This was our 44 Anniversary. The restaurant gave us free Prosecco and waitress gave us limoncello after drink. The waitress was excellent. My only thing to improve was the food was brought too quickly and there was no time between courses as with fine restaurants. The check was brought without us asking and felt this was a rush to get us out the door. I am not sure we will go back since expensive.

Food & service was excellent. My wife had scallops & I had prime rib. They did not offer baked potatoes so I had French fries. I chose their creamy spinach as other side item. The wine selection was good. My wife selected rice and mixed vegetables for her sides. It appeared that the locals patronize this restaurant. They make their deserts and we chose the cheesecake. Dianne was a great waitress.

We had a great meal with excellent service. The caprese salad, tagliatelle bolognese, ravioli special, and lava cake dessert were all delicious. Our server was attentive and gracious. The meal was well worth the price. We will be back!

It was crowded, however, food was hot and service was excellent!!! We were seated in a booth that was too small for us, as we are larger people. Next time, and we will go again, we'll request a table, then it will be a 5!!

I wasn’t happy with the table location but I was promised that that our next reservation would meet my seating expectations.

We enjoy dining at Michael Anthony’s Cucina while on vacation. Two visits in the last month and both were spectacular. Our first visit was restaurant week. The menu selections were great, highly recommend the beef carpaccio appetizer. The veal chop is a winner and the wine selections and wine flights are good options to consider.
The servers here are super stars; knowledgeable, professional and always on point.
This week our servers were Nicky and Jay. Our party ordered grouper that was excellent. The sauce was delicious. We sat upstairs on this visit and the volume
Here seemed better. The restaurant is quite large
And always busy so noise is hard to avoid. Reservations are needed.
It’s one of our favorites, with strong restaurant competition on Hilton Head Island, the management and staff excel. Naturally the chef and kitchen staff are stellar.
Cheers to good work!

One of the finest restaurants in Hilton Head. From the professional staff to the quality of their food offerings. Our party of 4 enjoyed all 3 courses. Starters of a Tuscan bean soup and Caesar salad we wry nice. Our entrees were chicken Marsala, pasta and sausage and eggplant rollatini were all very tasty and well received. Desserts were equally good tiramisu and profiteroles. A little less chocolate would have been better for me. Wait staff is extremely professional and efficient. This place is tops on all counts.

Dined 3/6/2019 - Just plumb excellent! First time dining at this restaurant - has a good crowd of locals who feel very at home here, but also extends the same courtesy and warmth to 1st time dinners. This was a special occasion as this was our 49th wedding anniversary! From the time we met the hostess and she recognized our anniversary, we knew it was going to be a memorable evening. Miss Kat, our culinary guide for the evening welcomed us, again mentioning our anniversary, bringing us a glass of bubbly, and highlighting the off menu experiences for the evening. My wife had the scallops, and I had a martini, shaken not stirred, a little dirty, just perfect, the oysters Anthony, done to perfection, the low country crab soup, really, really good, the spaghetti con gamberi early dining special(this is a real treat, and easy on the pocket, and a wonderful sorbet. My wife has a dairy allergy, and the chef/culinary team, did a wonderful job/presentation avoiding any dairy in her dishes. It is unfortunate that Michael Anthony's is is 350 miles from our home, or we would be a weekly resident! Highly recommend you enjoy this restaurant. Best regards, Bob.

We went to try their Early Dining meal that includes three courses for $25 including a non-alcoholic beverage. The service was excellent as usual and the food was delicious. When the server asked for our input after the meals arrived, we told her the food was excellent but I expressed a bit of disappointment at the size of the serving of my pasta dish. She immediately said they would be happy to bring me more and she did. That is what we call great attention by a server and great effort by all to make sure the customer is happy. We dined at Michael Anthony’s twice in a week after having an excellent experience the first time and will continue to make it a regular on our list when we visit Hilton Head.

Kay, our server, help guide us through the menu. We shared four courses and the potions were divided in the kitchen. Everything was yummy and pretty to look at. We drank an unpacked Chardonnay. First course salad with blue cheese and pears. 2d. Linguine with shellfish in a tomato sauce. Third was a steelhead social on spinach. Tiramisu yum for dessert. This restaurant is always our HHI destination.

What a great meal we had! Our servers Lucy and Nikki were fabulous! We felt like we had dined with old friends by the time we left our meal! Food was scrumptious! We did small plates and shared w the table- we all loved everything!! My only disappointment was that we were traveling and while offered to take home some food that was left over- we just didn’t have anywhere to keep it. When we come back to HHI- we’d love to attend a cooking class!

There are a lot of good restaurants on Hilton Head but Michael Anthony’s is a cut above any we have been to. It has a reputation for been more expensive but, if it is, the difference in the food quality and service (Caitlin was excellent!) are worth the difference in price. This was our first visit and we learned they have some attractive and less expensive alternatives to the regular dining experience. We plan to try their Early Dining option at 3 courses for $25 and their “Bits and Bites” in the bar for $21 including samples of 3 wines. It’s now definitely on our list of regulars. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you. The building is plain and unassuming but the inside is lovely and they all, including the Mangers, really let you know they appreciate your dining with them.
P.S. the homemade Limoncello is wonderful!

Food is delicious! Michael Anthony’s also has a cooking school and they know their stuff! Our server was excellent! My only knock is we were seated in the market rather than the main restaurant and as it was our anniversary, the ambience wasn’t quite what we hoped for. But we’ve been there before and and will again. It is one of our favorites.

Located in a little off the main roads but worth the effort. Best meal we had on the island. Service was outstanding. Lentil & sausage appetizer was delicious. Mixed greens salad was fresh & tasty. Special veal with prosciutto with demi reduction was outstanding. My wife’s meal was an amazing spaghetti. One of the best restaurants we have dine in
