Food was soooo delicious. Crispy Cauliflower & Crab cakes were my favorite. I'll definitely be going back.
One of the best Mediterranean restaurants around. The food is always consistently good. The mezzes are delicious, the shrimp and gnocchi and seafood orzo were wonderful. They did a nice job with making the outdoor area very pretty.
Delicious creative cuisine and very reasonable pricing. We've enjoyed everything we've tried after more about ten visits including before the pandemic shutdown.
And the servers are always friendly and professional.
We'll be back again soon.
Good meal. Dined outside under tent with couple of friends. Would come back again.
Very good, tented lunch spot on a warm but not boiling hot day. If there were a dozen tables, half were filled. Tables were well spaced. Service was attentive. Food arrived at a good pace, with warm pita and olive oil arriving soon after we were seated. The food was very good, though the seasoning was quite mild and that might disappoint some people looking for more robust flavors. All in all a very good place to which we will return.
Outside. The space is not very attractive
If you like Mediterranean food this is a place you’ll want to try.
Great food. Get a bunch of appetizers to share. They are the best! If possible, order different main courses to split. Dont skip dessert! Yummy!
Unfortunately the waiter got the order wrong and was less than helpful with the situation. Unfortunately my wife did not want to further ruin the dinner by having to wait to get what she ordered. The adjustment was absurd. No problem though, the alternate was okay but not good. Too bad.
Amazing food! Great staff! We LOVE this place.
We decided on a tapas-style dinner this evening. It's very easy to do with the wide range of Mezzas (spreads) and appetizers. We had a special salad, three spreads, and three appetizers (our "main course"). It worked out really well and gave us a wide range of flavors and tastes. Pistachio baklava for dessert. Another way to enjoy Mezza's menu!
BYOB, and a wine/beer store is within easy walking distance.
We ate indoors and felt quite safe and comfortable.
This was our second time at Mezza but first time for dinner. Three of us ordered the "whole grilled branzino" but got a butterflied fish with its tail and no head, not a whole fish, which was disappointing. The food is very good but over priced. Would go back for lunch which has a broader and menu and better priced options but not for dinner.
Thank you for the review! Hope to see you again soon!
When we arrived, standing in front of the maitre d' and three other staff members who chatted amongst themselves for a few minutes before we had to 'let them know' that we arrived.
The food here is just to fresh and authentic, everything on the menu sounds delicious!
Thank you for the great review!
This is in a small affluent town. Just because it's in an affluent town does not mean you should charge more than NY prices for a meal. There was absolutely no meal priced under $30. Unfortunately we were stuck with ordering appetizers as our meals, which was disappointing as we checked the prices of another local Mediterranean restaurant and found that their meals were the same price as our appetizers. We would have up and left and gone there had one of the people in our party not been on a time constraint. Never, never will we eat there again. Even though the appetizers we had were very good. Not worth it when you can eat the same food for less money and same quality.
Delicious food, great staff. Lovely outdoor seating are - one of our favorite spots!
A very nice local place for a casual lunch or dinner where you can always be sure to have delicious food.
great food AND service at very reasonable pricing. That's why it's one of our favorite restaurants
There was outside seating which was nice. Our appetizer was great. Crispy Cauliflower and definitely recommend. We both ordered the Israeli Fish Tacos for our entree. Not so great and I wouldn’t order again. Nice choice of unsweetened iced teas. Ricotta Fitters for dessert. They were like fried donut holes served with lemon glaze and chocolate sauce on the side. They were pretty good. Overall a pretty good meal. We have always been pretty happy here in the past.
Great food and ambience, service a little slow but may be due to the fresh food and the exquisite preparation!
Very eclcectic mediteranian menu. Food is different and delcious. Not oerspiced. Always fresh and a great selection of dishes you will not see anywhere else!
Very nice experience. Highly recommend dining at Mezza.
Excellent food, especially the Short Rib Pappardelle and comfortable outdoor seating. Service was a little slow but friendly.
Another great time at Mezza! We had Sunday lunch and introduced two friends to Mezza. We started with several appetizers – eggplant chips, sautéed halloumi cheese, halloumi cigars. Then three different hummus bowls and the Mediterranean shish kebab. Then the regular and pistachio baklava. All delicious! All recommended!
We ate indoors and it was fine. Tables are very well spaced. HVAC system has great filters and an air purifier. Servers all wear masks.
The portions of the mezzas were very generous and quite tasty
We had to wait a little for seating but it was worth it. The food and service was great!
Nice outdoor setting for evening dining. The food was pretty good but the service was terrible. The Moroccan chicken was especially delicious. Took 2 1/4 hours to get an appetizer and dinner. We left without coffee and dessert as it wasn’t offered in all that time. We were very disappointed as we’ve eaten here before and had good service just a few weeks ago.
Easy to make a dinner reservation for indoor seating, but also looked like plenty of outdoor seating both covered and uncovered. Indoors felt very safe and comfortable. Tables were WELL spaced out (at least 12 feet or more), so felt very comfortable. Wait staff was professional, courteous, and provided excellent service. Food was terrific from apps, to salads to main course. Only one of us got dessert and the presentation was very eye appealing.
love Mezza! food is delicious. service was very good - busy night so our server wasn't as quick to get to our table initially but once she did she was great. only think I don't love about the restaurant is having to order appetizers & entrees all at once. but it's fine. love the BYO too
Food goof, service good, & they made the best of the COVID eating outdoor situation.
Mezza is an excellent restaurant. Our party of four ate outdoors.
We started with some strawberry mango salads and crispy cauliflower. Entrees included shrimp orzo, the sautéed branzino, and the specials soft shell crabs and halibut. All were excellent and we recommend them.
Great outdoor seating with options for tables with umbrellas and inside a tent (that was busy with several parties this evening!). Indoors the tables are very well spaced.
Servers are great and very knowledgeable.
Perfect Mother’s Day dinner
Went for Mother’s Day lunch and was told that it was the more expensive dinner menu not lunch although it was noon. No mention on website of the change only upon seating. Understaffed for that time, food took a long time to come. Food was good.
Food was wonderful!
Outstanding food and great service. Never disappoints
Girls night out for my birthday
Food was excellent. We shared the branzino, and hummas dips with pita. We splurged on the soufflé for dessert.
Service was excellent. No rush to leave. This is becoming my go to place for special occasions.
We dined outdoors and it was just fine. As always, great service and food.
We had not been here since the shutdown began so we took advantage of a nice warm day to dine out doors.
We live a bit too far away to have done take out and really missed enjoying our favorite dishes.
We WILL be back again soon!!!
We chose Mezza for our first indoor dining since the pandemic began. Over the past year we have eaten at Mezza outdoors many times and always had fine meals and fine service, and also done takeout many times. We chose Mezza for indoor since they upgraded their filters which also get changed frequently and added air purification to their HVAC system. Of course, tables are well spaced and everyone wears masks (well, except for one diner who took it off while walking to their table and left it off when getting up from their table). We felt completely safe.
Onto the food and service! We started with the wonderful halloumi cigars (Halloumi, zucchini, spinach & caramelized onions, wrapped in phyllo dough, served with cashew dipping sauce). Entrées were two really superb specials – halibut with asparagus/peas risotto and a 16 oz ribeye steak with potatoes and asparagus. So well prepared and presented, asparagus perfectly crisp, risotto delicious. Dessert was the pistachio baklava – a must try.
BYOB. A good wine & beer shop is a two-minute walk away.
Very highly recommended for indoor, outdoor, and takeout.
