They have crayz list Mojitos. The food was delicious and to many different variety’s. Kebabs , vegetables , vegan, gluten free dairy free options . Very interesting mix mojito and Turkish food . And Kunefe desserts we wait 15 mins to cooked . But was amazing.love Meze
Food is fresh, flavorful and nicely presented. Prices are reasonable and portions work for sharing. Service is attentive but not intrusive. We liven the neighborhood and always look forward to return visits.
The best Turkish/ Mediterranean restaurant in DC hands down. My favorite brunch place with bottomless food and drinks with exceptional service. $35 per person .Staff makes you feel like family. Great customer service. Recommend for anyone looking for great food, full bar and amazing service!
What an amazing place! I have lived in AdMo for a couple of years and for whatever reason never popped into Meze. I went with a friend this week and I am kicking myself for not having tried it before!
It was raining and chilly out (end of October), but the restaurant had opened up the front of the restaurant so we could be "outside" but still under cover. They placed a heater near the tables and the overhead lamps had heaters, too, so we were very comfortable.
We arrived with some time still left in happy hour, which our server pointed out. We ordered HH drinks (the house red is a delicious Tempranillo) and HH food. We got dessert later on, too. All the food was delicious and I am dying to go back to try more! High marks for the "veggie delight" - I don't remember what the exact name was, and the feta dish that was in a phyllo dough. YUM.
The servers were SUPER attentive, never pushy, and so accommodating. When we left they even reminded us of our umbrellas we'd left inside the main entrance.
I am waiting for an "appropriate" amount of time to pass before trying Meze again. Definitely a neighborhood gem :)
Friendly staff and great happy hour food. Service was great and food was excellent. A cozy neighborhood restaurant, with reasonable prices. Great flavors and everything is made from scratch in the kitchen.
Food was great as was the out door area we sat in. Our only issue was our server was MIA a lot of the time. Never offered us another round of drinks. But all in all I would go again. Hopefully get a different server.
Loved it all - service fast & courteous, food - delicious & fresh, coming back for sure!
This is a good Turkish restaurant, probably the best in DC. Food is very good. Mix & match appetizers for best experience.
Average food. Not very tasty
Really good food and service. It was solidly delish
Friendly staff, nice outdoor seating area. Good food!
Great food and restaurant was extremely responsive to request submitted via Open Table. Affordable meze and good for people watching. Would recommend!
We had great food and excellent service. This is truly a diamond in the rough amongst all the touristy restaurants in the area.
Meze has amazing food and even friendlier staff! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the traditional Turkish food.
Excellent food, outstanding service, good prices, excellent vegan and vegetarian options. Outside seating available.
Meze is great - relaxed atmosphere, friendly and attentive (but not too attentive) staff, and terrific food.
Excellent Turkish mezze in the heart of Adams Morgan. Great Happy Hour menu and prices.
Meze has amazing food and great service! Our waitress helped us pick out delish small plates and paced them out so we had time to enjoy each course.
Overall it was a nice experience. The food was less flavorful than other comparable restaurants in the city, but the portion sizes were nice for small plates.
Great food, great drinks at reasonable prices. Get the basil ginger mojito!
Overall it was too expensive. The foods are good but it was way too pricey. The portion was also too small. At first when I looked at the menu online I thought the price was reasonable. But then when we came in the server told us that those are the small portion ones. Even the items of the entrée were a little bit small. The foods we’re special and tasty. It would be great if the prices could be a little bit lower and reasonable.
Service is excellent! Food was delicious, particularly the salads which were large and used fresh ingredients. Saturday night was crowded with couples and families, many of whom appeared to be Turkish and familiar with the cuisine.
Our server was very good. The food was great too. I would like to eat here again.
Good was great. The all you can eat brunch was a good deal and the drinks were STRONG. Worth the money. Not the fanciest place, but also not a dive.
Great food and great service!!
The food at Meze was outstanding and authentically Turkish. I'm looking forward to going back again really soon as I enjoyed all the dishes that i had immensely. The service was really very good and the ambiance of the restaurant quite enjoyable. I really wish we could've eaten outside, but it was a bit warm at the time we went.
Be sure to try a mojito or two. Service was friendly and fast. It was fun to try lots of small plates. The bronzino wrapped in grape leaves was outstanding.
Fabulous experience. Our server was first-rate. We were celebrating my son’s graduation from Georgetown and the $35 tasting menu was delicious and a great value. Everyone left full and happy. We made a beautiful memory! Thank you Meze!
Excellent. A regular
From the moment we arrived we were greeted with excellent service. The menu was explained to us we were recommended Turkish wines, delicious. The food arrived and it was extremely good. All in all an excellent evening.
Excellent unlimited brunch and drink! Food choices offer variety. Food fresh cooked and hot. Mimosa and Bellini with alchol to juice ratio just right to get nice. Very good service and attention. Bravo Turkey!
Our waitstaff was amazing and we had a large party of 19 people including toddlers and teenagers. The food was amazing, the drinks were great and this restaurant pick truly made me a hero; in my families eyes.
What a find! This Turkish restaurant features small plates with enough variety to please any palate and dietary restrictions. We feasted on fried calamari with a tangy sauce; Sigara Böregi, a warm, fried pastry filled with feta, nuts and herbs; arugula salad, definitely generous even for two (but a little stingy with the feta); and white bean stew with lamb sausage and rice, simply delicious. The chilled rice pudding indeed revived memories of my mother's dessert, although additions of nutmeg or cinnamon would have perked it up a bit. The Turkish sauvignon blanc was fresh and drinkable. Upstairs is quieter and allows for pleasant dinner conversation. The challenge: finding parking in Adams Morgan. Try Metro or taxi/uber if you want to arrive in a good mood...
The food was very good. Service was outstanding. Attentive and acommodating
Great happy hour and outdoor seating.
This restaurant is a gem. It features small plates with enough variety to please any palate. We sat outside and enjoyed the street scene in Adams Morgan. We dined on Grape Leaves, Menti, Karisik kebab, Adana Kebab and Biftek. All the dishes were succulent and absolutely delicious. The grape leaves were the best I've had at any restaurant. The Karisik Kebab combo was excellent but you are better off ordering an entree which is what I did (Adana Kebab). The food is authentic Turkish cuisine. We were in Istanbul in December 2018 and the Adana Kebab tasted just like the Adana Kebab I had at the Cevalia Mall in Instanbul. Outstanding meal and excellent service. We would definitely return again. If you want authentic Turkish cuisine, Meze is the place.
Food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Our waiter was attentive and great in explaining the various dishes.
This was our third visit to Meze within the last two months. As usual all of our expectations were met. Good music, good service, and great food.
The food was awesome. Everything was delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Manager came and asked how everything was going. The ambiance made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely come back ! ❤️
I've been to many, many brunch places and I have to say - this place takes the cake! Meze provided wonderful food and service, and I can't think of one thing that went wrong over the 2 hour period we spent dining here.
Meze is a Turkish restaurant and serves an amazing brunch with everything you could possibly want on the menu (Turkish treats as well as Omelets, etc). We chose the prix fix menu for $35. Basically, this allows you to order anything off the brunch menu (which is huge) and as much as you want. It also includes bottomless champagne, house liquor, Bloody Marys, and Mimosas! All for $35 bucks! We started off with small plates (cheese, olives, hummus, salads, etc) and moved onto the bigger brunch items (French Toast, Eggs Benedict, etc). We never felt rushed and left happy and full of good food!
The service was excellent and very friendly, and the outdoor patio was a fun place to sit and people-watch on a Sunday morning/afternoon. Definitely try this place! You will not be disappointed!
