The best restaurant in Pacific Grove. Innovative, affordable, seasonal, all prepared and served with a loving manner. Best bartender between LA and San Francisco. Unbelievable cocktails. Cannot recommend more highly!

Pasta was great, cocktails are amazing. Staff kept us warm even in the Monterey weather at night.

Mezzaluna was quite the gem that really made the best out of the COVID restrictions. Though we were seated outside right by the main road, we hardly noticed it. They had heaters, blankets, music and a lovely hand sanitizer spray at each table. The food was perfect and the service could not have been nicer. It was a smidge on the slow side but because we were warm, it didn’t bother us too much.

This place is OUTSTANDING! Amazing handmade pastas and the mozzarella bar is a definite must do! The staff was super friendly and very attentive, made our special date-night even more fabulous. I highly recommend grilled octopus, the truffle oil burrata and the sear sea scallops pasta.

Mezzaluna was and is an amamzing find and all the food we tried did not disappoint. We tried a number of differnt things from the menu and each was wonderful and full of flavor and was made in my opinion with tradition in mind. The drinks were just as amazing and well made (Vincent made amazing drinks).

Amazing dinner. Service, food, atmosphere!! They had blankets and heaters to keep warm! Wine & cocktail selection outstanding. Gluten free options available and all pasta freshly made on premises. Our night was complete by selecting this restaurant! So glad we decided to venture out of Carmel to find fresh organic food and not eat where all the tourists were!

A little gem in Pacific Grove. The food was outstanding. The house made mozzarella is great. Nice wine list that has many good values. And then there is Iracema. She couldn’t be nice and more gracious. We had a wonderful dinner and can’t wait to go back.

Fabulous food and service. Too bad the seating is out in the parking lot, by necessity during COVID and there isn't barriers between the tables and the cars leaving, because there isn't room. We were provided blankets and heaters but it won't be fun when it starts to rain as there is no overhead cover. Such a shame for the restaurant. Wear your mask everyone so we can get back to eating inside this great restaurant!

Food was super! Fresh recipes which tasted like those I’ve had in Tuscany. Loved the variety of the spritz, mozzarella, and especially the amaro.

Great food, wine, and aperitifs. Pricey, but outstanding quality. Outdoor seating is okay - and the only way they can stay open - but street side is noisy at rush hour.

Fantastic! We had never heard of Mezzaluna and tried it for our anniversary dinner based on all the great reviews. It was fabulous. All the pasta and mozzarella is made in house. We brought our 11 year old with us and we all ate every bite. The craft cocktails are also excellent and we got to try some new things. Our son was able to try a mocktail he really liked. The only thing I didn't give 5 stars to is the ambiance, as it is Covid and outdoor dining only. You sit along the building either in the parking lot or in the front of the restaurant along Forrest Ave, which can be very busy. Some kind of barrier between the tables and Forrest Ave would be really nice. But, once the food came out all we did was rave about every bite and we didn't notice the road noise as much. We can't wait to go back. We have been to nearly every restaurant on the peninsula over the years and this is now one of our new favorites.

Wow, just wow. Mezzaluna exceeded my expectations on all dimensions possible. Friendly and attentive service, efficient without being fussy. It has a thoughtful wine list, and a fun and inventive craft cocktail list. I will dream about their clam chowder, which bucks convention by not being thick, but more brothy, but still with some body and a ton of clams and bits of potatoes and veg. We ordered the short rib ravioli, the butternut squash pasta and the bolognese which all were very,very good, with fresh made, al dente cooked pasta. There are a ton of Italian restaurants in this county, but we have found our new collective favorite.

It was a great experience. I definitely will be going back in the near future.

Making the most of outdoor dining

New item on the menu- clam chowder with beef bone marrow-awesome. Not your typical New England shower- more brothy and tasty. It could be your whole meal! This has tough competition with their Heirloom early girl tomato soup (unfortunately
is a seasonal special). Another special is their Duck fettuccine special. Loved their rabid (conigli) pasta! Best old fashions to go with your dinner!

We will make it our first choice when in Pacific Grove! We were only able to eat outside because of covid, but they made it as pleasant as possible with heaters and blankets available.

Fantastic food. Ate outside because of COVID restrictions and it got windy and chilly. But that’s not their fault.

Good service, the hostess was very attentive and helpful making sure even though we had a 10 minute wait for our reservation to get us our wine while we waited. They have done a nice job with the outside dining and can’t wait until we get a chance to dine inside. Food was good with a great selection of creative dishes.

Staff was incredibly friendly and efficient on a foggy evening. Our meal was as promised: delicious mozzarella-based salad plate; fresh, house made pasta; gelato dessert. Outside dining area was safely configured and the staff offered blankets to chilly customers.

Will be visiting again. Great food and amazing service.

Enjoyed our meal, as always! I was happy to see most of the outdoor tables filled early on a Friday. Due to the location, the outdoor seating area isn't ideal as it is a little close to the road, but honestly, the food (and Francis' cocktails!) are totally worth it!

We keep coming back for the Gnocchi Di Patate (Gorgonzola gnocchi) It is so good! Also the drinks are stellar! I like their Amaretto Sour. You can’t go wrong with anything here! Always great food and service!

Excellent food and service. Very good wine prices and the option to buy to take home is a great value--especially if you buy a case. Considering they are on a busy street, the outside dining is no issue. I can't believe we have been in Pebble Beach for over 20 years and just discovered. Apparently relatively new.
