Mezzo Restaurant is a small neighborhood bistro that takes pride in creating each dish from scratch. Inspired by the cuisines of Italy, Chef Daniel creates a beautiful seasonal menu, offering a specials each week. Mezzo works with local farmers, house made pastas, and the highest quality meats and fresh fish. Our amazing talented chef and his team are the best in the area.

Mezzo offers indoor dining and dining on our new heated enclosed patio year round. Our bar opens Tuesday-Saturday at 4:30 daily and serves beautifully handcrafted cocktails, impressive wine list, beer and after dinner drinks.

Mezzo specializes in private events, wedding showers, graduation, birthday, baptisms, and anniversary parties which can be held in our private patio or restaurant. Look for our special events - farmers market dinners, wine tasting events and wine dinners.

Service was excellent, as usual. I had the halibut with mashed potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots. It was absolutely delicious!!

Thank you Stockton Diner! We appreciate you! Thank you for noting the "value" part of your review! We are trying so hard to keep our food costs down. It has been crazy the increases that we have seen over the past few years. We are choosing not to sacrifice the quality of product that we serve therefore the prices at the restaurant are a little higher. It has been a challenge to the restaurant industry for the past few years with covid, inflation, raising food costs and soon starting in January the minimum wage is increasing. Please know that we are doing the best that we can to keep our food costs down! Thank you again for taking the time to give us a great review!

Thank you LauraM for your very nice review - We always love to see friends come together at the restaurant. Regarding the value of the meal, with all of the food cost increases, etc. Mezzo has made the choice to keep our food standards of buying local whenever possible, top grade meats, fresh fish, housemade pasta, all sauces made in our kitchen. The only item that we buy frozen in our restaurant is the gelato :). Please be assured that we strive to provide the best ingredients which sometimes means a little more that we have to charge. The server did not know what the specials were, kept changing the menu options. Felt rushed to order. Alot of the food that was on the menu was "not available anymore " . Then why still have it on your menus?

Great atmosphere and delicious food. My only complaint is the added a dusting of flour to their french fries. Now I cannot enjoy them.

Thank you for your review and thank you for your feedback and prices are always something that we are trying to keep down for our customers. There have been so many food cost increases this last year, sometimes by the week. Additionally, we are slightly higher but in line with the other restaurants that are in town that are similar to our restaurant. The reason our prices are a dollar or two higher per dish is we buy the majority of our produce from local farmers, our meats and seafood are NEVER frozen, our pasta's are all made in house. We only serve housemade sauces and dressings. We confidently can tell you that we use only the best ingredients that we feel offer our diners the best food that they can get in town. Again thank you for your feedback - we do appreciate it!

These are the two dishes that have sausage in them. rigatoni bolognese -italian sausage & beef bolognese, grana padano, extra virgin olive oil pasta con salsiccia italiana-italian sausage, baby kale, d.o.m. pecorino, mama lil’s goat horn pepper The bolognese is always on our menu the pasta con salsiccia italiana is a seasonal dish. We have 3 other pasta's and our entrees that are sausage free. Value wise we are a little higher than other restaurants because we use all locally sourced (whenever possible) vegetables, fresh meat and seafood (never frozen). We really do appreciate the feedback and always listen to what our customers have to say!

We ate outside and everything was terrific. The only issue I had was that the carrots in the short ribs pasta were not cooked at all. I don't like them mushy, but you couldn't even cut these with a knife. Otherwise everything was really good.

Regarding the value of the food, we buy only fresh fish, vegetables and fruits from local farmers, all of our pasta's are made from scratch, we only use Mary's organic chicken, you will never find anything frozen or premade at Mezzo. We have been going to Mezzo for a few years. The menu changed dramatically and we did not enjoy. They veered from Italian traditional. The clam linguine was not white wine sauce. The clam chowder was spicy. The pork loin paled in comparison to the pork chop of yore (same name, bad result) - and it came with polenta. Burrata - gone. Melon and prosciutto - gone. Going to take a break for a while. Will go back - but it’ll be a while.

Love the outdoor patio. The menu is small but fresh and delicious. Wine menu is well rounded and reasonably priced. Loving the consistency and quality of the dishes coming out of the kitchen with the new chef.

FANTASTIC is the word I choose to use! Great food!! Let's face it, even if the service were the best ever, without great food it's all moot! Can't believe my wife and I hadn't been here before! It is a tad hidden but break out the GPS and get there! Service was top notch, ambiance was on the quieter side, which is perfect and the food...the FOOD! FANTASTIC! Go there!!! Very pleasant dining experience as always at Mezzo . Our waiter JT did an excellent job . I ordered pork porterhouse with buttered polenta and red endives and for dessert a lemoncillo cheesecake . Both are delicious and nicely prepared

This is a nice small Italian restaurant with a nice patio. The prices are decent but they do have a small menu and some of the specials change weekly.

We enjoyed our dinner on the patio as it was quieter than indoors, where one would need to shout to be heard. The food was delicious, but honestly, a tad overpriced for the area. We were disappointed that the espresso machine was out of order. Service was good, attentive, and friendly. If we ever are visiting Stockton again, we would consider returning.

Great location, very nice interior and a very nice outdoor space. The staff was very friendly and our server was fantastic. All though my soup wasn’t to my liking, I was not charged for it. The rest of our party very much enjoyed their dinners. Since we had two birthdays, we were comped desserts of our choice!
