We had a reservation for outside & the weather was not good, si we were able to get a table inside. We were able to change our table from a 2 to a 4, for more room. The service was great & the people were very personable. Dinner was delicious & we will definitely return.
We’re looking forward to our next visit.
The food was definitely not of the same quality as a few years ago. Very disappointing. Made us wish we had stayed home.
The food was absolutely incredible! We truly enjoyed out experience and our waiter was so kind!
During our reservation we had indicated it was our anniversary, it
Wasn’t even acknowledging.
The foos was meh, but the service was outstanding! We had a lively table outside and were very comfortable.
I have made better meals at home. I believe it is overpriced.
Eaten here many time but this did not match the fine dining experiences I have had in the past. Server forgot cappuccinos ordered with desert and failed to bring one of the ordered salads. The presentation of the Tiramisus looked like theywere just thrown on the plate; makes me wonder how fresh it was. Taste was okay. My sister's rissoto was barely warm although the bass served with it was very hot and delcicious. No other issues but just not the high quality dining experince I have always had here.
Great place. Would highly recommend it. The food is all good and the service has always been good - not easy to find that these days.
Our second time at Mi Scuzi, and it was very good. We could tell how busy they were since it was a Saturday night, but our food came out timely. The food itself was fantastic, and sitting outside made it much more romantic. Can't wait to go back :)
The food was great and good service. Really enjoyed the outside seating!
10/10, for sure would go back.
Great food and service. Will definitely go back.
Great food at a place I would not have found if it were t for the Internet. Would return again.
Owner came out and went table to table. You could tell he knew his guests personally- probably they are all local - we were not.
Servers were very nice and professional
Ambiance cozy and welcoming
This is a casual comfy cute restaurant
Excellent garlic rolls and I had linguine with white clam sauce which was very good. My daughter had chicken Marsala she liked it. The others at the table had dishes with red sauce which I didn’t care for. I like a sweeter sauce not so tomato a lot of acid. But that’s my preference. What counts is they enjoyed it!
The food was amazing and service outstanding! Small family run restaurant. The best!
The food was delicious. The bottle of red we ordered was actually too warm. And our cheese cake dessert was still partially frozen. We did mention this to our waitress. Our waitress was very friendly but over zealous. She must of visited our table at least six times in less than an hour and was wanting to clear the plates before we were finished. We kinda chuckled at that. There were empty tables so why the rush.
The food was very bland. Not worth the money. The service was great.
Overall good. 3 in our party for a birthday celebration. Two meals were excellent. One not so much, chicken Marsala was dry and overcooked. The owner did come out later to apologize, wanted to make it right but at that point my husband didn’t want to make a fuss or wait for something else. Waitress was excellent, outside patio had very nice ambiance. I would go back to try again for sure.
The food was outstanding! The service was very nice too. The prices are ridiculous though. I ordered the ribeye she suggested from the specials. Didn't quote a price. I was in shock when the bill came and it was $59 for the steak meal!! Wasn't prepared to see that much. It was good but I don't think I'd ever pay that much for a meal again.
The food was delicious, there was lovely Italian music playing in the background.
This was our first visit to Mi Scuzi. We found the food to be delicious! The meal was a bit on the pricey side considering a salad/vegetable was not included, but it was definitely very tasty.
This restaurant is a neighborhood gem and a great local experience for anyone traveling to Erie from other areas. It is great that they are now back open for dine-in and enjoying normal restaurant patron traffic.
This place is like finding lost gold!! The neighborhood and exterior are a bit rough, but don’t let that sway you! The food and ambiance of this gem is wonderful! Perfect pasta! We visited on a Sunday, so it was quiet and relaxing. There is an outside patio as well. A new Erie favorite when we’re in the area. ❤️
Took my wife there for our wedding anniversary and we enjoyed everything.
Chose somewhere new for our anniversary dinner, we weren’t disappointed. Great service, fantastic food and a great atmosphere. Just wonderful.
Overall, we had a great dinner at Mi Scuzi. It was our last official date night as husband and wife before our baby girl arrives so we wanted something romantic and cozy. The service wasn't amazing -- it took about 10 minutes for us to get our credit card back after paying. While we weren't in a hurry, and I NEVER complain about service since I was in the service industry for 10 years, my husband and I were getting a little impatient, but it was all right.
Food was delicious - as always! Our server was lovey and very accommodating.
Our dinner began with our appetizer, an exotic and delicious plate of fresh sashimi with wasabi, ginger and marinated red pepper trimmings...exquisite! My husband and I split a full Caesar salad...our most favorite Caesar...we have missed it so! Then my husband ordered his very favorite and standard order of Eggplant Parmesan with angel hair pasta...fortunately there will be plenty for Sunday leftovers. I seldom eat beef anymore, but I could not possibly pass up the Short Rib special...oh my...so glad I didn't! We will have remains of that incredibly scrumptous meal on Sunday as well. So grateful Mi Scuzi (and Michael and his family) survived the pandemic...the lovely seating outside on the covered patio...with familiar faces of staff and friends...a perfect summer evening in Erie...thanks so much Michael!
We chose to be seated on the patio since it was a beautiful summer evening. They sat us at a table in the left corner by the fence next to the alley way. I immediately smelled rotting garbage and noticed tens of large black flies swarming the fence. Through the cracks in the boards we could see garbage cans and garbage piled on top of the cans.
We asked to be moved and the waitress acted like this was the first time anyone asked to be moved away from sitting next to a fence with garbage cans full of rotting who knows what, inches from where we were eating!
We moved inside and enjoyed the rest of our evening. Food portions are HUGE! If you can split a plate, though their is an up charge to split, there is enough to feed 2 or 3 people per plate. The wine pour was generous for $10 glass. Don’t try and park on the street where the address is, there were plenty of spots on adjacent streets.
Excellent meal and outstanding service. Hidden gem!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!
Terrific food and service, as always. We have been there several times, driving 2 hours to Erie from Pittsburgh, and each time we have thoroughly enjoyed the food. Great Cesar salads and pastas, everything served at the proper temperature (hot foods hot, cool foods cool). We will be coming back again.
The food was underwhelming. Chicken was very tough.
Awesome food. Great staff. Wonderful experience can’t wait to go back!!!
excellent service and food, very pretty outdoor garden!
It was a great gem in the city! Was glad to find it driving through on our way to KY!
Had dinner on the patio under grape arbor, very pleasant. Food was excellent, had one the specials, shrimp ravioli, which was delicious and different.
First timer to dine at this restaurant on Saturday night. We found the service was great ( Mel our waitress) and food was excellent ! We had a great time and will certainly go back when in the area again.
The food was incredible, service was outstanding, attentiveness of the staff was amazing. I would highly recommend Mi Scuzi to everyone I know.
Service, food, and the experience were amazing! We frequent MiScuzi’s for special occasions!
Our experience was great, our server was a total sweetheart and seemed to genuinely care about her job even while training, and all of the food was delicious! We would definitely recommend Mi Scuzi and will visit again on a future trip to Erie for sure!
