   We were dining with another couple and we each had our dog with us. Mezzo could NOT have been nicer to us AND our fur kids. They brought them water, a special cookie treat and we selected an item from the dog menu to share (a nice big portion of chicken breast). We had wonderful service, lovely wine and really great food.

   Greeted immediately, friendly server, great wine selection, excellent Caesar salad, perfectly prepared pork tenderloin - tender and great seasoning, short rib pasta with deep flavors was amazing! We’ll be back soon 😊

   The food at mezzos was very good but the only problem was that they were extremely busy and they ran out of their bread and also their portions are very small it was OK for me but for my boyfriend who is a big eater was still hungry but otherwise the food and service was great. Yes if you came in on Thursday night we had a rehearsal dinner on the patio and we went through more bread then we planned on! I can promise you that bread is normally plenty for everyone. We hope that you will give us another try. Our new seasonal menu comes out this week.

   Enjoyed sitting outside under an umbrella on new furniture. I don’t think Open table needs to send 6 reminders about the reservation with one of them at 1 am

In the winter with the space heaters it stays pretty warm and in the summer we are in the late afternoon shade so the patio usually stays pretty nice -even during our hot days!    Fantastic personalized service. JT took time to get to know us and made great recommendations!! The chef truly takes the farm to table concept seriously as every ingredient was super fresh and delicious. The salmon entree was outstanding!

   This is one of our favorite restaurants! Always delicious fresh food with wonderful flavors! Many options as well! And the cocktails are awesome too! Very unique! Would highly recommend! It’s a hidden treasure!!

   The best pear salad I have ever had in a restaurant. The wine list is great, expecially the white wines. I would be back again in the near future and will recommend the restaurants to my friends.

    We were greeted with a smile by the gracious hostess. The restaurant had just opened for dinner and it was already bustling.  JT at the bar moved with the grace and speed of a knowledgeable yet playful bartender; the slightly dirty martini was Vegas grade! Customers were celebrating all around us in a place that instantly made us feel welcome. We ordered the Carpaccio and the Swordfish Special. We watched as the Chef and small multi-ethnic culinary crew moved with the focus and precision of natural born taste chemists. Conversations flowed and we met a wonderful gentleman who had brought fresh mint from his plot to share with the restaurant. Yeah, this is a place where the Loco Locals in Stockton gather, for sure! The Carpaccio had the right balance of deliciousness between the arugula, shaved beef, seasoning, and unexpected pine nuts. Chef Ruby Lopez definitely knows what she is cooking in this amazing, perfectly sized, Mediterranean influenced, Italian eatery. Originally from Lodi, starting as a dishwasher, inspired by her need to support her child, Lopez is now artistically working her magic at this surprisingly good restaurant.  The Swordfish was perfectly cooked and spectacular, with the right notes of sweet and savory elements. We would have licked the plate if we were at home! Reviews on Open Table and Google are a good reflection of the wonderful experience you will have at Mezzo. Highly recommended!

    Best pork tenderloin dish ever. Cooked perfectly with fresh spinach and green beens, chutney, and balsamic reduction with pear slivers. Dessert too was scrumptious with lemon ricotta poundcake with blueberry compote and gelato.

    Service was pleasant and helpful but it took an extraordinarily long time to get our food. We were there for nearly three hours and not because we were languishing over our food. For the price I thought the portions were a bit small - and I’m not one to complain about paying more for better quality food. Initially we were living it but by the time we left, we felt it was a disappointment. Though the food was very tasty, between the long wait for food and the small portion, it wasn’t worth the cost in the end. We probably won’t be back.

I would appreciate it if you call the restaurant and ask for the manager - we would like to make this right for you and invite you back another night. Unfortunately Friday night we had our sous chef not show up for work and we have not heard anything back from him since then, Our dishwasher did not show up to work starting Thursday and still no word. These two things delayed our kitchen terribly. I hope to connect with you soon!

    I am surprised to see this restaurant so far down the list for "Best in Stockton". A hidden gem, it is certainly better than DW and MT which are 1 and 2 on OpenTable and Yelp. I can not wait to eat here again. Staff and service where wonderful and the great tasting food only rounds out the perfect time we had.

    Celebrated birthdays. Sat on the patio - lovely setting. Needed an umbrella for sun protection. Food was very good - lovely menu featuring in-season produce. Waiter, Jymard, was very attentive and remembered our preferences from our last visit. Definitely a good place to go for special occasions and quiet getaways.

    We frequent this neighborhood restaurant frequently. The service and cuisine are consistently five star. From the maître de to the servers bartender and chef the quality is always top notch. Each diner is made to feel important as the staff make one feel they are truly happy that you have chosen to dine at this establishment. Amazing dining experience!
