Mia Bella - Greenway Plaza
Our waiter was amazing and our food hot and delicious, first time there but we will be back. It was a little rowdy at the bar when we arrived but we asked the hostess to seat us away from the bar and that helped the noise level. Great treasure finding this restaurant. Thanks
did not benefit much from reservation. Had a reservation at 9, turned up at 9 but had to wait for 30 minutes!servers were great-made potato gnocchi for us upon request even though it was not in their menu for that day
Beautfiul atmosphere, great customer service and awesome food. Had a great dinner date with my fiancé, highly recommend it.
The service was amazing. From the time we walked in, to the time we left. My boyfriend and I were there celebrating Valentine’s Day. We were greeted at the door and waited for our reservation time. Our server (can’t remember his name) young Hispanic guy, was simply awesome! Very friendly and always had a smile on him! We will definitely recommend our experience.
We really like this restaurant however it was not a great ide for Valentine’s Day. The menu was attractive but the flavors were weak. The service was as always excellent!
The portions of roasted cauliflower appetizer and kale salad were generous enough to share between the four of us. All of us enjoyed our entrees. The Chicken Parm led to a clean plate. The build-your-own pasta was a perfect plate of pappardelle, grilled shrimp, some veges, and, as I must abstain from fats and spicy acidics, the chef prepared a sauce of broth with a little saffron. It was delightful.
The cocktails were terrific and generously poured. Great crowd of sweetheart couples, senior regulars, and friends sharing an evening. Real grown-up and well-managed..
The food at Mia Bella is delicious. The owner and manager are fantastic! Very personable place and very accommodating! Really enjoy every visit which is regularly , usually weekly. Great vibes!
We were seated on time. Our waiter pretended to recognize us and welcomed us back to the restaurant. He proceeded to review the daily specials. We split an unremarkable kale and asparagus salad. The salad was basically kale with about 1 spear of asparagus cut into 1/4” pieces, a few raisins and a sprinkle of cheese. Ok but one that would not be ordered again. We both had the tuna with mushroom risotto. My husband thought it was good. My tuna was a bit overcooked at the ends but otherwise fine. I thought the vegetables were good but the risotto was a thick lump not of proper consistency. The warm bread brought to us before the salad was by far the best food we had for our dinner. Thus, my 3 star rating...
The veal scallopini was over cooked. Loud and irritating customers. Could have been the time we went, (almost 10pm). Service was good, when I complained about the veal they offered to replace it or take it off the bill.
Great food with excellent attentive service in a pleasant atmosphere at a good price!
Met another couple & celebrated our anniversary. Asked for quiet table and was seated in back room which is quieter than main dining room, but large group was at a table beside us and they were loud at times. Overall good food, we all had various build your own pasta dishes and all were good. Wine was good & they have a nice selection. Server was very good and appeared when we needed her. Parking is in garage behind restaurant in same building. Overall a very nice evening. Will return, one of my favorite places.
Service was terrific and the food was delicious. We all had different pasta dishes and everyone was very pleased.
It was amazing as usual!!
Good food and good prices. Service was great, including the wonderful hostess and bartender while I waited for the rest of my party. The puttanesca appetizer was just ok for $11 and didn’t come with enough toast rounds — only 4 small ones. We asked for more and were charged $2, which was petty considering there weren’t enough. No worries, just a small issue but notable nonetheless. The limoncello martinis were a hit and probably made up for the app. The lamb meatball pasta and the grilled salmon entree were fantastic. The pork chop and chicken piccata were both over cooked, the latter was a strange version of the classic — I wasn’t expecting a marinara type sauce and for me it didn’t work. The ambience was great and noise level was thankfully low enough for conversation. We’ll definitely be back to give it another try.
The table was ready when we got there, and our waiter was great and very knowledgeable. We especially liked the grilled cauliflower for an appetizer. I would highly recommend.
Fantastic homemade pasta! The bread is amazing!
Wonderful food, very attentive service
Was there on a Friday around 7pm. The place was jammed and the kitchen was slammed. The food was good, the pork chop was a little dry but the flavor was excellent. Even though every table was full, the service was excellent. Our waiter checked on us several times and the owner and I assume his wife also checked on us. Definitely recommend it and will be back.
We liked the main courses more than the appetizers. Although, the appetziers were good, some much better then other items.
I have never had anything I didn’t like! My go-to!
All 4 people in our party LOVED our food and the atmosphere. We would love to eat here again next time we are in Houston.
