, the dish arrived full of onions. Still wonderful, but I would have preferred not to pick the onions out of it.

A very nice more upscale restaurant than the usual in HHI. Great food. Salad with pear & gorganzola was excellent. Very good service.

Our first visit to Hilton Head and we were fortunate to have dined at Michael Anthony's! By far, this was the best restaurant of our stay. The setting, the warmth of every staff, and the FOOD were absolutely top-notch. Being from NJ, we have many fabulous Italian restaurants. Michael Anthony's is one of the best. Wish we lived closer, we would be regulars.

It was a bit better than okay. But we eat at nice places on HHI three times a week. Maybe it was an off night. Last time was fantastic but Amberjack was okay. My wife’s scallops were great though but waiter seemed distracted and a little put out. We will try again but Umbra and Pomodori has them beat. Caprese Salad tomatoes were soft and a little mealy.

Revisited again for our anniversary. Greeted with complimentary prosecco, menu explained well by server, great drinks, good bottle wine list but just OK for by-the-glass, great cozy/romantic bar, classy interior. Everyone goes out of their way to be sure you have a great experience. Veal highly recommended and the specialty food shop a great find for quality provisions.
Wonderful evening.

Restaurant week gave us the opportunity to give M. Anthony’s visit. It proved well worth the 30 minute drive as everything was great from quick seating to timely check upon the end of a wonderful 3 course meal. Our waitress (Nicky) was attentive and very helpful too.

Second time there. A local Italian favorite for exquisite delicious homemade food, including the homemade pasta. The dishes are carefully prepared and the service is awesome. The ambience is OK The seating is comfortable but the main point is the beautiful food

Michael Anthonys' is our favorite restaurant on Hilton Head. The food never disappoints and the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. It's THE place to go for any celebration or just a fantastic night out. And check out their wine tastings and chef's dinners!

First class menu. How many Italian restaurants in the US have the two classics on their menu: cacio e pepe and bucatini amatriciano? Very, very few. My wife had the bucatini and it was excellent and I had the former. Unfortunately, my dish was too long on the cheese and short on the pepper. But it was still good and again kudos for having them both on the memo. And service? Outstanding. Our server was Jay.
