   This is a favorite spot of ours. We brought my mom and dad for their first time and they loved it. The food is delicious. The service is always fantastic.

   Mezzaluna is one of my favorite restaurants on the Monterey Peninsula. The pasta dishes are always cooked perfectly, and the seasonal menu changes result in the freshest and most interesting dishes.

   Excellent burrata and pasta. A fun place to go to. They also have great cocktails. Good service. The noise level is unfortunately the only reason why we don't go more often. It is a good idea to make reservations early or late for that reason.

   This is the only restaurant I’ve ever visited that seats people at couches for dinner. It was extremely uncomfortable having to crouch over to eat our pasta on these tiny tables from these low couches despite having made a reservation for the bar. Terrible service and the hostess had an awful attitude. Pasta tasted fine and was appropriately sauced, but definitely overpriced. Would not come again and do NOT recommend.

   I met my friend for a meal here on 4/24. I had the pasta with clams and she had the rigatoni with spicy red sauce. Both were fine. Overall I am writing because the whole experience felt so rushed. We arrived at 5:00. We no sooner had bread than the bread plates were being taken. 2xs my friend had to ask for her bread plate to be given back. The salad was not correct, but the waiter kindly exchanged for what was ordered. At 6:15 after we had paid the bill the waiter asked us to leave. No place on the reservation was there a specific seating time indicated and no one told us it was for a set time. Further, most seating are an hour and a half. While the food was ok, given the experience I would not return.

    This gem in Pacific Grove, Monterey Peninsula, offers one of the best dining experiences on the peninsula. It serves some of the best Italian food, and the service is impeccable.
