Mexico Lindo
Mexico Lindo is one of the oldest Mexican restaurants in New York City. The family owned and operated establishment opened its doors in 1972. Owners Antonio and Leonor Bonilla set out with a dream to offer the most authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine in the city. The dishes at Mexico Lindo are local, seasonal and inspired by the home-cooked meals one would eat growing up outside of Mexico City.
Try one of the restaurant’s signature house specials, which include mole poblano, enchiladas de Camaron and grilled steak or pan-seared fish tacos. In the summer, Mexico Lindo celebrates the zucchini squash with a handmade corn masa quesadilla. In the autumn, diners can always enjoy bicolor corn esquites with Mexican herb epazote.
Good food. Nice service
Food was fantastic.
Restaurant was very noisy and full of students. Almost too loud for conversation. Made a reservation but shown to an undesirable table even tho seating area was empty in that area. Finally seated properly. Hope they aren’t slipping.
I really reserve outstanding for fine dining but Mexico Lindo is great eating. Food is delicious and plentiful and overall has a terrific vibe. Our waitress was outstanding- cheerful, helpful and attentive.
Awesome restaurant! Cozy, great food, killer margaritas plus fully stocked bar.
