    Would rate the experience 6/10. Didn’t like you could only order certain amount of shots per table. Manager kept walking around observing everyone eat every 2 mins.

    My family & I love this restaurant Everything about it is great We decided it to be our dining destination each year we visit DC So nice to sit inside, outside yet covered or glasses enclosed patio The service has been consistently kind, friendly & top notch We have enjoyed various menu items from seafood to Carne Asada Cannot give a better overall recommendation

    My experience at Mi Casa is always great! But I wanted to specifically write about my experience with my amazing server, Prudencia! She was awesome, and super accommodating! She checked in on us often and was happy to explain and recommend dishes to our table and kept our bottomless drinks flowing, even though she was super busy- we had excellent service! Can’t wait to be back!

    The service was excellent. Achiote chicken had little flavor, although the corn bread and avocado crema were tasty. The drinks are delicious. Deviled eggs and flan both had a strange taste. Rice is good. Tacos were spicy. Side dishes of corn and plantains were delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, but I wouldn't come back for the food.

    Drinks were so good can’t remember the servers name. He worked the indoor patio, an was a new server. Anyways he was amazing an even allowed my friend an i to change tables due to us being cold from the fan. Good luck in medical school if you see this!!!!

    Great experience on Tuesday night near the end of happy hour. The 90-minute bottomless was well worth it for $39.99. I chose the Ponche de Mi Casa which was perfectly strong and unique. Our server, Shayla, was attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was energetic but not too loud. The appetizer empanadas were delicious. I will certainly be recommending this spot to friends and will be back to try other menu items soon.

    My friend and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday Brunch at Mi Casa, this little gem in the energetic Dupont Circle neighborhood. We opted to do the bottomless brunch cocktails and I need to tell you all -It is so worth it! The issue with bottomless drinks at most restaurants is the inconsistency or poor quality of them, this was not the case AT ALL! The Ponche de Mi Casa is a must have! The starters we ordered were delicious; the Chorizo Deviled Eggs is a bite packed with so many good flavors and the Seared Queso is way better than you think when you order it, then you just want more! And the Tuna Taquitos were so fresh and well dressed, you won’t find bland food here - I can assure you that. But the star arrived when the Entrées hit the table -please, make yourself a huge favor and don’t forget to order the Maíz Dulce Pancakes, no brunch is complete without sweets, right?! What a meal, what an experience!! Everyone was so kind, friendly and hospitable. We were sat by their GM, Marquita - she knows how to give you a warm and professional welcome, taking care of our experience not only checking on us but also building a gracious connection, so she did with all tables around. Our server, RayJon, was so knowledgeable and friendly. He spend quality time offering recommendations and constantly checking on us without making us feel rush at all. Thank you, Mi Casa - we can’t wait to be back!!

    Although the host said she couldn’t find our resys, she sat us promptly after showing her the confirmation. Our server Brian, was very attentive the entire time. When he was going for his break, he let us know and introduced us to our next server. The food, drinks and ambiance was perfect! Definitely recommend!!

    Waited more than 30 minutes when we had a reservation. Hostess told us that the manager was seating walk ins before reservations and that was the delay. Kept telling us we were next but would seat others before us. Manager comped us chips and salsa which were a whole $5 but i don’t think she would have if we didn’t complain. Food was meh. Overpriced for mexican food but large portions. Won’t be coming back.

    Excellent, excellent service. Excellent atmosphere. Great cocktails. Good food. I wasn't blown away and for the price, there are better places for Mexican+ food. I would, however, try it again. The service was exceptional.

    This my first time at Mi Casa and I don’t know if I’d come back. The server Ethan was very nice and attentive. I can’t say the same for the hostess. When I walked in she barely spoke and was not inviting at all. I’m not sure if she’s new/shy and that’s why, but I didn’t appreciate that. The food was decent, nothing to rave over, slightly overpriced but decent. Overall I’d give the restaurant as a whole a 7/10

    The hostess station is one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had while dining (anywhere). We made a reservation for 5 for 615 on a Wednesday night. It was two couples and another friend meeting up. Two people arrived together and checked in with the hostess station at 610 and were politely told that they’d be seated when “1 or 2 more people arrive”. When the other couple arrived at 615 the four of us stood in the doorway in eyesight and earshot from the hostess station patiently waiting to be seated. At 625 the second couple walked up to the hostess station to let them know we’re mostly here (the last person was running late, mind you this is the most popular neighborhood in DC and it was during rush hour, no big deal) and then a different hostess said “we have to wait till all 5 of you are here to seat you”. So we were told two different set of directions from the same hostess station and clearly their own employees aren’t even tracking what the rules are. Mind you, had they just seated us four they would have gotten at least one other round of drinks from us, making more money for the restaurant and more tip for our server. So we stood in the doorway (awkwardly blocking foot traffic) and held our conversation standing over the poor group that was seated at the table closest to the door. They would rather have us stand there for 25 minutes than sit 4 out of the 5 group members. What’s more frustrating is nowhere on OpenTable or on their website does it specify “Hostess upholding draconian law, if not all members of the reservation are present than we will not seat you”. The server was brand new and a hot mess himself but he was trying. Bottom line: poor management. A good manager EASILY has all these sort of wrinkles figured out, get Bar Rescue to send some professionals to Mi Casa in Dupont Circle or do not waste your money here! PLENTY of great options in this neighborhood.

    My most recent visit was my second time. Everything started off very nice until our server and bartender started slacking. Orders were inputted incorrectly, food for my guest and I was served at a 10/15 minute time difference, cocktails took more than 10/15 min to be served. I walked away celebrating my guest birthday feeling embarrassed.
