   Apparently there is more than one "Mi Casa" restaurants in Las Vegas, so making the reservation at the wrong one is on me. However, the correct Mi Casa tried to accommodate us, and told us they could get us in within 10 minutes. We waited for over 30 minutes, as did several other parties. When they finally called us to be seated, they sat us at the first table inside the door, away from all other tables. It was almost as if they went and got a table from the back and placed it where they had extra room. The service was extremely slow. Waited for several minutes (15-20 minutes) before we even saw a waiter. We were served water, chips and salsa and he seemed to have disappeared for another 15 minutes. We decided that when he came back we better be ready to order drinks and our food. We had steak and chicken fajitas and a pitcher of margaritas. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. The atmosphere was very dark. Very disappointed that we felt isolated from the actual restaurant and other patrons.

   Cinco de Mayo at Mi Casa. Mariachi music was a very nice touch to add to dinner. Service was right on, and with the restaurant pretty crowded our server took our order shortly after arriving. Our dinner arrived within a very reasonable time and was delicious. Mi Casa hit it out if the park for us on this visit.

   Said they didn’t have our reservation when we arrived after saying we were already seated. Karen with different last name was apparently. Seated us anyway after I showed my OpenTable confirmation there before me. 3 days later I got seated confirmation and survey. Weird. Food needed to be served hotter (temperature) not spice. Also, took longer than usual to be waited on even though not busy.

   Beautiful restaurant. Nice physical menu, bound in leather. Nice menu options. The fajita was good, but doesn’t have that Mexican seasoned taste. We had to add salsa to it to get that zing!

   I can tell you one thing don’t ever order what they thought was queso. You will literally get a bowl of cheese that has been microwaved and then served hard as a rock. Then when the waitress ask how was your cheese and then laughs at you and still have the nerve to charge you for it.

    The waitress got our order wrong, the food had no taste, the manager came to the table said sorry for the order being wrong and walked away. We waited 15 to 20 minutes until I finally ask someone for our check. After we complained to the manager no every came back to our table. We never got a refill on our drinks or anything. Don’t recommend this place at all to anybody.

    We were so excited for this place because it had 5 stars. We were traveling as a group of 6 so right now we have to make 2 reservations in groups of 4 and 2, they didn’t have one of our reservations but let us sit anyway. It took 10 minutes just to get a drink, another 20 to get our food ordered, and a HOUR after that to get our food. We spent almost 2 hours in there total. 3/6 meals were cold, the two fajita meals were cooked so long ago that the meat was chewy and hard. The 3 groups around us sat for just as long. Then on our way out (after leaving a more than generous tip) they charged us an 18% gratuity because they counted us as a party of 6 even though we had to sit separate. Very disappointed, will never consider it again.
