Our menu is filled with homestyle traditional Italian recipes sourced from owner Dave Nicholas' Sicilian grandmother. An elegant wine list accompanies beer and craft cocktails on the beverage menu. Great concept. Some of the food could use some flavor (bolognese and Caesar salad). The French toast, mussels, and meatball eggs Benedict were delicious. Our server was very kind and attentive! I wish I could remember her name.

Love this place! We keep coming as a group of 6-8 people and no one is ever disappointed. And we always have picky eaters in the group. Truly an awesome place and great service. Vegetable lasagna is my new fave. I just need a lactaid now to enjoy it 😁

Mia’s has moved into one of our top 5 favorite restaurants in Old Town Alexandria! It’s a modern American take on classic Italian cuisine. The lasagne is probably one of the best we have ever had. It is baked in a personal size skillet and comes out hot and sizzling. Their pizza is of equal quality and excellent. The new “taste of Mia’s” menu option is a great value and offers a little of everything. Atmosphere is lively and is not for those looking for a quite intimate meal. Service is average especially when busy.

Not seated until 35 minutes after reservation despite arriving 10 minutes before. Then more than an hour after ordering before food was served. Then waited a half hour after done eating, had to finally flag down the waitress in a hallway to get and pay the check. Overall we were there 3 hours for a decent meal that should have been completed in half that time. We won’t be back.
