The food was ok. Service was not good!
Our food came before our wine. Waited almost 20 minutes for 2nd glass of wine. Couldn't find our server. Just frustrating and not worth it.
It was really cold in the restaurant. We made mention of it, but there was no change.
Mezze is a great time from happy hour to dinner. With family or clients, large or small. You can have small plates of tapas to share and/or entrees. Everything is delicious with wide variety of flavors. And they have great staff.
Great place and food.
We had a great time.
Very friendly folks including the owner.
I was a little disappointed. First, both floors of the restaurant were freezing and I had to keep my coat on for the entire meal. Some of our tapas, like the steak and meatballs, were not that great. They were out of croquettes. Several servers were responsible for our table sos it wasn't smooth service. It was more of a "So what are you having?" experience.
The restaurant was very cold inside, they had space heaters but it wasn’t working well. The food was okay, but not great. Certainly overpriced for what we got.
I’d recommend another place if you’re looking for good Lebanese style food
Overbooked roughly 60 people at the same time on Valentine’s Day. Did not tell anyone before or after arrival leaving people with no options.
We had to wait a while for our food but the manager noticed and immediately took care of us. The food was excellent! Even on such a busy day.
Over book and poor management. Would not refer
Service was abysmal. We weren’t even acknowledged for the first 20 minutes we were there and we didn’t get seated until an hour and a half after our reservation time. Then they didn’t bring us half our food.
Excellent service friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere is quite and pleasant
Waited 30 min to be seated with a reservation then another 30 before leaving. Complete chaos and no apologies
Special Valentine's menu made the meal a good value but the poor service was impossible to overlook. Many guests around us ended up leaving without even getting their orders taken. No continuity in who was waiting on you or at what point we were in the meal. Guests were going down to the bar to buy drinks because the servers wouldn't take the orders. A disappointing night. We'll be headed back to Cyprianna or Cava Mezze.
Lack of staffing will keep you waiting.
Valentine day's menu was perfectly executed. Great service and hospitality! Made a greek feel right at home!
Took 30 mins to get our check. The food was amazing and came out very fast. I think it is a good place to try and I would go again.
Food was absolutely incredible. Super fresh and authentic, every dish was fabulous. Will definitely be back.
We opted to order 4 dishes from the menu instead of doing the tasting menu. We started with the portabellos, which were perfectly cooked and served with a light, airy whipped goat cheese. We had the shrimp, which was served with a light tomato sauced rice, and the barbecued salmon, which was lovely. The star of the show for us, though, were the lamb and beef meatballs served in an herbed tomato sauce. Next time we are each getting our own order of those!
Food was terrible. Waitress was atrocious. Won’t be back..
After seating my daughter and I, we waited for menus and to place our order. Once our order was placed we waited an hour for food. No one came by at all to refill our water and our drink order took 40 minutes. Food was fine, not bad not great. But won’t go back
Mezze is a lovely restaurant in the heart of Fells Point. The waiter did a good job. Unfortunately two entrees which we ordered were not available---this was at 6:30 Saturday night and were part of the regular menu. We ordered eight different dishes and seven were very good. We did not like the beef kabobs. The beef had a very gamey taste, more like lamb, and no discernible seasoning. The best dishes were the eggplant and the calamari. All five of us agreed that we would return, just not order the beef.
Always a favorite! Never disappointed with Mezze!
We were seated near the door so it was freezing cold all night. The food was equally as cold when it came out. The hummus tasted like thick brown water- it was gross. I ate mostly pita chips because that was the only thing that was good. The chicken kebabs were tiny and underwhelming, the portions were pitiful, the waiter was awful. Restaurant week there was an absolute joke. Will not be returning here. The owner was friendly but annoying.
We waited an hour and a half and only got the first course. It was restaurant week and they explained they were under staffed and kitchen was backed up.
Excellent food- would go back for those lamb chops!
The dining room wasn't that busy, but the time between courses seemed to be long and we waited for the check.
Tonight was my first time and it won't be my last. Every was seasoned perfectly. The service was good and the price was right! Best restaurant week pick so far!
We dined at Mezze during restaurant week. We opted to have the special selection pre-fixe menu. Each course was great. Food was served family style. First course, Greek salad, followed by hummus and tzatziki served with fresh, warm pita. The main course was a large platter with: 4 baby lamb chops, 8 mini crab cakes, 4 dolma, 4 grilled eggplant slices, 6 or 8(?) grilled shrimp, 4 chicken kabobs and a shredded beef over mashed potatoes. Every bite of every dish was fabulous. The variety of the items allowed us easily swap for our preferences. Deserts were baklava and another Greek cake, both wonderful, of course.
Restaurant week provides a great opportunity the restaurants to shine and diners to discover new favorites.
We will certainly return to Mezze! Oh I almost forget to mention, the service was great, ambiance was lovely!
We went there to celebrate my husbands birthday. We had a great experience! They were very accommodating to all our requests and the food was fabulous. The menu was a little confusing but we figured it out . We will return for sure!
We set our reservations up and we thought we ended up with a nice spot by the window, but we were so jammed into the corner every sound of the restaurant echoed there. Also, this was the service corner so employees were constantly walking by to get supplies for the bathroom or other places.
We ordered 4 drinks total, 2 of them were not even close to being accurate. The server was missing for large portions of time, so we were not able to even get corrections. When we ordered the first drinks they came up timely. But the 2nd round took about 20+mins each.
Overall, was horribly disappointed in the service and quality of the food, especially for the price. I doubt I will go there again and will probably never support any of my friends going.
Food is very delicious , portions are right size, not too big, price is very good. I would recommend this place to anyone!
One mark of a good restaurant is consistency. Mezze certainly has that. Every time we dine here, the service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the overall experience is wonderful. The only issue is that we always eat too much. But that's on us.
The staff was so hospitable and service was impeccable. We had a large group and they took our orders efficiently and able to get out our orders and drinks relatively quickly. Will definitely be back!
Also, the food was delicious!
Food was just okay, drinks were good. Service was excellent. Can’t say I will be back though unless to just have a drink at the bar.
This place is a gem! I was entertaining 10 business guests and needed a last minute reservation..with a bar. I looked online and wasn't 100% sure what to expect because you couldn't see much in photos, but this really was perfect. It's tapas style, so we all shared the apps, small and large plates, which were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. That got the conversation flowing and we all had a great time laughing and chatting. The noise level was perfect too. Loud enough to feel festive but not so much that we couldn't hear one another (we sat upstairs in the gorgeous, high ceiling area). Plus, the value was out of this world. I got my bill and was stunned! We ate and drink our fill and it was easily half the price of a 'sit down' (one plate per person). Excellent!
There food was fine enough but the service was awful. We debated leaving before the main course and when the food finally arrived it was lukewarm at best. Waited a half hour to be seated when the table they sat us at was empty the whole time. Would not recommend sadly.
Dinner was sooooo good. I want to go back. The food and service was great.
Ran out of moussaka and the waiter gave up after the first order.
Mezze is a must when in baltimore. The staff is fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. Everyone makes us feel so at home! There are plenty of delicious well prepared vegan and gluten free options too!
They forgot that I placed the reservation as an anniversary. Kind of ruined the night.
