Food was fresh and atmosphere was very pleasant. Very nice variety and the calamari was unique in its preparation and the best I have ever had anywhere.
All I can really say is WOW!. Upon arrival you’ll notice that it blends in well with the residential area that it is situated in. To me, those are the best places to eat and boy was I right! From the time we were greeted to the time we left, everything was second to none! The food was by far the best Italian food that my wife and I have ever eaten. The service was outstanding and the waitresses were polite, fun, and just awesome! The best part about this place to me was when the chef/owner had come out to check on his guests. He made sure everyone was in a good mood and enjoying his food. We will definitely go back very soon!!!
Amazing!! In the top 5 Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to! Will definitely return when I’m back in the area!
Fantastic! We will definitely return! Thank you for a fantastic dinner. Our server was wonderful!
The food was done to perfection. Our waiter was pleasant, efficient and accommodating. The outdoor seating is comfortable and provides a nice environment. Parking is limited but workable. The owner stops by each table to say hello and to assure everything is good.
Mi Scuzi is always excellent. We had mussels and a clam soup for appetizers. We split a pepperoni pizza and salad for our entrée. We could've gotten by with the smaller salad. Food was great as always. Just not hungry enough to eat pasta.
The food and service was great. The table next to us was extremely loud and we couldn’t even have a conversation. The server had to stop twice to wait for the table to hush so she could continue talking. Other than that it was great.
Went for our 15 year anniversary and the chef didn’t disappoint. Superb meal followed by dessert and coffee. Highly recommended...!!!
I had the go to Sea Bass again.. It was phenomenal.. My husband had the creamy shrimp alfredo- So good. The warm buns with parmesan cheese are delicious. I suggest going here to eat while in Erie!
Great as always.
Service was outstanding as always
We wanted to like this little neighborhood restaurant, and it tried hard to be good but just couldn't succeed. The portions of pasta were enormous....too big. My order of simple angel hair with marinara and veggies was so watery that I had to ask for extra marinara. Yuck. My dinner companion's pasta was also way too large and didn't have much flavor. The bread knots that came with our appetizer were tasty. The appetizer, a cheesy/onion dish, was tasty. It was very rich and, again, a large portion. Three of us couldn't finish it. The soda that my daughter ordered was "watery" according to her.
It was sent back. The salads were all fine. The service was okay but it seemed like another server was needed in the outdoor space for better flow.
I would not recommend this place based on the meals we had.
We were very disappointed. I has a gift certificate I was saving for a special night out and it was anything but a great experience. Our food was bland and the chicken was dry. The sweet italian sausage had no flavor as well. The cook came out and kindly tried to replace my dish so I accepted his offer. He tried to fix it but it was still just satisfactory. They did offer us dessert so we chose the peach/blueberry pastry one. We should have just kindly said no thank you. It was horrible. The crust was burnt and had a smokey flavor throughout not to mention it was not homemade. The real surprise of the night was when we got the bill and discovered the $5.00 service fee for cleaning. Watch out for that one!!!
Outdoor dining area under a grape arbor was charming. Tables well spaced, and Covid management was in place. Good martinis. Food was tasty and in good portions. We would go there again in a heartbeat
Just want to put in a plug for Erie. First time visitors from Maryland Eastern Shore, and would go back.
Servers were impeccable. Food was outstanding. Only complaint was we requested outside dining. The table was too low for the height of the chairs and unstable patio had our chairs rocking throughout dinner and really couldn't get comfortable at our seating.
The pasta and sauce were excellent the sausage with peppers was superb
Dined outside with friends. Beautiful patio with white patio lights and cascading vines, hanging flowers. Mussels and stuffed peppers to start. Both excellent. Misto salads next. Sea bass (3 people ordered this) and steak special for our main course. Everything was fantastic!
Always a good experience and the food never disappoints
I highly recommend excellent experience! Great place!
We picked this place to try for the first time and made a reservation for patio seating for dinner. The weather rained off and on, but the owner checked in several times and assured us if it rained harder, they could accommodate our party of 4 inside! The patio is very quaint, as well as, is inside (when we had to get moved)! We had serval servers check in on us throughout our meal. We all had different pasta dishes which were absolutely DELICIOUS, and the portion sizes were very generous. Overall experience, service, and meal definitely deserve a 10/10.
