   We were anticipating to be blown away as many reviews for this restaurant are glowing. It was just OK. Steaks were not bad. Bland vegetables. The scampi pasta was watery and salty. Waiter brought coffee with our dessert but then disappeared. We wanted more coffee but as we got into the car to leave the waiter was walking back in from a break we assume. We live in Modesto and frequent Stockton restaurants. Lincoln Center has many great ones.

   Mezzo always exceeds expectations of food selections. I had Salmon & my husband had Pork Chop. The sauces & accompaniments were creative & delicious. Dessert was Raspberry Chocolate Tart & wonderful. Definitely plan your next party or dine as a couple. Mezzo never disappoints.

   The salad had way too much dressing with a very overpowering taste of garlic. The side of risotto was just like eating microwaved rice with chunks of asparagus. It was very dry with no flavor. The potatoes underneath my fish were not cooked thoroughly. There was also no gelato for our desserts. The service was fantastic but wish there was better food.

    It took thirty minutes past our reservation to get seated. Our drinks were forgotten about at least once each. I hope my wife has a good birthday despite the dinner she had.

I understand that you sat at the bar for about a 1/2 hr until another table was available. We apologize that your wait was so long. We always try to allow our guests enough time to enjoy their dinner/evening without rushing, sometimes our guests stay longer which is out of our control which affects table availability.     Food and service us always great, but even for a Wednesday night it was too loud. We could hardly hear each other talk.

    I've been to Mezzo at least twice before and the food was always outstanding. This time, my guest and I split the beet salad which included several tasty ingredients but saturated with dressing. We both ordered the halibut and while the fish was cooked well and tasty the overall dish that included quinoa and arugula was just meh, not bad, but not something delicious enough to over eat. The bread and tapenade, OUTSTANDING! We agreed we would come back for the bread alone. Our server was attentive.

    We had an excellent experience. The service was top notch and the food was very tasty. The entrees took a little longer getting out than they should have but the server was very attentive and made sure we were doing ok. We will go back and highly recommend Mezzo.

    They were tendereizing meat for the evening meal. The sound was deafening. They close from 2-4pm. They should have been pounding meat at that time. The servers were very friendly.

    We have been wanting to go to Mezzo’s and try it so for anniversary we went for lunch. We were disappointed in the food for the most part though the bread was delicious. My husband’s meatball sandwich was way over cooked, dry and tasteless. His minestrone soup was just average & mostly broth. I had the prosciutto & burrata which again lacked flavor, other than the wonderful bread We did not have any pasta, so possibly that is what everyone is raving about? The server was very kind and attentive and atmosphere nice.

    I really like eating at Mezzo's and supporting a locally owned restaurant. It's noisy inside so why they are doing to enclose the outside patio is terrific.

    I love dinning at our local neighborhood restaurant. Their Italian and American menu changes seasonally and the dinner and salads options are great. I enjoy the wine list and the special drinks are delish! I have always had great service at Mezzo.

    Delicious multitude of offerings. Beet salad very tasty with radicchio slices, peas, grapefruit slices, butter lettuce with green goddess dressing topped with smoked goat cheese. Entrees had many to choose from. We had Veal Scallopini & Pasta Ragu short rib both excellent! Fresh made focaccia bread offered with olive oil & herbs was served warm from oven. Dessert was homemade Tiramisu & superior too. Newly added space of heated, enclosed patio seating has greatly improved this restaurant’s size & seating accommodations. Very enjoyable evening

    This is our favorite dinner place . The food is great and the service is commendable. Since we frequent the restaurant, I wish they would remember their regular customers like us. We remember the name of every server who waited on us ; however each time we go , we sense the absence of a warm welcome back feeling !

    I looked forward to having date night w my husband at Mezzo as I had recently eaten there w friends. Unfortunately, the menu just changed and it’s under new management and our initial contact was with a rude hostess. We asked for a different table as the one we were offered was by the front door and right next too the bar. We had made an early reservation and since no one was seated yet, we asked for another table. After much sighing and implying how unreasonable I was by her snotty attitude, we were seated on the patio. I did advise the older hostesses that the snotty one had a bad attitude and it was unnecessary. Although it was windy and raining, the patio was well heated. We were taken care of by a wonderful server G. The food was fine but I think the chef must be different than my visit in December. Sadly, we will not be returning.
