Mia's Italian Kitchen
The inspiration came from one of the partner’s unique relationship with his great-grandmother – she didn’t speak a word of English, so they communicated through food. Originally from Naples, Italy, she used easy, simple, raw ingredients - an approach that Mia’s will carry over in our own menu, which will include house-made pasta, Italian sandwiches, charcuterie, and square pizzas.

The coffee was terrible, flavorless. As well, the fruit plate we received had mostly unripe, hard fruit on it. It had to be sent back. Luckily, the rest of the meal was good and service quality was excellent.
We can’t wait to go back. Our food and drinks were so delicious and everyone was friendly and helpful.
Staff was great and the restaurant is really nice. However, the food is mediocre. I had a rigatoni bolognese that was drowning in an awful red sauce with hardly any meat. My husband had the chicken parmigiana, which was good.
This was the second time I have been to Mia's and it was just as good as the first! Great restaurant for either a date or a group outing.
Absolutely loved the food and ambiance! Love that they had so many gluten options. Great place to go in beautiful weather.
We love it, we eat here often the food is always great! The service is consistently good. The fresh home made pastas are fantastic and the pizza is awesome. They also have great drinks if your a Gin lover try the "True Delight" it's awesome! We also go on Wine Wednesday a lot when you get 50% off wine and you can even take any leftover home with you.
The food was delicious, although the portion sizes are a bit large. We could've shared the dishes and still been full. The atmosphere is wonderful. We all loved it and will definitely go back!
I found the food to be prepared by the in-house chef to be quite salty.
The food is just mediocre. Service was good. The building is beautiful and in a good location. I ordered eggplant parmesan and that is all I got, with a small dollop of cheese red sauce on top. The rest was dry and no pasta to go with it, which I have never seen. Who likes to eat dry eggplant parmesan? How much could a small portion of spaghetti and a bit more sauce be? That just seems cheap to me.
Very fresh Italian food
We were seated almost immediately, in a nice table in the back. Plenty of room for the 5 of us, service was fantastic, and food is always amazing. No complaints up to this point and this is probably my 4th time going. Excellent place to eat, keep up the great work!
Pasta was fresh and hand made, especially the one w black pepper and olive oil!! Kudos! Only wish our wine came in a wine glass and not a rocks glass...
Excellent service from the bar to our seating outside. Shoot out to Sandy at the bar and our waiter, Tommy. Awesome experience!
Service is great. Went out of their way for my cocktail! Downstairs is noisy. Upstairs is great!
Overall excellent restaurant. Good food, quick service, generous portions. The main concern I had was the excessive noise level.
great meal. Great service. Good times. Highly recommend.
We were in town for our annual export compliance training and enjoyed our dinner at Mia's. Our waiter Nathan was very accommodating and friendly. He made our visit very welcoming. The food was delicious, especially the hand made pasta. The cannolis and cheesecake we had to go, they were delicious. We also tried the zucchini fries that were a great compliment to our meal. We will be dining here again.
The warm olives with their grilled bread was outstanding. We shared the carbonara and it was the best ever. Very relaxing atmosphere and not as stuffy as the other Italian restaurant up the street. Can’t wait to go back.
Homemade pasta dishes definitely worth the below great standard waitress. We had to constantly remind the waitress we'd like some water. Getting it refilled was just as bad. All other tables seemed to have a bottle of water on the table! Also had to ask for condiments more than once. What the heck? Expensive just for pasta...no salad or even bread with the meal.