I had a pork dish and the pork was over done. Salad and pasta work great
We were in Erie for a three day get away and wanted to enjoy some Italian food. We found Mi Scuzi on Open Table. The restaurant is located in a cute little neighborhood near downtown Erie. Due to COVid we sat out on their patio. It was so relaxing and the service was excellent. Our waitress did an excellent job making recommendations. The food was delicious. At the completion of our meal, the owner came out and greeted us and asked us if our two young boys would like to see the fish tank. Thanks for making our evening enjoyable and memorable. We were so happy to discover this neighborhood gem.
Everything perfect, a very nice place
We found the restaurant on Trip Advisor. They are charging a $2.50 service charge to help with the cost of extras cleaning. It’s ridiculous considering we sat at our table the entire meal and didn’t move around. Our waitress was very short with us, almost just throwing out plates and drinks on the table. There were 7 of us in the party so you think you’d be a bit nicer to get a good tip.
Food was pretty good but prices a bit high for the quality.
Owner seemed friendly and visited with the patrons eating.
They now have a nice little outdoor space to accommodate outdoor seating during Covid. Very nice. The tomato mozzarella salad and the wedding soup were fantastic. They were Also accommodating and able to cut another one of their Appetizers, the oepperonata, in half because only one of us could eat it. The giant ravioli were also fantastic. The service was very personal and the chef even came out at the end. Excellent surprise find in Erie. We will be back!
Excellent food, great service!! Definitely recommend!
The pasta and meatballs were excellent as well as their sauce a chicken français of cooked to perfection
Great dinner. Chef/owner came out and talked to us and made the experience that much better. Food was of excellent quality. It was a great night out
Get the Chilean Sea Bass. It’s worth every penny!!! Delicious Ceasar salad! Even the fresh yeast rolls served with olive oil and shaved Parmesan cheese were AMAZING! LOVE this place!
The food and service was amazing. We enjoyed finding this restaurant and dining there.
Well set up for social distancing; Chef Michael is a wizard in the kitchen and a warm host in his house. Every item that n the menu has his unique touch. The best.
Went to Mi Scuzi for my wife’s birthday on some of my families recommendation. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed! The food was incredible and the service was outstanding. This is a hidden gem in the city of Erie. We are planning to go back next week!
Disappointing, given the reviews and the prices. Appetizer served incorrectly from menu description. Not credited on bill. Entrees messy on the plates, and not as described. Seafood special to have shrimp, there was one. Scallops, there were none. Sauce was too sweet and too thick. Overall, they appeared to not be prepared fir reopening. Five people, $250. Too expensive for sub par experience.
Awesome Italian fare with a quiet atmosphere. The entree was beautifully presented, the opera music softly in the background was a nice addition. Save room for cheesecake with bordulux cherry, yum yum. Very nice and affordable vino selection. This is one of Eries best dining experience.
Excellent food and presentation! The sea bass was melt in your mouth and the rolls with oil and fresh parm were to die for. We sat on their outdoor patio with the green trellis over head. The chef and owner Michael came out to great all of the tables which was a nice touch. I can't wait to return when we visit from Pittsburgh!
Food was excellent - as always. It's a new day for restaurants and being outside was a different experience - the wine made it all good. Good time, food and company. Glad we were able to be there.
The restaurant was half empty she we got there and open table said there were only two time slots open. The waitress new nothing about opentable.
Excellent service and food. The thin mint martini's were awesome!
Amazing meal, our group shared the mussel appetizer and the mi scuzi pizza to start. The mussles in red sauce were out of this world with flavour. The entrees ordered included Pollo alla vodka, osso bucco, and the sea bass. Each of us had a taste of each others and every meal was amazingly delicious. Loved that the owner came out to speak with us and our Waitress (Lindy) was wonderful. Will definitely go back!
Excellent food with friendly service in a quiet atmosphere. This restaurant is located in a neighborhood and has a special ambiance. We look forward to our next visit.