It was wonderful! We had to wait a bit for our drinks, but it was a full house and our server was very courteous and came to greet us immediately. The food was amazing! The mushroom croquettes were absolutely delicious and the sauce that came with it could be bottled and sold. As a pasta lover through and through, the pasta was so fresh! I would definitely recommend this place! It is especially great for a date night!
This is our second time to Mia Bella. However this time the service was poor compared to the first time. Also we had ordered sun dried pesto Sauce for our ravioli but received Alfredo. It was disappointing.
Had a great dinner here. The food was delivered steaming hot (this is a big one for me). My wife is a vegetarian, so having pastas and several sauces to choose from along with the ability to choose additional veggies to be added was a HUGE plus for her. She loved the Jalapeno Pesto Creamy Sauce. A gentleman named Israel was our waiter. He was exceptional. Drinks were full the whole time, and he was attentive to the point where all I had to do was look his way and he would come over to see what I needed. Nice experience.
Specified in reservation this was for a birthday but there was no acknowledgement at all of this occasion by the establishment. Ordered chicken Marsala, chicken was dry and the gnocchi on the side had the taste and texture of frozen boiled gnocchi and was a little too firm. I’ve been here once before and the prior experience was better, but I’m not sure if I’ll come back.
Celebrated a birthday lunch at Mia Bella and had a wonderful positive experience. The Manager and waiting staff were all very friendly, efficient and attentive. The food was delicious and everyone in our group enjoyed their varied dishes. The pasta was great and the sandwiches and salads were decent portions and very tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Mia Bella is one of my favorites when I’m in Houston. Went there at least once or twice on every trip. This time the food was as usually outstanding but the wine was a bit of a disaster. They run out of their Malbec, which was quite nice, so I ordered a Montepulciano which was undrinkable (smelled bad and left an acid taste in my mouth that hurt) so I switched to a Californian red which smelled good but was also way to acid to enjoy it. The Montepulciano was taken off the bill without me asking, which was nice. All in all I will again go there on my next visit to Houston hoping they will get the Malbecs back on there wine list.
Consistently good food and service for lunch and dinner.
Start to finish was great. Took a chance on the holiday menu and got to experience dishes that I may never have considered. Great work Team awesome
Attractive and spacious dining room. Interesting menu; food was excellent and service good. I plan to return.
Great food. Terrific wine value. Friendly service. Not quiet, but manageable. Scallops and eggplant were excellent. Very good calamari. Pinot bianco is recommended.
Cute place. Great ambience. Good food. Good wine. Reasonable price!
Delicious fresh salmon ! Risotto and asparagus
Great environment for business meal.
Always good food and service. Attractive
Setting Jalapeño pasta was not good. Too
Thick but everything else tasty
Deliciosa toda la comida !!!
We have been to Mia Bella several times. The food and the service never fail to impress us. Our waiter Elio was very helpful and attentive. He made suggestions; he recommended the specials, and the osso buccco special was outstanding, the best of any Houston restaurant. Prices are reasonable. We look forward to a return visit and highly recommend Mia Bella to others.
overall a good experience. our server was good but did not convey that she knew the difference between a carbonara and a pomodoro sauce.
We had a large party for dinner, and everything was fantastic. Cocktails, apps, entrees, and desserts were all spot on. Half our group lives out of town, but the ones who live nearby will certainly be coming back!
What I love about Mia Bella is that they offer spectacular dishes, provide outstanding services all for prices you can't find anywhere else.
Stopped by the Greenway Plaza location for dinner with my girls this weekend. Made our reservations through OpenTable and was seated immediately upon arrival. The space is absolutely stunning, minimal and modernist in style with plenty of natural light. The service was spectacular as it appeared to be a collaborative effort by all staff members (even though we had our assigned waiter).
The complimentary Focaccia is absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft and tender and moist on the inside. The olive oil, balsamic dip just seals the deal.
We started with the steamed mussels to share. The white wine, lemon, garlic & roasted tomato butter is a great compliment to the mussels. Everyone loved it.
For the main dishes, we went for: seafood lasagna, chicken parmigiana and cilantro jalapeno fettuccini scampi. All were delicious however, I found the cilantro and jalapeno infused scampi too strong in flavors that you don't get to enjoy the other ingredients in the dish.
They are very accommodating and offer gluten free options as well as Create Your Own (CYO) options for every category on the menu so you're bound to find something you love regardless of your dietary preference. I noticed a private room where they were hosting a graduate party so this location is also great for large parties.
