   Went to Mezza Via for a couples birthday dinner on a Saturday night. Service and food were fantastic with added benefit of BYO for wine with a $4 corkage fee pp. They are licenced so you can order drinks, beer wine etc and prices were very reasonable. We had garlic prawns and burrata as entrees - note that you get garlic bread with prawns which was great for both the prawns & garlic oil and burrata. The entrees were fantastic. We followed up with a pizza with added toppings and a burrato on top and some baby calamari. Both were very tasty although more than we could eat. Our leftovers were placed in take-away containers for home. Service was friendly and attentive and food delicious. Overall a wonderful night.

   My friends and I have been going to Mezza Via for some years now and it is very popular in this area. Saturday nights are always full and because the noise levels are very high we have decided to make our visits weekdays rather than weekends! Other than that I can’t fault it. The staff are cheerful as we watch them cook at the back of the restaurant, it is clean, the food good, the wait staff friendly and obliging. It really is a little gem in a small shopping centre in the suburb of Denistone East. As one ages high noise levels are not so tolerable when eating out, so I would recommend an outside table booking. If you visit this restaurant I can assure you it would not be a disappointment. The portions are generous and the food well cooked.

   Really excellent pasta and the lamb ragu was delicious. Great and friendly service without being intrusive. Nice choice of wines and good value. Definitely recommended.
