Mia’s Italian Kitchen - Orlando
Server was amazing! Very attentive and great experience.
The food was excellent and portions were generous. We found the service very friendly, attentive, and fun. The only issue we had with the restaurant was that the music was too loud to enjoy conversation with our party.
Mia’s was good not great, don’t go if you’re looking for authentic Italian. My husband and I were unfortunately disappointed with our starter as well as mains. They seemed like they just opened maybe it will get better with time...
Absolutely delicious! Service was a bit slow for there not being a ton of people there at 9pm, BUT it was entirely worth it. We got the chicken parmagiana and fettuccine al funghi.
We had a great birthday dinner for my dad. We did that all-you-can-eat option and it was amazing. We got to taste our way through a cheese course, appetizers, pasta, entree, and dessert. It was served family-style and portion sizes were perfect. Menu highlights were the prosciutto and apricot mostarda from the cheese plate, the Sunday Sauce (server said they cook the sauce overnight, tons of great flavor and tender meats) and beef carpaccio. Didn’t try the raviolo but I’ve heard it’s a must do and we’ll be back for that as well as the pizza. Everyone agreed the value was great for the all-you-can-eat, but next time we’d stick to a more traditional style of ordering. Service was great, as were the cocktails. Wine selection isn’t amazing, but its adequate for this level of restaurant and does have a decent representation of different area of Italy.
Attentive service, fun atmosphere and delicious food! Couldn’t ask for much more than that. Kiara was the BEST server! We will be back!
We loved how the place looked, and its very reasonably priced and the food was very good. Pasta was a little too al-dente for what we consider al-dente, but all was fresh and made in house. The only problem we really had there was that for a classic, upper-end italian restaurant, the college-and-bar crowd I-Heart radio was playing way way too loudly and we couldn't hear the server talk much less each other unless we were shouting across the table. After asking 3 times, it was finally down to a level we could somewhat hear each other. Should have been much quieter, classic Italian music to match the decoration. They obviously spent a lot of time, money, and effort to decorate a restaurant, they should worry less about the much smaller bar crowd area, and more about their diners wanting a peaceful calming atmosphere to eat in. Still, a good recommendation, and will go back just because the food was simply just that good.
Outstanding scratch made italian food. If in the Orlando area, you need to give a try. Delicious!.
Apps good. Calamari creative but for broad appeal using sweet sausage would be better than spicy. Garlic loaf great. Small pizzas very good. Cacio pepe weak. Pasta cooked perfectly but weak sauce. Seemed like they used cream. Real cacio is just cheese and butter and some pasta water to create the sauce. Sauce had no flavor at all
Carbonara was off. Again it seemed like it had cream in the sauce. Guanciale cooked perfectly and pasta ala dente like it should be. Hold the cream. Recipe is egg and cheese blended and then added to the cooked pasta. And again a touch of pasta water If recipes were true Roman style the place would be packed all the time
Service very good. Greeting at podium warm and friendly.
We are local and were looking forward to someone having real Italian food. Did not meet expectations
You spent a lot to create the restaurant. Invest in your chef and send him or her to Tuscany Naples Florence and Rome to learn how simple high quality ingredients result in amazing food Even the chicken parm was just ok
Can’t say anything would bring us back
Friends told us we had to try Mia’s as the food was excellent they claimed...I always wonder what’s on an Italian restaurant menu that cloudless be as great as being in Italy or a home cooked meal...but Mia’s lived up to our friends hype. The large industrial sized restaurant allows for lots of open space around you and clusters tables in such a way that feels like you are not in a loud and crowded environment. The decor feels very contemporary and fun, yet has just enough nods to Italy to set the vibe ie: look up at the ceiling.
The waiter was articulate and could and did describe many of the menus choices and made recommendations, however he hung around and came around a tad too much, but can’t really complain otherwise. The menu had all your standard favorites your eggplant and chicken Parmesans but it had several less expected offerings...my husband had the Sunday gravy a sauce cooked with chicken, sausage, pork, beef with big thick ziti. He loved it. I got a really super salad of warm cauliflower, grilled shrimp, radicchio, cabbage, pine nuts, raisins, shaved Parmesan and crispy prosciutto...really yummy. I paired that with stuffed grilled squid a tiny bit salty but very delicious. Go check it out.
Pretty pathetic. Staying at the Hyatt Regency, I thought I would try a new Italian place instead of Maggianos. I made the wrong choice. This place was pretty much empty and I can see why. The food was average at best - Maggianos would have been a much better choice!
This was our 3rd visit and this place has never disappointed. Every piece of the dining experience is always perfect.
Beautiful restaurant, great service, pretty good food. The egg yolk ravioli was amazing. The branzino was amazing. The calamari was..... different then what I have had at other places, but good. I was disappointed in the oatmeal cookie dessert. The gelato on top was amazing but the cookie itself was a salt bomb, pretty much inedible by itself.
