The food, the ambiance, and the service were all excellent. Honestly the best Italian food we as a family have ever eaten.
The sausage stuffed calamari is a fabulous unique dish. Even thoroughly enjoyed by a friend who does not generally eat sausage.
Nice ambiance, delicious food and drinks for a night out with my loved one. Perfect.
Good food, good vibes, good people. I’ll be sure to return.
Excellent food! Duck pizza was OUTSTANDING! Nice portions to split! Building is super charming!
Excellent food great customer service.. Great date night live
We loved everything!! The food was delicious, our out of town guests really enjoyed themselves. I don’t recall our servers name unfortunately, but she was young from Poland I believe. Very efficient and friendly. Also, Thank you Daddy Pablo for always making sure the food is delicious. So. GOOD. #pullmyhair. 🥰
Food was SO SALTY! We had to return two of the meals.
Mia's has a very nice physical location-nicely decorated and comfortable. Their choice of music is unfortunate-70's pop at very loud levels. They would benefit from cutting back the volume and considering more of a mix of music.
The service was very good, and our family can definitely recommend the pizza.
This is a good place to bring kids.
Service was excellent.
Food outstanding. We shared 3 entrées, giant meatball and pizza.
Each one was delicious.
Food is delicious! We’ll be back!
Zucchini fritters have heavy batter…. Deep dish pizza is yum-o.
Dinner was delicious! The staff was very attentive.
Great pizza! Lots of tasty pasta and Italian dishes. Fun cocktails too. Try the Wallop. Really good! Excellent location in Old town Alexandria.
Great atmosphere, fun to sit outside and staff was friendly and attentive. Food wasn’t so good though.
It was overall great! The zucchini fries were a little
Too heavy as an app but the personal pizza is super yummy.
It was great
The food wasn’t very good.Pizza:the dough is Very thick, carbonara:THICK noodles, burnt pieces of bacon. The butter+cheese pasta from the children’s menu was good. The calamari stuffed with spicy sausage……..We didn’t understand this thing.
The servers were very sweet though and nice cocktails!
The Bottomless Brunch is fantastic, but make sure you’re hungry when you go! The food is excellent and the portions substantial.
yummy yummy!! love this place so much will always come back. great menu, food and ambiance
The food and location are excellent. The server was great but it looks like they are short some staff which adds a little time to the event- not a bad thing but if speed is your need- be advised and prepared to enjoy your meal. Super drink options including N/A versions
We go ones at month to enjoy the good food for very good price that the brunch offer! the only bad thing is that they dont bring a bill were you can see how much you will pay. i will recommend to use the normal sistem or find a better way to do it, so we can tip the service and also understand what we pay. But I highly recommend this place!!
Very loud and noisy restaurant (ceilings and walls reverbrate the noise which causes guests to talk louder and louder to hear themselves). Great food with an excellent wine list, and the decor is simple yet pleasing.
I went with a friend to celebrate our new jobs and upcoming moves. It was loud inside and the tables were very close to each other. However, it still felt intimate and private when we were eating. The food was -ok-. The Bronzino I ordered was delicious but the pasta my friend ordered was *just* a little too Al dente. It could have used another couple minutes. The food was a touch salty as well. The waitress did a great job recommending a wine and I found a new favorite wine. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would probably go back.
The food was very delicious and fresh and our server (Michael) was very outgoing and was able to answer the many questions we had about the menu. I would recommend this restaurant to others.
Friends that live nearby introduced me to this place 2 years ago. Now it is a can't miss when I'm in the D.C. area- so happy to be able to introduce more of my family & friends to this place!!! Amazing food!!!!!!!
Food was mediocre compared to other upscale Italian restaurants my husband and I have been to. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t outstanding either.
My husbands tea was not sweet, which was a surprise.
The restaurant was very loud but we expected some noise on a Friday night.
Our sever only came to our table 2-3 times, and we waited for over 20 minutes for her to return to our table with our card. We are typically in and out of nice sit down restaurants without an hour-75 minutes, but we were there for a little over 2 hours.
I always love the food at Mia's! This was my first time for brunch and the food was still amazing. The drink specials definitely weren't worth the price. You're better off buying a bottle of prosecco. Once you pick your first drink for $8, you have to stick with that the rest of the time to take advantage of the refill pricing. We found all three of their brunch cocktails to be entirely too sweet/sugary. Service was a little bit wonky, we chalked it up to being at the tail end of brunch and the staff was tired and generally "over brunch." We ordered a sangria after the first round of drinks came out and it took over 20 minutes to arrive.
This place books up fast!! I tried to schedule a morning time almost a week in advance and all they had was 2 pm. I'd recommend going earlier if possible.
All this being said, I really do love their food and usually, their service is incredible. I think the timing was the biggest factor in our experience.
Hosted my sister’s bridal shower brunch here! They were so accommodating and everyone raved about the food!
Great food! Great ambiance!
Our first time at this restaurant, we enjoyed everything from the food, the service and the ambiance.
The weather was perfect to be able to sit outdoors. The music was just a bit loud but everything else was great.
We will definitely return again.
Pizzas were delicious!
Host was wonderful, he had great suggestions when he found out it was our first time at the restaurant. Our waitress was subpar she filled our glasses was warm water and never refilled when they were empty. The restaurant had a nice feel to it but I’ll try other restaurants before coming back.
Everything was good- except the food. The pasta wasn’t that great to the point I would bring someone to try it. The sangria was literally juice (barely any alcohol), but a good juice lol. The pizza’s were tiny from what I saw. The ambiance is nice, and the service was good. I would come back if I was desperate for Italian but it wouldn’t be my first choice
Thank you so much for your feedback. We take great pride in the quality and flavor of our food and we are disappointed we missed our mark. We hope you will give us another chance to impress you.
We had a very nice time, the food was delicious!
We had a group of 7 to celebrate a few birthday’s and we had to wait for seating when the previous customer lingered longer than expected. This would not have been an issue if the restaurant did not bypass the opportunity to seat us earlier at a different table that was adequate for our party size to instead seat a party if 3.
The food was ok, but a bit pricy. The appetizer mozzarella bread was dry and should have been accompanied by olive oil and was definitely not worth the cost. My lasagna was not lasagna, but rather a bowl of mushrooms, tomatoes, noodle, and sauce covered in cheese and baked until the cheese was a hard crust. The pastas and personal pizzas were good. This was an ok visit, but the staff seemed to be overwhelmed and the food quality suffered as a result.
Food was wonderful! Went two nights in a row for dinner. First night we ate outside and had excellent service. Second night ate inside and service was not as good. Our waitress was not friendly and was lazy.
The food is reliably very good, both the pastas and pizzas. One remark is that the restaurant can only seat large (5+) groups upstairs, but there is no elevator. So for those patrons who are elderly or have restricted mobility, it's an issue.
The pasta dishes were delicious. Definitely going back 2 try the rest of the menu.
Food crusted menus, dirty table, dirty glassware (had to ask for a new wine glass twice because of crusted food that scraped off), slow service, missing silverware, witnessed the table next to us ask for a wine glass instead of a cup and be told “that’s not how Italians drink their wine.” The food was good but the cleanliness and service issues ruined the experience, we just wanted to finish our meal and leave.
