   The clam chouder with bone marrow was extremely good. This alone was worth the visit. Black ink seafood pasta was also excellent as was the rabbit.

   By far the best meal that we have had in years. Everything about the staff and restaurant screams quality and attention to details. The pate and mozzarella appetizers were great - the pate the best i have ever had by far. But it was the freshly made pasta that was the star. All five of our dishes were perfect! Highly recommend.

    We had a great meal with good wine and excellent service; however, the noise level was intolerable for us.... we could hardly hear each other at our table. The noise level really ruined an otherwise nice dinner experience. I'm afraid we will not be returning due to the loud noise.

    You must try the Tre Mozzarella appetizer! All 3 mozzarellas were so different both in taste and texture. They went well with the olive and pickled peppers and cauliflower too! We had the short rib ravioli, topped with shaved horseradish, and the pork bolognese papardelle. Both were excellent, homemade and so fresh. We tried the Parmesan “gelato” for dessert. That was interesting, more like a Parmesan mascarpone cheese topped with a balsamic gelee and a quince compote. Very unique and delicious too.

    This was our second time here and it was wonderful. I got the calamari pasta special and my hubby got the rigatoni. Ceasar salads were great and the tiramisu was good. Our waiter was fabulous!

    Mezzaluna has a very unique menu. We really enjoyed our selections and loved that the chef offered truffle shavings as an additional topping. Very tasty. We will definitely come back again when we are in the area.

    Superb pasta! I had a rigatoni with sausage, English peas, and a cream tomato sauce. My friend had pasta with braised rabbit and artichoke hearts. We shared a very good Super Tuscan. Waiter was friendly, helpful. Will definitely return.

    Absolutely delicious food, and very attentive staff... except... ... since we're immunocompromised and need to sit outside, we apparently were beyond the normal range of our server's attention span. After loving the entrees, we asked for desert menus, then waited at least 15 minutes in the chill for someone to take our order, to no avail. Giving up, we asked instead for the check. We look foreward to the day when we can dine there inside, but don't want to repeat this particular experience any time soon.

    Wonderful food! Great service! Absolutely recommend. We always appreciate food that is prepared with a lot of thought and expertise. Restaurant noisey. Put in a small table where there was a lot of service traffic behind one of us, so we had to crunch up to the table. Otherwise Mezzaluna offers excellent food.

    Everything and everyone at Mezzaluna was amazing! Rafael, our server, was a delight! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and had dinner here. We had Al Nero con Vongole and Ravioli di Manzo. They were not as I expected but very delicious and fresh. They offered us dessert but with our freshly baked warm bread, salads, and beverages and the filling entrees, we didn't have any room for a dessert. They surprised us instead with this crisp bubbly (Prosecco) that was perfect to finish the evening off. It was the entire staff that made the ambiance warm and inviting. Parking was a little challenging on a Friday evening but found a spot on the street nearby. We didn't mind the short walk. Absolutely highly recommended!

    We had an incredible dinner! The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. We got some legitimately great mocktails, shared a wild mushroom and kale burrata dish, my husband had linguini with lobster, I had papardelle with pork bolognese and pistachios. Shared a tiramisu which was the bomb. The service was great! It is a bit noisy but it didn’t bother us or detract from our experience. You can’t go wrong here!

    We were visiting Pacific Grove for our 25th wedding anniversary. We happened to drive by Mezzaluna, and I zeroed in on the sign that read Mozzarella Bar, because it is one of my favorite foods, especially burrata. We dropped in for dinner on a Wednesday, and made reservations for the following Friday based on an amazing meal. Definitely order the Tre Mozzarella appetizer in order to taste all of the types of moz they offer. My husband thought the clam chowder was the best he had on our West Coast trip. The pasta is fresh and delicious! No wrong choices! Service was top notch. Another amazing plus is that, because they are a wine shop, you can order any wine with dinner with only a $20 upcharge, so you can try high end wines and not have to pay double or triple as you usually do in a restaurant. I highly recommend!

    Don’t judge by the location or the exterior. Knowledgeable staff, excellent cocktail and wine menus, great food and tasteful interior. Child-friendly. Great value. My wife loved it. My 7-year-old demolished an adult portion and wanted desert. Recommended by the hostess at another restaurant as a local gem.
