    Waited 1 hour and 30 mins for mains to arrive and when we received them they where stone cold, meals had to be sent back twice after that we decided to leave without eating our meal

    We had the lunch menu. Food was excellent and great value for money. The portion sizes were great and just right for lunch. Our server was very pleasant and there was a nice gap between the courses so we didn't feel rushed. A great experience on the whole and we will definitely be back.

    Great food and service. Music was just a little on the loud side but when we mentioned to staff they didn't hesitate to have it turned down slightly.

    Presented ourselves 5 minutes before booking time and shown to table. All good.Took 20 minutes before anyone came near to ask if we wanted a drink.Staff did offer an apology however about time it took.Ordered2 mains.Steak sausage pie and goats cheese tartlet with beetroot avocado salad. Tartlet and salad nice but needed a saw to get through pastry in tartlet. It was a case of where is sausage in the pie. Slivers of sausage eventually found. If your Scottish then it should be more than slivers of sausage.!! Chips very dry and some veg so hard they were unedible. Overall nothing to rave about. No be back.

    I've been to Mharsanta a few times and always recommend it to friends but the service was a bit erratic on this visit. It was very busy outside and there was a big group in the downstairs area so maybe more staff were needed. We had to wait quite a while for both our drinks and food orders to be taken and our mains were brought out while we still had our starters on the table. They were taken back to the kitchen but the starters weren't cleared straight away. Won't put me off going again but hopefully no repeat. Staff were lovely and very pleasant despite the issues.

    Food was lovely but actual experience was terrible ! When we paid the bill immediately noticed it wasn’t ours and informed staff of this only to be told don’t worry it’s only a couple of drinks ! Then received a phone call to say we had an outstanding bill ! Phoned them back only to be told yes we had paid someone else’s and we had to go back to pay more ! So we had to go back into town Sunday morning and tell the exactly what we had ordered as they didn’t have a clue ! At least we tried to be honest at the time and returned to pay actual balance of bill Definitely won’t return !!!

    Visited Mharsanta with friends for a bite to eat before going to a concert. Very pleasant chap greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. Food was very nice and the "lunch deal" was great value for money. Service top class and nothing was too much trouble. Will definetely return.

    The value for money is excellent. The portion sizes are huge, and all of it was delicious. We were not short changed in opting for the lunch menu, or if we were then the al a carte portions must be bordering on the ridiculous. Friendly, helpful staff and a wonderful lunch.

    My wife and I made a reservation on the recommendation of the Hilton Glasgow. The reservation was made a week in advance and when we arrived we were sat at the worst table in the restaurant vent to the stairs and in the middle of a walk way. Because the restaurant was full this was the only table available, there was no offer to wait for another table it was take it or leave it. We ordered a bottle of wine and a couple appetizers but because of the noise and the proximity of the table we decided to leave, note to management move the tables by the stairs, don’t sit couples who are trying to have a nice evening there, it ruins the evening

    Overall a good experience service good food good standard. Side plates given for bread dirty from dishwasher given two replacements still dirty so that is the only thing that let it down.

    Great restaurant - a regular for us when we lunch out in Glasgow. Would thoroughly recommend. Have also had dinner out with friends and it was given thumbs up by all.

    Impeccable service provided by genuinely nice people. Food was flawless: muscles, salmon, fish and chips, lamb rump all perfectly cooked and sauces were on target. If I lived in Glasgow I’d eat here often.

    We went to try this restaurant out as it came recommended...glad we tried it! The food was delicious We had haggis croquettes to start then I had seafood risotto my hubby had home made steak/sausage pie, both dinners were delicious and really good portion sizes. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to book again for our anniversary dinner with our family. The service was very good, staff were very nice and very helpful. Place was "rustic" but had a lovely ambience about it. Looking forward to going back to the Mharsanta.

    I had the haggis and my girlfriend had the mussels. Both were enjoyable, although the mussels portion was slightly on the smaller side. All of the staff were very friendly though and the restaurant feels very cosy. Would recommend overall.

    Food was lovely, although the goats cheese croquets were too soft. The staff were very professional however they seem to be absent when we required more drinks and the bill. Overall though we had a pleasant lunch.

    Wir buchten ein Menü inkl. Wein das bereits bei der Buchung bezahlt wird. Der Wein wurde nur auf Nachfrage gebracht. Das Service-Personal war unaufmerksam und desinteressiert. Bei der Abrechnung wurde das Menü ein zweites Mal in Rechnung gestellt. Nach Reklamation wurde dies geändert. We booked a menu including wine which is already prepaid at the time of booking. The wine was brought only on request. The service staff was inattentive and disinterested. When billing, the menu was charged a second time. After complaint, this was changed.

    Pleasant attentive staff. Good ambiance. Music not too loud. My lamb was delicious. Cranachan was poor - 3 raspberries, lot of cream and jam and a sprinkling of oats.

    2nd time in a week we have had dinner here and can only say it was amazing on both occasions. The food was delicious we all had an amazing meal and the staff are brilliant also very attentive and helpful. Cannot wait for our next visit