The ambience was beautiful. NO bread. Bread is the staple in Italian families. I think they tried to hard with the food. The menu talks about grandma's food and it was not even close. Very salty and flavor was not even close to homemade. Disappointing for the price. Maybe we were fooled, maybe it is just a tourist trap
We were super impressed with the bottomless brunch. Not one bad dish in the 9 or 10 items we tried. A couple of the best dishes were the fried zucchini, donuts and mini pancakes! I loved that the pizza was crispy throughout and not soggy in the middle. The restaurant is beautiful and very spacious with plenty of room for larger groups. Service was friendly. The price of the brunch was a great value and the free, bottomless mimosas for ladies was an added bonus surprise! We will definitely return!
Great service excellent food definitely recommend the cheese boards. Nice portion great value would definitely come back.
Great for date night
Over promised, under delivered. Server was overbearing and insisted on mansplaining everything as if we were inept. The food was TGI Friday level, no offense to TGI Friday’s.
Really lovely meal huge portions !
Our waitress was great .
Only negative was the lighting , had to shine the light from my phone onto the menu as so dark .
Food was very average at Brunch. Dinner maybe different.
Nice manager. Waiter had no idea what he was talking about, but spoke with authority and conviction anyway. Really disgusting food. Soggy, saturated, inedible garlic cheese vbread. Grey pillows of mashed potatoes floating in warm milk masquerading as gnocchi in cream sauce. Pizza crust tasting like a burned biscuit with piles of sauce on bottom and top of cheese. Chef Boyardee-like spaghetti and a caprese with hunks of warmish mozzarella and a sliver of sun dried tomato on top. Reminded me of airplane food. Also — kind of pricey.
Lovely place, up and coming. I've already told everyone I know to come here. Amazing food! And great service!
First of all using the Open Table app for reservations is awesome. We were a party of 5. Mia's is definitely a place for good friends & family to enjoy great food.
I got the fettuccini Alfredo and it was the best I've ever eaten. I don't know why it's not listed on the menu but ask for it. The building is fabulous inside & restrooms are so very clean. Joe was our server & he was excellent. Always checking on us:) This is a must place to eat when on I-Drive.
This was my third visit . Our waiter suggested the Sunday gravy since I had not tried it previously and I was not disappointed it was delicious and tasted just like my Mother’s All day Gravy (sauce). Definitely will be back !
I loved everything! The food was amazing!
Alessandra was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. He clearly loves his job and was very friendly and professional. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back.
Awesome place, very good food. The service was good . Some what quiet. Yhe food came out quickly.
Really excited to try this restaurant. Heard amazing things about it. Overall the food was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. But service was unbelievable slow. Yes we were a large party but the restaurant was dead. We were sitting for 58 minutes before food hit the table. We had to keep tracking our server down for refills as well which was beyond frustrating.
This place was awesome! Food was excellent but be prepared to sit there awhile. They make everything fresh in house so food comes out slow but it’s worth the wait, trust me! Also the drinks are delicious but super small for the price, think 1950’s servings and glass sizes.
Great deal with all you can eat. We recently visited Italy (Florence and Rome) and the pasta we had here was very authentic. Every dish we had was delicious.
Great relaxing meal here & with the bottomless menu choices for brunch, we tried 6 different menu items between the two of us. Very fun dining experience with delicious & vast offerings!
This was our second visit and we can't explain how much we love this place. Every dish we ordered was fabulous yet again and we tried a bunch of new things we didn't have last time.
Great food. Great ambience
Decent food, nothing spectacular. The food all tasted pretty good. The place is new so the service was so-so I think they are learning how to get everything done
Excellent service. The food was disappointing. The meatball appetizer was good, the spaghetti carbonara was dry and peppery and very salty. The veal piccara was tough, and the lemon sauce was burnt and brown.
Fantastic service. Victoria went above and beyond to explain the menu. Bartender was beyond accommodating with a custom drink request. Ordered appetizers and two entrees. All were delicious - the quality was outstanding. Would highly recommend this restaurant without hesitation. If this restaurant were in our neck of the woods we would be regulars. Thank you for a great dinner & experience!
The food and service were outstanding. Highly recommend!!
Great food!! Music too loud. Had to yell across table!
Lovely ambiance, food and great service, good value for money, lovely evening had by all of our party
wasn't thrilled but was not dissapointed either. the two negatives I have are the 2 items i wanted on what seemed to be a not so busy day were not available. the prices seamed a bit on the high end for that the food level was. on a bright side, the pasta was fantastic. the difference between there hand made pasts and others is huge....makes me want to try all of there pasts dishes. the service was fantastic as well. will for sure be trying them again
I highly recommend the Bottomless Brunch. We were able to try everything on the menu we wanted at a reasonable price. The mimosas were the best we’ve had, the food was excellent and our server Justin was outstanding. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be back often.
