Meze Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
$33 all you can eat and drink brunch is a good deal for a DC restaurant. They’re strict about their 2 hour limit rule which begins when you sit down- not when you get your first drink/plate. Our waiter went to get a different bartender after 15 minutes of waiting as the one who was working was focused on 2 women sitting at the bar. Our waiter was attentive and the food came quickly. The manager seemed eager to get us out of the restaurant once we hit the 2 limit mark even though we were still waiting on our last few plates to come out.
This was a fantastic place to meet a friend for a quick bite before heading to the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was divine. We had a few appetizers and a salad, all of which were delicious and fresh. I look forward to returning the next time I am in DC to try other things on the menu.
The food and service were first class. It was a little bit noisy and also it was so dark that you couldn't read the menu. Actually had to use the flashlight from my cell phone in order to read the menu.
But the waiter was very attentive and had helpful suggestions. The food was fabulous. Price was very reasonable.
We really enjoyed celebrating our friend's birthday here. She is a vegetarian and we were able to find a ton on the all you can eat brunch menu ($32, with bottomless mimosas/bellinis/rail drinks and an extensive menu to choose from). We had a lovely waiter, and they brought her a special birthday dessert. Lovely experience all around. The only drawback was how loud the music was. We elected to sit on the patio overlooking the sidewalk and the music was still quite loud from there.
This was our second time at Meze Restaurant. I really love the grilled cheese plate, the olive medley, and the branzini wrapped in grape leaves. We sat upstairs, which is much quieter than the downstairs area by the bar. We requested a particular table that allows for conversation easily (my husband is very hard of hearing). The service is really good.
I was in town with a group for a conference and we were looking for somewhere to eat that could accommodate a group of us that had good drink specials. We stumbled upon Meze and were all so impressed. The service was great, the food was delicious and the mojitos were amazing! Happy hour specials were a great deal! We will definitely come back next time we are here
We chose Mezè for Saturday brunch. The food was great and the service was fantastic -- they were incredibly accommodating, even with our large group (there were 15 of us). It is a great value (all you can eat and drink for $32 per person), the menu is fairly varied, with lots of tasty options, and everything is sized nicely to take into account that you're probably going to order a bunch of things (for example, the hamburger is a slider and the eggs Benedict weren't overwhelmingly large). Everyone left full and very happy. I would definitely return!
We were here for Valentine's Day. We chose the 4 and 6 course menu which was way more than we could eat. It would have been nice to see more Turkish options instead of the stuffed chicken. Service was great. Wouldn't mind trying this place again on a regular night.
This wasn't my first time at Meze and I was never disappointed with their brunch. I am never in DC for dinner so I can't say much about dinner experience there but my friend who got me there for brunch first time goes there and recommends their dinner menu as well. I find the service staff friendly but my favorite there is food.
