amazing waiter!! great boozy brunch- especially on a weekday :)
I come here all the time and never disappoints
Really just so loud
Really nice food but the noise level is making conversation difficult
there was only one other table, yet it took the waiter so long to refill our drinks for boozy brunch. at one point the waiter left the restaurant for 10 mins and we were left alone.
They were very friendly to our family. Great food especially the French toast😍😍😍😍
Would not recommend this place for dinner
Service is outstanding, but food is only fair.
I made a reservation or my moms birthday brunch! I kept hearing such wonderful things so we were all so excited to experience it for ourselves! We got there early and were seated almost immediately which for a NYC brunch was a shocker! The food was outstanding! The drinks were amazing as well! The only thing that put a damper on our experience was our waiter. He was very slow to refill our bottomless drinks and whenever he was by our table he looked annoyed. Overall, he looked like he was not happy to be there which was unfortunate. Our bill was close to $400 and when you pay that much for an experience at a restaurant, you expect top notch service. Fortunately, a waitress of the tables next to us was so sweet and came over to make sure we were doing okay and even refill our drinks for us which we appreciated greatly! Would I go back? YES! I just hope I don't get the same waiter again.
Grace was the most welcoming and nice bartender I've had! Made my experience fun from the moment I walked in. Food was delicious, as well, and bottomless mimosas were worth it!
Garlic. Shrimps. Omg get them. Great spot to order and bunch of apps and salads and just share everything with the table. Kale salad was also delicious.
Was great. Luis is a gem.
Great brunch food, bottomless experience varies depending on the bartender. Had 1.5 hours of bottomless but the refills were infrequent towards the last 45 minutes. Steak with hash is a great choice.
Brunch was delicious! Will recommend to friends
absolutely love Mezetto!! Service is outstanding, the main server who’s always there is very attentive and friendly. had the sweet potato frittata and it was the best eggs I’ve had in a while. Also, how can you go wrong with $20 bottomless brunch. What a deal.
José is the man!! The best brunch in NYC by far!! The bottomless is the way to go!!
They tried to scam me into paying twice when they already took my cash.
The restaurant is vey small and we came for brunch on Saturday at 11am. That was fine for about 45 mins and then he decibel level kept going up and up until we really couldn’t hear much. Food was OK, not great.
The food was good, hummus was delicious and spicy seafood pasta was very tasty. It’s a small restaurant, which traps in lots of noise, so that was a minor issue a few times during dinner, simply not being able to hear from across the table. Also, seating isn’t ideal. Fairly cramped, but not the worst I’ve been to in New York. Ultimately this is a good place if you want a lively dinner with tasty food and a friendly staff. But for a date, I’d probably consider somewhere else.
Loved it here! Came here for brunch as it was the only place I could find who served bottomless on a weekday. We had an amazing waiter (forgot his name now) but he was so much fun and was quick to fill up our glasses as soon as the drinks were almost gone. As it was quite quiet we got to chose our own music from the iPad to play over the speakers and he was in no rush to get rid of us once our time had finished. Great service, food was lovely. Would highly recommend!
I've been to numerous bottomless brunches in NYC, and I have to say this may have been the worst. Why, you ask? Well...
- They sat us 30 min after our reservation
- The space is very small as is and it does not help that they try to cram SO many people. I've become used to tight spaces living in the city, however this was unacceptable. I felt like we were dining with the tables near us as well.
- IT WAS SO LOUD. I love a good boozy brunch and I understand this usually comes hand in hand with lively people, but again this was unacceptable. I couldn't even hear myself think and we were yelling across the table.
- The food took over an hour to come out, and it was mediocre at best. I got the mezetto breakfast - the quinoa was cold, the avocado was a little brown, the eggs were burnt. The only plus was the pita and hummus (hard to mess that up).
Overall, the only positive thing I have to say is that they serve straight champagne so if your group is really only concerned with drinking, it's not the worst place you can choose. It definitely was not worth the value though, being on the pricier side of the boozy brunch NYC scene ($50ish/PP).
Excellent customer service and great value for food and drinks.
Shoutout to Jose, the best waiter there. I was served by Brittany who was fantastic. Great food and drinks!
Brunch was delicious!
Waitstaff cordial and relaxed. My friend was about 30 min later than expected, and they essentially gave me a free flight of wines (Malbec, Cab Sauv, and Rose) to help me find just the right one while I waited. Food was good and prompt, and waitstaff went out of their way to make sure our order fit my dietary needs. Really excellent service here. It’s as convenient as can be from the 1st Ave exit of the 2nd Ave F Line subway stop but you’d never know you were right on top of the subway from inside.
The place is small. Felt a bit tight at the table and almost touching neighbors next to me. Not a great spot for a brunch date if your
getting to know someone. Very loud. Food was good, and service was ok.
Very small and loud. Arrived on time for our reservation and waited almost 30 mins for the table to be free. Food was worth the wait I guess. Just think reservations should be honored. Again it gets really loud.
The kale eggs Benedict was gritty and the eggs were very over cooked. The orange juice was stale. The vegetables had sand in it
I go here for brunch very frequently. I have a great time with out of town friends
This was a lovely place to connect with an old friend--quiet enough for conversation; small and intimate. The pizzetta and fried calamari were delicious; attentive service; great bar selection (they had both Aperol and Campari.) Would definitely recommend and will go back again.
I'm a bit disappointed because the online reviews sounded good but this is an average brunch spot. I've had better eggs benedict for the same price. We were not allowed to choose our mimosa flavors which is unfortunate because I did not like some of the flavors offered. Atmosphere was nice, though a bit dusty. It wasn't a bad experience but I probably won't go again.
Jose is the best bartender in America!
We had the place to ourselves, and had a fine evening. Food was good, nothing outstanding, and seemed very pricey. Drinks tasted a little watery- this place is apparently known for boozy brunch so I’m sure that would fun for a crowd! We went because we had a gift card, but I wouldn’t go again on my own.
Been here a few times and always enjoy it. Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced however this time my steak was so overdone I could barely cut into it. Chewy and dry.
eggs were over cooked on eggs benedict and avocado toast
The food, drinks and service are second to none. My favorite place in the city, hands down!
The male waiter (with beard) was very professional, polite, and prompt. This was our first time in NYC (& first restaurant) and we will definitely be coming back!
Overall, pretty good food with excellent presentation. We ordered a carafe of the speciality mojito, which is usually not on the menu as a carafe (bonus star for letting us get it). However, when they asked us if we wanted a refill, we said "we're good" and they brought us another pitcher and started pouring it for us. We assumed it was either free refills or some bonus mojitos...lesson learned, there are no bonus mojitos in NYC. They charged us an extra $45 for the pitcher (which was about 5 glasses), and when we told them we had said we were good on drinks and this was given to us without ordering it, he looked at us like we were crazy. Anyway, we paid for it, but that's the last time we go.
My friends and I came here for brunch on July 4, and it was great! Thankfully we had this reservation because it looked like they were turning away people because there wasn't enough space. The food was yummy and the bottomless flavored mimosas were generously refilled in a timely manner. Definitely would recommend!