Overall, the food was good and decently priced. Great value in the pizza and the homemade pasta noodles were above-average. Atmosphere was great and the restaurant itself was very visually pleasing and crowded. My wife and I do not plan on returning to the restaurant again, due to the service that we received. No complaints with the food-- it was good, but then again there are plenty of restaurants with good food. Our issue with the service is a reflection of our individual server and not of the restaurant as a whole. Our waiter paid us little attention throughout our time at the restaurant, coming to our table solely to take our drink order (ordered two glasses of wine, but he brought us the entire bottle instead and would have opened it and charged us for the overpriced bottle had we not caught his mistake and corrected him before he opened it) and then to take our food order before we even received our drinks as we waited nearly 10 minutes for our glasses of wine to be brought out after correcting him of his mistake. The waiter at the table next to us was exemplary and served as a constant reminder of the shortcomings of our inattentive waiter. My wife wanted to order dessert after our meal, however, she quickly lost any desire of ordering it after waiting 10+ minutes for our waiter after we had finished our meal. After waiting for some time, we grew impatient and asked another waiter to bring us our bill as our waiter was no where to be found.
Due to this experience, we will certainly not return to Mia's in the future. To reiterate, our negative experience with the restaurant's service was more likely a one-off situation, rather than a reflection of the restaurant as a whole.
Special occasion with family visitors. Food wonderful. Server was nice person but evening was saved by the intervention by the manager. Still very good food. A C- night got turned into an A event by the manager. Regardless. This was our 6th visit and still highly recommend.
Very good overall. Will switch to this being my first choice of Italian in Old Town.
Food was delicious. Jamieson (Server) was attentive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed experience. This was our first time dining at Mia’s. Although, we have dined at your other restaurants. Love ARP’s concepts.
Fantastic authentic food! Will certainly be dining here again!!
The food is great, but the drink pours are tiny and take forever. I finished my appetizer before my cocktail arrived. And, as I said, it was tiny.
Food was delicious. Third time there, but noise level much more noticeable at dinner. Had lunch two prior occasions.
Fabulous food and service. We had a lovely time! Thank you!
Old town needs Mia like spaghetti needs meatball. Definitely try for yourself
The food, staff, environment and location is were great! Definitely will be coming back again in the future.
Great family style brunch
Good food and a party vibe! Very popular place with all ages. They easily accommodated our group of 7. Our group included 3 kids - 13, 12 and 4 and each found something they loved to eat! Highly recommend Mia's.
We've been to Mia's many times since they opened a year ago and typically LOVE it but Saturday night was different, they weren't on their game. First, our reservations weren't in their system but I showed them my confirmation email. They were able to squeeze us in but how do they just lose reservations. My wife ordered a dish that she's had before but when she got it, it had a lot of cream in it. It has never been a cream based dish. My wife can't handle cream based foods. The menu needs to reflect that the dish we got has cream like their other dishes do. Our waiter wasn't very attentive, it seemed like he either had too many tables or was preoccupied with something else.
Outstanding service, dinner, drinks and ambiance - exceptional value and experience
Our server Candace was great! Food was delicious. I had the mushroom pizza and my husband had the pasta special.
Average food, SLOW service. Waiter was nice enough but he disappeared at one point and our food took forever to come out. If you want Italian in old town there are two better options across the street.
MIa's was an ok place to eat. I would recommend it to friends that wanted a place to go in Old Town that was well located. Food was ok, but nothing to be excited about and desserts (cheesecake and cannoli) took 20 minutes to arrive after ordering.
It was great food and our server was awesome!
Really cool spot. Great homemade pasta. Really good value for the area also.
My wife and I had a date night in Old Town. OpenTable worked like a charm, we arrived early but weren’t seated until our reservation time, this was fine. We shared a pizza for an appetizer which was great, it was hot and fresh. The issue was with our entrees, both of our meals came out luke warm at best. The sauce on my wife’s bolognese pasta looked like it was in the drying stage. The melted cheese on my eggplant parm already hardening. We will go back but only for drinks and pizza, if I’m paying almost $20 for pasta, it better have steam coming off it when it’s brought to the table.
What a beautiful restaurant in the best location in Old Town! With warmer weather, the windows were open to the outdoors, connecting us to the lively street scene. Our food was delicious, with generous portion sizes, and our waiter was entertaining and efficient. A great value!
