Sitting on the “nexus of the universe”, bridging the East Village and the Lower East Side. Mezetto is where you can come to simply enjoy great food, fun drinks and good company. Inspired from the word 'Meze' which refers to a selection of small dishes served in the Mediterranean as breakfast, lunch or even dinner. It is our take on tapas-style dinning, offering small plates meant to be shared amongst friends to create an social dining experience. We are focused on taking traditional flavors and cooking styles of the Mediterranean and bringing them to life with new age cooking techniques, creative combinations and bold presentations.

there was only one other table, yet it took the waiter so long to refill our drinks for boozy brunch. at one point the waiter left the restaurant for 10 mins and we were left alone.

I made a reservation or my moms birthday brunch! I kept hearing such wonderful things so we were all so excited to experience it for ourselves! We got there early and were seated almost immediately which for a NYC brunch was a shocker! The food was outstanding! The drinks were amazing as well! The only thing that put a damper on our experience was our waiter. He was very slow to refill our bottomless drinks and whenever he was by our table he looked annoyed. Overall, he looked like he was not happy to be there which was unfortunate. Our bill was close to $400 and when you pay that much for an experience at a restaurant, you expect top notch service. Fortunately, a waitress of the tables next to us was so sweet and came over to make sure we were doing okay and even refill our drinks for us which we appreciated greatly! Would I go back? YES! I just hope I don't get the same waiter again.

Grace was the most welcoming and nice bartender I've had! Made my experience fun from the moment I walked in. Food was delicious, as well, and bottomless mimosas were worth it!
